About "Kent Ridge Education"
Kent Ridge Education is a private tuition provider operating islandwide across Singapore. The listing is KakiList-verified and ACRA-registered, and it holds a Google rating of 4.8 out of 5 across 28 reviews — a moderate sample that suggests consistent positive feedback, though prospective families are encouraged to read individual reviews before drawing conclusions. Pricing is indicated at the mid-range tier ($$), though specific per-session or monthly package fees are not publicly listed and should be confirmed directly with the provider.
When enquiring, it is useful to share the student's current level and the syllabus being followed — whether MOE, IB, IGCSE, or another curriculum — so the tutor can confirm a good fit. Families should ask whether sessions are conducted one-to-one or in small groups, as this affects both pacing and price. Clarify whether tuition takes place at the centre address in Toa Payoh, at the student's home, or online, and whether a trial class is available before committing to a term. Some providers require a short-term commitment after the trial, so it is worth confirming the cancellation or deferment policy upfront.
To get started, reach out to Kent Ridge Education via phone or the online enquiry form to confirm subject availability, scheduling, and fees for your child's level before booking a trial session.
Take the trial class and confirm the tutor's actual credentials before committing to a term.

Kent Ridge Education displays a mid-range ($$) price indicator, but specific per-session rates, monthly package fees, and term commitments are not publicly listed. Tuition pricing in Singapore varies considerably by subject, level, and format — one-to-one sessions typically cost more than group classes. When enquiring, ask whether a trial class is available and what it costs, whether materials or workbooks carry a separate charge, and whether sibling or multi-subject discounts apply. Some providers bundle sessions into monthly or term packages that work out cheaper per lesson. See the full Private Tutors cost guide for Singapore →
Many tuition providers in Singapore offer a trial class — sometimes at a reduced fee or at the standard per-session rate — so students and parents can assess fit before signing up for a term. It is worth asking Kent Ridge Education directly whether a trial is available and what the fee, if any, is. During the trial, pay attention to whether the tutor pitches the content at the right level, whether the student feels comfortable asking questions, and whether the teaching style matches how your child learns best. A single session is usually enough to judge engagement and approach. If the trial feels rushed or misaligned with your child's syllabus, raise it immediately — a good tutor will adjust or acknowledge the mismatch honestly.
Credential details for Kent Ridge Education are not publicly listed on this directory. When contacting the provider, it is reasonable to ask about the tutor's educational background, whether they have NIE training or prior MOE teaching experience, and how many years they have been teaching the relevant subject and level. For syllabus-specific tuition — particularly for PSLE, O-Level, A-Level, IB, or IGCSE — it is worth confirming that the tutor is familiar with current marking schemes and examiners' expectations, as these do change over time. Take the trial class and confirm the tutor's actual credentials before committing to a term.
