About Lacta by Hardies
Lacta by Hardies is a confinement food catering service operating islandwide from its base at Hougang Mall. It has been verified by KakiList, meaning a real person confirmed its operating details and contact channel. The service holds a 4.8-star rating across 13 Google reviews, though this is a small sample and should be treated as directional only. Pricing is package-based, and the '$$' indicator suggests mid-range positioning within the Singapore confinement food market.
Mothers typically begin by contacting Lacta by Hardies via phone or the enquiry form to confirm availability around their expected delivery date. When enquiring, it is worth clarifying the dietary tradition offered (Cantonese, Hokkien, Teochew, Western postnatal, halal, or vegetarian), how many trays are delivered per day — typically two covering lunch and dinner, sometimes three with breakfast — and whether herbal soups, red dates tea, longan tea, and confinement tonics are included in the package price or billed separately. Confirm the twice-daily delivery windows, packaging type (ideally BPA-free and microwave-safe), and any surcharge for your area before committing. Where possible, request a trial meal before paying the package deposit, as confinement appetite and personal taste are difficult to predict from a menu alone.
To take the next step, reach Lacta by Hardies by phone or through the online enquiry form to ask about current package options, delivery coverage for your address, and trial meal availability ahead of your due date.

I like to buy at LAC Hougang Mall because the staff are friendly and help me to save the best savings that I can use. Specially Bee Hong with her knowledge about the product. John and May is also very helpful if Bee Hong not around. Thank you Hougang Team.
Hi I am at Hougang mall lac store I have very great excellent service and recommendations by staff know as May Sum . She have a great knowledge and patience to explain & clear the doubts. I am really appreciate for her prompt service and recommendations thank you I recommend to visit this store . Thank you 🙏
May Sum is very patient and detailed in her explanation. She explain all the products clearly and help us to understand the product.
The staff by the name of May Sum, had served me and she’s very courteous, humble and provided professional & credible advice on how to consume GNC products so that we could reap the most out of our monies spent! We also observed that she’s very enthusiastic about serving customers and helping them with their purchases. We will probably return again for the 300-capsule version if these 50 capsules work out ok for us without any allergies. Highly recommended to buy fr this branch! Lately we have decided to start on Masquelier’s french pine bark even though my dad was already on GNC’s Pycnogenol as early as when I was still in school. My dad’s perseverance over his daily consumption of this supplement has finally paid off at his old age. Although he has a very sedentary lifestyle for retirement during these recent years, where he had consistently been on a lifetime of restaurant food including titbits, the decades of cumulative benefits from the french pine bark has finally been clearly established by way of his supple skin condition and a hardy health constitution. That’s even though he is already in his mid 70s! His skin texture is glossy, smooth and surprisingly wrinkle free. There are people who asked him what shower gel he uses & all of us knew that this doesn’t really weigh in on his skin condition! And he rarely catch a flu. We ourselves who are much younger than him have finally decided to give the product a try since we are facing some medical issues due to advanced aging… although it’s a good product, it doesn’t come cheap even when there’s membership discounts. Will really need deep pockets for a lifetime worth of consumption!
Thanks for Sherlene gave me a warm and welcome services. Besides, she advised me that how to get some promotions and payment method to get voucher then helped me save some money.

Lacta by Hardies uses a package-based pricing model, consistent with the Singapore confinement food market where 28-day packages typically range from S$1,200 to S$2,800. Shorter 7-day or 14-day options are sometimes available for mothers who want a trial before committing to a full month. Pricing generally depends on the number of trays per day — two trays covering lunch and dinner is the standard, with breakfast as an optional add-on — and whether herbal soups, red dates tea, and confinement tonics are bundled or billed separately. Check whether a delivery surcharge applies to your address, particularly for landed or non-central locations. Contact Lacta by Hardies directly for current package rates, as specific pricing is not publicly listed. See the full confinement food cost guide for Singapore →
Singapore confinement food traditions vary considerably — Cantonese is the most common, built around warming herbal soups, ginger, sesame oil, and rice wine, while Hokkien, Teochew, Western-style postnatal, halal, and vegetarian options exist across different providers. It is worth confirming with Lacta by Hardies which tradition underpins their menu, whether the daily menu rotates or repeats on a weekly cycle, and whether dishes can be adjusted for breastfeeding mothers who prefer low-spice or alcohol-free preparations. Most reputable confinement food caterers offer a single-day or trial meal at around S$30–60. Booking a trial before paying any package deposit is strongly recommended, because confinement appetite shifts daily and personal taste matters more than how a menu reads on paper. Ask Lacta by Hardies whether a trial meal is available when you first enquire.
Licensed confinement food operations in Singapore hold an SFA Food Shop Licence or Catering Licence, with a hygiene grade of A (highest), B, C, or D displayed at the premises or on packaging. Halal-certified providers additionally hold a MUIS certificate, which should appear on packaging and the MUIS online directory. No regulatory licences are currently listed for Lacta by Hardies on KakiList — contact them directly to confirm their SFA licence status and hygiene grade before paying a deposit. Confinement meals are typically cooked the same day and delivered hot in microwave-safe, BPA-free containers within a roughly 4-hour window. Confirm the twice-daily delivery slots, packaging type, and the substitute or refund policy for missed deliveries. Order a trial meal and confirm the SFA hygiene grade (and MUIS halal certificate if relevant) before paying the package deposit.
