I had my LASIK surgery done with Dr Leonard Ang at Lang Eye Centre and the experience was excellent. Dr Ang is very genuine and honest during the consultation, he was reassuring and very professional throughout the procedure. His skill and confidence made me feel very safe during the surgery. I was able to resume everything back to normal the next day and there was minimal discomfort only for a couple of hours. The result exceeded my expectation and my vision is excellent! I was referred to Lang Eye by my family. I had an initial LASIK evaluation in Sydney but was told that it’s unlikely I can have LASIK surgery due to dry eye. I flew to SG for an opinion with Dr Leonard Ang. During the LASIK evaluation, I was put through very rigorous testing to see if LASIK surgery was suitable. Their staff brought me through very detailed counselling, helping me understand my eye condition and what my surgery options are. During my consultation with Dr Ang, he said my corneas were not as thick as I would like it to be and that the shape of my corneas were not the most ideal for LASIK surgery. He recommended me to opt for epi-LASIK surgery instead - saves corneal tissue and safer for my eyes. But recovery will be slower. I heeded his advice and proceeded with epi-LASIK surgery. I admit the first couple of days weren’t the best. The tearing was pretty much non-stop but I was forewarned so I knew what I was getting myself into 😂 One week post-op, Dr Ang removed the bandaged contact lenses and immediately the eyes felt much better and the vision sharpens! I have been using glasses for the past many years and I still find myself reaching out for glasses habitually 😅 I delayed having the procedure for years and tbh, I wished I have done this earlier. Overall, I had a great epi-LASIK surgery experience with Dr Ang. I find him highly experienced, professional, and he made me feel comfortable throughout the entire surgery. Everything was explained clearly, which really put me at ease. I’m very grateful and would highly recommend Dr Ang and Lang Eye Centre for anyone who wants to have LASIK surgery 👍🏻

I had done my LASIK at LANG Eye by Dr Leonard Ang on 9 May 2024. Astig @ 350~450 and short-sighted at 300~400, Dr Leonard rejected SMILE proposal as I asked for, instead recommended LASIK due to high power. Fortunately my cornea is thick enough. After 1 and half year past, fortunately I do not have halo or any side effect so far. I do have little bit of dry eye when long hours working in front of excel, which is normal. Night sight is pretty good, better than my wife with shortsightedness 250 and astigmatism around 125 specs. Its worth and over the long term as I dont need to tackle specs after the LASIK procedure.
