About Kingsway Medical Clinic Braddell
Kingsway Medical Clinic Braddell is a general practice clinic located at 109 Lorong 1 Toa Payoh, serving residents across Toa Payoh, Braddell, and the surrounding neighbourhoods. The clinic has been verified by KakiList, and holds a 4.1-star rating across 268 Google reviews — a robust sample that provides a reliable indication of patient experience. No regulatory licences are listed in the current directory data, and ACRA registration could not be confirmed; prospective patients should verify the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence and the consulting doctor's Singapore Medical Council (SMC) registration directly before booking.
For a first visit, patients typically present without a referral for acute or chronic conditions managed at GP level — common cold and respiratory infections, fever, urinary tract infections, skin conditions, wound care, and chronic disease follow-up for conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, and hyperlipidaemia under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP). CDMP-listed conditions attract MediSave 500/700 outpatient withdrawal benefits, which can offset consultation and medication costs for eligible Singapore Citizens and PRs. Patients requiring specialist review will receive a referral letter, which supports a subsidised Specialist Outpatient Clinic appointment at a public hospital. The clinic can be reached by WhatsApp, phone, or the online enquiry form.
To make an appointment or check same-day walk-in availability, contact Kingsway Medical Clinic Braddell directly via WhatsApp or phone before travelling to the clinic.
Verify the doctor's name on the Singapore Medical Council register and the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before booking, and for any planned procedure request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.
Highly recommended! The entire team here is incredibly professional and welcoming. The Doctor was thorough and patient, ensuring I fully understood my condition and all possible treatments. I was also impressed by the administrative staff, who took the time to tailor my medication schedule to my specific lifestyle. It’s rare to find a clinic where every single person makes you feel this comfortable and cared for.
My daughter had sustained a fall and we attended the clinic for assessment and treatment of her knee wound. During the consultation, I enquired about what treatment was planned & voice my concern about any potential bone fracture. Dr. Zhang Qi responded by suggesting that I could “go buy $5 dressing at the pharmacy instead,” which was delivered in a manner that felt dismissive. He also mentioned that to perform the assessment, the dressing must be done (which cost $70) I believe patients and parents are entitled to a clear and respectful explanation of the medical assessment and treatment plan. The tone and phrasing used during the consultation left me feeling uncomfortable and undervalued as a parent seeking care for my child. Additionally, Dr. Zhang mentioned that he was acting according to what his “bosses have asked him to do.” I found this response concerning, as it suggests that clinical decisions may be influenced by non-medical directives rather than professional judgment or patient-centered care. Very bad experience with Dr Zhang Qi, who is very impatient and chased us out in 3 minutes after we waited 30+mins for him to see 2 patients. He was shaking his leg like nobody's business and just asked us to bring our child to the emergency department without specifics. Very bad attitude... When my wife went in again to ask which hospital to go to, he practically just chased her out.
I encounter problem with my LPA. Doctor Tan was very precise and assist me with my questions. The clinic assistant Cassandra was very patient in helping me with my LPA as i need to revoke and do again.
Convenient location. Carpark in front of clinic. Don’t need to turn here, turn there like other heartland clinics… just next to MacDonald so you cannot miss it! Clean, neat place. Amazing staff and doctor is very kind and patient. 👍🏻

GP consultations at private clinics in Singapore typically run S$25–60 per visit, covering the consultation and a basic examination. Medications, swabs, and investigations are billed on top — a blood panel runs roughly S$60–200, a urine dipstick or culture S$20–60, and an X-ray S$80–150 where required. GST applies on private medical services. For CHAS cardholders (Blue, Orange, or Green), subsidised rates apply at participating GP clinics — confirm whether Kingsway Medical Clinic Braddell is a CHAS-enrolled clinic before your visit. For chronic conditions covered under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP), MediSave can be used for outpatient expenses up to S$500–700 per year. For any planned investigation or procedure, ask for a written cost estimate that splits out each line item. See the full GP & 24-Hour Clinics cost guide for Singapore →
Every legitimate clinic operating in Singapore holds an MOH Healthcare Services Licence issued under the Healthcare Services Act — verifiable on the MOH licensee directory online. Every practising doctor must also be registered on the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) public register at smc.gov.sg, where you can confirm registration status, any specialist accreditation, and disciplinary history. No licences are currently listed in Kingsway Medical Clinic Braddell's directory entry, and ACRA registration could not be confirmed. It is advisable to verify both the clinic's MOH licence and the named doctor's SMC registration before booking, particularly if you intend to claim under an Integrated Shield Plan or MediSave. Neither confirmation alone is sufficient — both should be in order.
MediSave can be used for outpatient GP visits under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP), which covers conditions including hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidaemia, stroke, asthma, COPD, and selected mental health conditions — up to S$500 per year (S$700 with an approved chronic condition). Routine acute consultations are generally not MediSave-claimable at the outpatient level. Most Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) cover inpatient and day-surgery costs but do not cover standard GP consultations directly; however, a GP referral letter can support a subsidised Specialist Outpatient Clinic appointment at a public hospital, where IP and MediShield Life coverage applies to any subsequent admission. For planned procedures or investigations, request a written financial estimate from the clinic that itemises insurance, MediSave, and out-of-pocket portions before proceeding. Skipping this step is the most common reason patients are surprised by their final bill.
