It is worth confirming which syllabus the tutors align to (MOE, IGCSE, IB, or others), asking about term commitment expectations, and finding out whether a trial class is available before signing up for a full term. The centre is located within HDB Hub, which is accessible via Toa Payoh MRT, making it a practical option for students from a wide range of neighbourhoods across Singapore.
To take the next step, contact Kent Ridge Education directly by phone or via the enquiry form on their listing to ask about subject availability for your child's level and to arrange a trial class.
Take the trial class and confirm the tutor's actual credentials before committing to a term.

Kent Ridge Education has not published its session rates publicly, so families should contact the centre directly for the current fee schedule. In the Singapore tuition market, group sessions typically range from S$30 to S$80 per session depending on the level and subject, while one-to-one tuition generally runs from S$60 to S$150 or more per session. Some centres charge a monthly package or term fee rather than a per-session rate, and there may be a separate materials or workbook fee. Ask about trial class pricing, sibling discounts, and whether any package or term commitment is required. Clarify whether fees are collected monthly or termly, and confirm the refund or make-up class policy for sessions missed. See the full tuition cost guide for Singapore →
Many tuition centres in Singapore offer a trial class — sometimes at a reduced fee or at the standard per-session rate — so it is worth asking Kent Ridge Education directly whether this option is available and what the cost would be. A trial class is a useful opportunity to assess whether the teaching pace and style suit your child, whether the class size allows sufficient individual attention, and whether the level of difficulty is well-matched to your child's current standing in school. Take note of how the tutor explains concepts, how students are encouraged to ask questions, and whether the overall atmosphere feels engaging. After the trial, discuss your observations with your child before committing to a full term, as comfort and confidence in the learning environment tend to affect outcomes significantly.
Specific tutor credentials for Kent Ridge Education are not listed publicly, so families are advised to ask directly. Relevant questions include whether tutors hold a degree in their subject area, whether any have a background teaching in MOE schools or hold a NIE qualification, and how many years of tutoring experience they have. It is also worth confirming which syllabus or examination board the tutors are familiar with — for instance, MOE SEAB for PSLE and O-Level students, or Cambridge IGCSE and IB for international school students — as syllabus alignment can make a meaningful difference to exam preparation. If your child has a specific subject or level in mind, ask whether the same tutor is assigned consistently, as continuity generally supports stronger progress over a term.
