About Komo Medical Clinic Changi
Komo Medical Clinic Changi is a general practice clinic located at Komo Shoppes on Upper Changi Road North, serving patients across the east of Singapore and beyond. The clinic holds a 4.7-star rating across 95 Google reviews — a moderate sample that provides a reasonable directional signal of patient satisfaction. No regulatory licences have been confirmed in the listing data at this time, and the clinic is not currently ACRA-verified on KakiList; patients are advised to confirm the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence and the consulting doctor's Singapore Medical Council registration directly before booking.
For most visits, patients can contact the clinic by phone or enquiry form to check waiting times or appointment availability. A GP consultation covers presenting symptoms, examination, diagnosis, and prescription where indicated. For patients managing chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, or lipid disorders, it is worth asking whether the clinic participates in the Chronic Disease Management Programme, which allows partial MediSave withdrawal for eligible outpatient consultations. Patients with Integrated Shield Plans should confirm whether the clinic is a panel provider under their insurer, as this affects claims for specialist referrals and downstream costs.
To get started, contact Komo Medical Clinic Changi by phone or through the enquiry form to check current appointment availability or walk-in waiting times before heading to the clinic.
Verify the doctor's name on the Singapore Medical Council register and the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before booking, and for any planned procedure request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.
One star is for the staff who handled an abusive uncle quite professionally. Here’s my experience: I booked online for a comprehensive check up and received an sms as confirmation. However there’s no instruction re: fasting so I went to the clinic the day before to find out, the nurse also gave me stool and urine collection kits just so I can bring them in on appt day. The next morning I realised the date of birth was wrong, it made me 30 years older than my actual date of birth, so I told the staff and she laughed then said she will correct that. The week after I went to collect the report and see the doctor, also asked about ECG which was stated as part of the package, the assistant was like “oh you want to do it ah? Can we can do it!” - why do I need to ask? What do you mean “I want to do it ah?” It’s in the package?? Then I know why, she was clearly not trained properly to do it, it took her a long time trying and still couldn’t get it right, then have to cover me up and left, then came back saying all is ok we are done… I believe it’s because my phone and Apple Watch are all in the bag that placed right next to my left arm (but I’m no expert in this), otherwise it’s her training then. Later on when I was leaving, I realised on the report it’s still stated the wrong age 🤦🏻♀️ so I asked her again, she said she can generate a new report and send to me, I was like - “aren’t the indicative indexes on the lab report based on age? Is changing only the birth date sufficient?” She laughed like I was telling a very funny joke…. (Really?? 😭) Anyway two days later I still had to chase the new report…. Decided that I’ll not return to this clinic no matter what… really surprised by the 4.7/5 reviews. Sorry but the assistant has cigarette smell and the Dr wasn’t even patient or seems interested to explain anything a bit more.

Every legitimate clinic in Singapore must hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence under the Healthcare Services Act — verifiable on the MOH licensee directory at moh.gov.sg. Every practising doctor must also appear on the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) public register at smc.gov.sg, where you can confirm registration status, any specialist accreditation, and disciplinary history. No licences have been confirmed in the current KakiList listing for Komo Medical Clinic Changi, so patients should verify both the clinic's MOH licence and the named doctor's SMC entry directly before booking. For GP visits, basic SMC registration is the relevant credential. If you are referred for a surgical or specialist procedure, look additionally for a Royal College or Academy of Medicine Singapore fellowship (FRCS or FAMS) in the relevant discipline.
MediSave can be used for outpatient GP visits under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP) for listed conditions including hypertension, diabetes, lipid disorders, stroke, asthma, COPD, and selected mental health conditions, subject to a S$500/year general outpatient withdrawal limit (S$700/year under CDMP). Confirm with the clinic whether it is CDMP-accredited before your visit if this applies to you. For patients with Integrated Shield Plans layered on MediShield Life, GP panel status varies by insurer — check your IP insurer's panel list before attending if you intend to claim. For any planned procedure beyond a standard GP visit, request a written financial counselling estimate from the clinic that clearly splits insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before proceeding. Skipping this step is the most common reason patients are surprised by their final bill.
