You might think "Pffft! this is just another optometry shop. There are so many of them in Singapore. In fact there's at least one in every major mall in Singapore." ~ Sorry pal, this is where you're wrong. The optometrist at this shop knows his trade. He patiently explained the condition of my both parents' eyes until they understood the situation, and even suggest next steps. He even explained how best to get bi-focals based on our history of optical habits. Such dedication to customer's details. Worried that the optometrist will hard sell your products that you don't need? No worries here too. He could have easily sold 2 pairs of glasses to my father that day and another pair to my mother, but we made our way out with only one pair. The optometrist told my father he would only need one for reading until he gets his cataracts removed. He even told my mother there's no need to make another pair since her current prescription is similar to the glasses she's wearing. It's hard to find this kind of honesty in this day and age. Now my whole family is going to our prescriptive lenses here!
