I started renting the dojo from Keiseikan back in 2023 to conduct martial arts classes. They have clean and well furnished facility. And my students also love the convenient location. We have build a friendship and a partnership. Sensei Teng has also become my mentor in options & stock trading. He is well articulated, patient and provide efficient 1-1 coaching. The trading knowledge imparted to me is a valuable skill and I am grateful. I am able to make substantial passive income by attaining these trading skill sets. Thank you to Sensei Teng and Keiseikan
I have trained Karate here for close to a year now and I absolutely enjoy the teachings and people around! The instructors are very patient in teaching and friendly by ensuring that you are able to get the basics right and understand the roots of the Karate at the same time. You can also look forward to dinners after the night classes! Highly recommended to all ages whether you are kid or adult as there are well structured training sessions for both categories. This club also has kobudo lessons if you are interested in weapons as well.
I have been practicing karate for many years, and along the way I have trained under different styles, different schools and different senseis. I am glad that i joined Keiseikan Dojo. Joining Inoue-ha Shitoryu karate is eye-opening experience for me, techniques from what I have learned can be done in a more efficient way. Sensei Teng always willing to teach and share his personal experience whenever I am in doubt. Besides, the dojo environment is welcoming and comfortable. Not to mention, I am very fortunate to join Kenshin-ryu Kobudo class where I can practice the weapon systems of Okinawan martial art under Sensei Teng, a certified Kobudo sensei. I would highly recommend this dojo to anyone thinking of learning martial art and looking for something more practical and functional.
Being a part of Keiseikan Dojo is truly a wonderful experience! It is an eye opener to learn about the essence of Inoue-ha Shito-ryu Karate where I acquire new techniques from this system in strengthening my impact from what I have been practicing in the past. What excites me more is the opportunity to join Kobudo (weapon) training whereby the dojo instructor, Sensei Teng, is the only approved certified kobudo instructor in Singapore. It helps to complement my Karate training for better Karate performance. Sensei Teng is more than willing to share his experience and knowledge. He always explain in detail on the fundamentals and applications, accompanied with personal demonstration to ensure we fully grasp and master the techniques. Basics (kihon) is always being emphasized to help us build a stronger foundation. We always strive to continuously improve ourselves. Sensei and senpais are very approachable for us to ask for more guidance. Overall, it is a healthy and positive environment! Looking forward to more exciting things to come!
Having always wanted to study Karate I was very lucky to find Keiseikan. The training is excellent and Sensei Teng and other seniors are always willing to share their knowledge and advice. The classes are varied and interesting and also help keep my waistline in check! I would highly recommend the club to anyone.

Keiseikan Karate has not published a detailed fee schedule on its listing, so exact per-session or monthly rates should be confirmed directly with the school. In Singapore, martial arts and sports enrichment classes typically range from S$25–60 per session for group classes, with monthly packages often working out more economical than pay-per-session arrangements. Some schools charge a one-off registration fee and may require a uniform purchase at enrolment. Ask about sibling discounts, package pricing for a full term, and whether any materials or grading fees are charged separately. See the full Sport & Swimming Schools cost guide for Singapore →
Many martial arts schools in Singapore allow prospective students to observe or join a trial session before signing up for a full term or package. It is worth asking Keiseikan Karate directly whether a trial is available and whether it is complimentary or charged at a nominal fee. A trial session is a useful opportunity to assess whether the class level is appropriate, how the instructor manages the group, and whether the pace and teaching style suit the student. Pay attention to how the instructor engages students of different experience levels, as this often reflects the quality of the ongoing programme.
Keiseikan Karate's listing does not specify the instructors' qualifications or grading credentials. For a karate school, relevant signals include the instructor's dan grade, affiliation with a recognised karate association such as the World Karate Federation or the Singapore Karate-Do Federation, and any coaching or sports science background. It is advisable to ask directly about the lead instructor's qualifications, years of teaching experience, and competition or grading history before committing to a term. A reputable school will be transparent about its instructors' credentials and the syllabus it follows.
