Families considering Kindermusik Singapore would typically begin by enquiring about the appropriate level or age-group fit for their child, as music-based enrichment programmes are usually structured by developmental stage. It is worth asking whether a trial class is available before committing to a term, and whether classes run in group or one-to-one format. Parents should also clarify the term length and commitment required, any materials or instrument fees that apply alongside the programme fee, and whether classes are held in-centre or available online. Sibling discounts or package bundles, if offered, are worth raising at the point of enquiry.
To take the next step, contact Kindermusik Singapore by phone or through the enquiry form on their listing to ask about current class schedules, age-group availability, and whether a trial session can be arranged before you commit to a full term.
Take the trial class and confirm the tutor's actual credentials before committing to a term.
we had a trial lesson and the start time was 10:30 but they started at 10:35. Since my baby was a bit disconnected to the class so I was hesitant to sign up the term and the lady at the counter was so unfriendly and started having such a pissed off face when she realised I was not going to register. She was just keen on making us register, didnt say thank you nor bye because we didnt sign up. They may have to think registration is up to how much kids enjoy and engaged, not just parents’s will. The teacher was nice but her female co-worker was really not nice. very unpleasant experience because of the lady who had really unfriendly manner with customers.
We have been with Kindermusik at Katong for the past two and a half years with Teacher Evon. Am so glad I sent my daughter there where she enjoyed has a terrific time every week and learnt music appreciation, building her personality and learning social skills in this setting. Teacher Evon is the best, and she is always passionate, interactive and entertaining to all the children in class. My daughter is especially comfortable with her, and looks forward to going for classes every week. Thank you to Kindermusik and all the teachers that have given my girl such an amazing experience in her growing up years! 🥰
Went for the trial class today - the teacher might benefit from some feedback on their teaching style. She was not engaging and lack enthusiasm in the classroom. The class was boring. One segment in particular where she was singing a song and allowing the child to participate by hitting on the drum as she go along - it was done 1 child at a time. And all the others had to wait for each song to be sang to each child at a time, instead of engaging the class together. For a group of 6-18mths, they would have felt so disengaged while waiting for their turn. Not an interactive music class where kids can learn and play.
We’ve been with Kindermusik Katong V for the last 2 years, right from when my daughter was just over a year. I’ve always been impressed with the creativity of the program and how amazingly professional the teachers are! I probably enjoyed all the lessons as much as my kiddo did when we did parent accompanied lessons. When COVID struck, Kindermusik really stepped up to bring music into our homes and we were delighted that we could continue our music journey remotely. One could tell that great effort went into planning interactive and high quality lessons across the circuit breaker period. Now that my kiddo is older, she has graduated beyond parent accompanied classes and continues to have the best time. Shout out as well to her current teacher Teacher Sue Lyn who has been wonderfully accommodating and whose lessons my kid is now a fan of. Highly recommended!
5 stars for a great place to start kids on music. The teachers and staff are all very friendly and attentive to the kids. My girl enjoyed her lessons very much! She looks forward to her weekly class to see her teacher and friends! You can feel the genuine love the teachers have for the students. Highly recommended for parents who want to start their kids on music. They have structured courses for kids of different ages so don't be shy to ask.

Many enrichment music programmes offer a trial class so that parents and children can assess whether the format, pace, and teaching style are a good fit before signing up for a full term. A trial class also lets you observe how the educator engages children at the relevant developmental stage and whether the level of the programme matches your child's current experience. When attending a trial, look at how the class is structured, how the educator responds to different engagement levels among children, and whether your child appears comfortable and interested. Ask whether the trial fee is credited towards the first term if you proceed. Kindermusik Singapore should be contacted directly to confirm their current trial class policy and availability.
Kindermusik is an internationally recognised music and movement curriculum, and educators who deliver it are typically required to complete Kindermusik-specific training and hold a current educator licence issued by Kindermusik International. This is separate from general music teaching qualifications, though many educators also hold music degrees, diplomas from bodies such as ABRSM or Trinity, or prior teaching experience. Credential details for the specific educators at this centre are not available on the listing. It is worth asking directly about the lead educator's Kindermusik licence status, any formal music qualifications, and how long they have been delivering the programme. Years of experience with the specific age group your child falls into is a practical indicator of suitability.
