When enquiring, it is worth clarifying which level and syllabus your child is on — Primary, Secondary, or Junior College, and whether the focus is on the MOE standard syllabus, O-Level, A-Level, or an international curriculum such as IGCSE or IB. Ask whether the centre offers group classes or one-to-one tuition, as class size directly affects the pace and attention your child receives. Find out whether a trial class is available before committing to a full term, and confirm the term length, payment schedule, and any materials fees. If you are not based in Ang Mo Kio, check whether online sessions are offered.
To take the next step, reach out to Kiasu Maths Tuition Centre via WhatsApp, phone, or the online enquiry form to ask about current availability for your child's level, request details on the trial class, and confirm the fee structure before signing up for a full term.
Take the trial class and confirm the tutor's actual credentials before committing to a term.
We are very thankful to Teacher Calvin for his excellent guidance! In just three lessons before WA3, my son’s A-Math score improved from 2/30 to 17/30 — and he finally passed for the first time. Teacher Calvin is very patient, clear in his explanations, and knows how to build a student’s confidence in a short time. His teaching made a big difference, and we are grateful for his dedication. We are also grateful to Kenneth for his patience in arranging the classes so smoothly. The support from both has made a big difference in my son’s learning journey. Highly recommended!
We are incredibly pleased with Teacher Shereen's approach to math. According to my daughter, she consistently explains concepts step-by-step, ensuring the students understand the logic behind each solution. Takes time to answer every student's questions fully, which benefits the entire class, and is skilled at adapting her teaching to accommodate different levels of understanding. Mia truly enjoys her class and is looking forward to the next lesson! Parents, if you are reading this review and looking for a tuition centre, look no further ! :)
Teacher Shereen and the other teachers are very friendly. Teacher Shereen is excellent at teaching. She's really patient, goes through each topic extensively and gives notes for you to revise. She really loves her job and always exudes a cheerful demeanour when she's teaching. Her lessons really helped me understand Math. She takes time to go through the harder questions and ensure that everyone understands before proceeding to the other questions.
I failed my Amath for 3 terms and was about to give up. In less than 4 weeks, Teacher Horace managed to help me understand the entire year's content by patiently explaining concepts and teaching me different methods to remember math theory. I managed to go from F to B for my EOY. I am truly grateful to Mr Horace and the tutors at Kiasu Math
Teacher Valerie is honestly the best math teacher I’ve had. She taught me A-Math and always explains things super clearly, even when I’m stuck. She’s really patient and never gets tired of re-explaining until I understand. Math used to feel so difficult, but now I feel a lot more confident and my results improved a lot. I really love her classes and would definitely recommend her to anyone struggling with math!

Kiasu Maths Tuition Centre's specific per-session or monthly fee is not publicly listed, so you will need to contact them directly for a quote. As a general guide, group tuition in Singapore for primary levels typically runs S$150–320 per month, secondary group tuition S$200–400 per month, and JC group classes S$350–600 per month. One-to-one sessions command a premium above these figures. Ask whether fees are structured as a per-session rate, a monthly package, or a fixed term fee, as the billing model affects flexibility if you need to pause or withdraw. Confirm whether there is a separate materials or workbook charge and whether any sibling or multi-subject discounts apply. See the full tuition cost guide for Singapore →
Many tuition centres in Singapore offer a trial class, sometimes at a reduced fee or as part of the first paid session. Contact Kiasu Maths Tuition Centre directly to ask whether a trial is available for your child's level and what the associated cost is. During the trial, pay attention to whether the teaching pace matches your child's current ability, whether the tutor checks for understanding rather than just delivering content, and whether your child feels comfortable asking questions. A single session is enough to gauge whether the style suits your child's learning preferences. If a formal trial is not offered, ask to observe a class or request a brief consultation with the tutor before committing to a full term.
Credential details for the tutors at Kiasu Maths Tuition Centre are not publicly listed on this directory. When you contact the centre, it is reasonable to ask whether tutors hold a degree in Mathematics or a related discipline, whether any have an NIE qualification or prior MOE teaching experience, and how long they have been teaching the specific syllabus your child is following. For O-Level and A-Level preparation in particular, confirm that the tutor is familiar with the current SEAB syllabus and marking scheme, as these are updated periodically. For international curricula such as IGCSE, IB, or AP, ask for specific experience with that programme. Take the trial class and confirm the tutor's actual credentials before committing to a term.
