As a GP clinic, the typical patient journey begins with a walk-in or phone call to check waiting times. A first consultation covers presenting symptoms, medical history, and any immediate investigations or prescriptions required. Singapore Citizens and PRs holding a polyclinic referral letter can be directed onward to a restructured hospital specialist outpatient clinic (SOC) at subsidised rates; walk-in private specialist referrals can also be arranged directly. Chronic disease management — for conditions such as hypertension, type 2 diabetes, and hyperlipidaemia — may be managed under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP), enabling MediSave 700 outpatient withdrawal for eligible patients. Confirm whether the clinic participates in CHAS, MediShield Life, and your Integrated Shield Plan (IP) before your visit.
To book an appointment or confirm current waiting times, contact Kang An Clinic Bukit Batok Central directly by phone before heading down.
Verify the doctor's name on the Singapore Medical Council register and the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before booking, and for any planned procedure request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.
Old school and timeless clinic, brings back a lot of memories as a kid. Sweetest and kindest doctor I have ever met. Lady at the front desk is also very patient and lovely.

We have been looking for a good family doctor, after my husband had visited just weeks ago and followed by my daughter today, we would like to comment Dr Lee is a good doctor, not only he is experience, he is patient, listening to patients, serious and details. Clinic is simple, spacious. Nurse is experience and careful, my daughter having flu and she advised her to sit outside, which is fine for us. Thanks Dr Lee and nurse. We blessed to have good GP in our neighborhood.
I have read some negative feedback here but it's to each of it's own. I haven seen Doctor Lee for easily 20+ years, from longer hair to now botak 😀😀😀. I would say Doctor Lee is a good Doctor with passion. His clinic also charges reasonably. Cheers.
Dr Lee has been running this clinic for many years in this town. He is down to earth, clear, answers your doubts and certainly reasonable. There is definitely a difference between how his clinic is compared to new and furnished clinics. I've lived in this town for more than 20 yrs, he is the best for medical care. Dr Lee have been serving the residents for more than 30 yrs now. I'm certain the doctor is one of our finest in this estate.

Additional charges may apply for investigations such as a blood panel (S$60–200), swab tests, X-rays (S$80–150), or any prescriptions dispensed. GST applies on private medical services. CHAS (Community Health Assist Scheme) cardholders — Blue, Orange, or Green — may be entitled to subsidised consultation and medication fees if the clinic is a CHAS-enrolled provider; confirm this directly before visiting. No regulatory licences are currently listed on this KakiList profile, so patients should verify credentials directly with the clinic before booking. Every legitimate GP clinic must hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence under the Healthcare Services Act — verifiable on the MOH licensee directory at moh.gov.sg. Every practising doctor in Singapore must be registered on the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) public register at smc.gov.sg; search the attending doctor's name to confirm active registration status and any disciplinary notes. The clinic holds a 4.3 out of 5 rating across 39 Google reviews, which is a moderate sample. KakiList has verified operating details and contact information for this listing, though ACRA registration has not been confirmed on this profile. Verify the MOH Healthcare Services Licence and the named doctor's SMC registration before your appointment, and confirm CHAS or MediSave participation if relevant to your visit.
For GP visits, MediSave can be used under the outpatient withdrawal limit of up to S$500 per year for general outpatient treatments, or up to S$700 per year under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP) if you have a qualifying chronic condition such as hypertension, type 2 diabetes, hyperlipidaemia, asthma, or stroke. Confirm whether the clinic is CDMP-enrolled and accepts MediSave before your visit, as not all GP clinics participate. Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) typically cover inpatient and day-surgery costs rather than routine GP consultations, though some riders include GP benefits — check your policy documents or call your insurer. For any planned referral to a specialist or day-surgery procedure arising from a GP visit, request a written financial counselling estimate from the receiving provider that clearly splits the insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before proceeding.
