Overall very happy with the renovation. Pricing was very reasonable and much more affordable than most interior design firms we considered. The subcontractors were excellent — fast, responsive, and professional, with nothing to complain about. Jeff was hands-on throughout, even going to Johor Bahru with us to shop for fittings, which helped with cost savings. After-sales service was also solid — Jeff was responsive and reliable whenever we needed follow-ups. The final result turned out beautiful, as shown in the photos. Would definitely recommend.

The final outcome of our kitchen and master wardrobe renovation was mostly in line with what we had envisioned, with most of the design requests carried out as discussed and the workmanship generally good. However, the process itself was more stressful than expected. Communication slowed down quite a bit after the quotation stage, timelines stretched beyond what was first mentioned, and there wasn't a final drawing or written confirmation for some of the design changes. Because of that, a few surprises came up during installation that could have been avoided with clearer documentation. At times, discussions around those unexpected outcomes also felt more defensive than accountable, which added unnecessary tension along the way. That said, we really want to highlight their in-house carpenter. He was attentive to detail and genuinely proactive. When challenges came up on-site (like reworking the wardrobe that was initially meant to be sliding), he suggested a workable compromise by changing the hinges to 180 degrees so that we could still walk through the small walkway, which helped salvage the situation in an acceptable way. In the end they also did follow up at the last stage to check what else needed fixing and did a final check if anything was missing, which was good. Pricing wise, their quotation was lower compared to other firms, and they did extend reasonable discounts, which we appreciated. We understand our project was on the smaller side compared to full house renovations, thus might not be prioritized as much as larger projects, but we hope future clients, regardless of project size, will benefit from clearer communication and proper documentation from the start. Sharing our experience here to offer some perspective for others considering similar renovation works.

We engaged Phenix for the full renovation of our home, and overall it was a very positive experience. Phenix went the extra mile by accompanying us to JB to select tiles and furnishings, which helped us save significantly on costs. She also prepared detailed 3D drawings and patiently walked us through every element, making it easy to visualise the final outcome and understand the design intent. Many aspects of the renovation were customised to our preferences — from paint and laminate colours to appliances — and she was attentive to our needs throughout the process.
