I’m someone who is very afraid of visiting the dentist, and my teeth are quite sensitive. DR Romana Ong was extremely professional and gentle. She carefully checked everything, filled one of my teeth, and did a thorough cleaning. She is a very dedicated and responsible dentist who genuinely just wants to save every single little white tooth. Strongly recommended.
Dr Tan Hui Peng is very experienced and gentle in her work. The scaling session was not painful at all. She was very patient during the consultation, highly recommend!
Dr Wu is a very skilled and attentive dentist! Did my teeth whitening and cleaning with him. Even thought I had the fear of dentist for a while, I did not feel so afraid because Dr Wu is very clear on what he’s supposed to do and warns me beforehand if I’d feel any pain. 100% recommend!
Dr. Kong did an excellent job with my braces. She’s very knowledgeable and truly cares about her patients’ dental well-being.

Dental fees in Singapore vary by procedure. A routine consultation and examination typically runs S$30–80 at a private clinic, with professional scaling and polishing adding S$80–150. Fillings range from S$80–250 depending on material (composite vs amalgam) and the number of surfaces treated. Extractions run S$100–400 for simple cases, more for surgical wisdom-tooth removal. Dental X-rays, fluoride treatment, and fissure sealants are usually billed separately. Kong Dental Clinic & Surgery has not published a fixed fee schedule in this listing. Contact the clinic directly by WhatsApp or phone to confirm current charges for your specific procedure before attending. See the full dental cost guide for Singapore →
No referral is required to book a first appointment at a private dental clinic. You can contact Kong Dental Clinic & Surgery directly to arrange an appointment. On your first visit, the dentist will typically conduct a clinical examination, take diagnostic X-rays if needed, and discuss a treatment plan before proceeding with any procedure. If you have a complex dental condition — such as significant periodontal disease, impacted teeth, or a need for implants or orthodontic treatment — a GP referral is not necessary, but it is worth asking at the time of booking whether the clinic handles the specific treatment in-house or refers on to a specialist. Patients with certain medical conditions (blood thinners, heart conditions, diabetes) should inform the clinic in advance, as this may affect treatment planning.
Dental clinics in Singapore are regulated by the Singapore Dental Council (SDC) under the Dental Registration Act. Every practising dentist must be registered with the SDC, and the clinic premises require a licence from the Ministry of Health under the Healthcare Services Act. The SDC's public register, accessible at moh.gov.sg, allows you to verify any dentist's registration status by name. No licences have been confirmed in this listing for Kong Dental Clinic & Surgery. KakiList has verified the operating details and contact channel, and the clinic holds a 4.7-star rating across 225 Google reviews — a robust sample. However, ACRA registration has not been confirmed. Confirm the treating dentist's registration on the SDC public register before booking.
