When enquiring about boarding, it helps to share your pet's size, breed, and temperament upfront, as these details affect which accommodation type and care routine will suit best. Bring along up-to-date vaccination records — most reputable boarding facilities in Singapore require proof of DHPP and rabies for dogs, and FVRCP for cats, typically valid within the past 12 months. If your pet has not stayed away from home before, asking about a trial visit can help assess how well they settle into a new environment. Confirm whether drop-off and collection need to be scheduled in advance, and whether a recurring boarding schedule can be arranged for owners who travel regularly.
The most direct next step is to reach out to Lavish Pet Centre LLP via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form on their listing — share your pet's details, vaccination status, and intended boarding dates to receive an accurate quote and check availability.
Visit the facility, check the vaccination policy, and confirm insurance before drop-off.
I went there to get a pair of guinea pigs. The staff was very patient and friendly, she did not pressure us to quickly choose and buy the guinea pigs. She advice us and even let us interact with different guinea pigs, telling us different habits each Guinea pigs had, and also told us what type of guinea pig suited us. In the end we chose 2 teddy guinea pigs we named Haru and Yuki🥰
I’m so grateful to the staff for making sure he was in great health before I signed the papers to bring him home. They even took the time to trim his fur and nails, which was a nice touch! As a first-time bunny owner, I really appreciated how they guided me through the basics of bunny care and offered a discounted price bundle of essential supplies to get started — super helpful since I had no prior experience. It was also raining the day I picked him up, and one of the male staff kindly helped carry the heavy items and load them into my car, which I really appreciated. They even followed up with me during his first few days to check in and see how he was settling in. It’s only been a few weeks since I brought him home, but I already love him more than I imagined. I’m so lucky I spotted his photo in the listing and decided to bring him into my life. Can’t thank them enough for this little bundle of joy!

It’s my neighbourhood shop. I visited in June and didn’t plan to buy any honestly. I just wanted to look around and see see when I was passing by. The guy staff was very friendly, helpful , and explained every detail . All the pets are well taken care of. I decided to choose one hamster because she showed affectionate to me on first touch . Didn’t run away even though I disturbed her sleep . It’s my first hamster pet and I have a lot of questions. The store follows up on WhatsApp and answered all my questions ( till now ). Alr 4 months. I can sense their care and love on the pets . Truly appreciate it . And my baby hamster grew up well . ( can see no childhood trauma ) . She not scared of me ( since day 1) , always climb on me , play with me . Recommend this store if you want happy and healthy pets . And quality products.

Boarding rates in Singapore typically vary by pet size, breed, and the type of accommodation chosen — standard kennel, suite, or home-style room. Smaller dogs and cats generally attract lower nightly rates, while larger or more active breeds may incur a surcharge. Add-on services such as extra play sessions, grooming during the stay, or administering medication are usually priced separately. For mobile or islandwide pick-up and drop-off, a transport fee may apply depending on your location. It is advisable to request an itemised quote in writing before confirming the booking so there are no surprises on collection day. See the full pet boarding cost guide for Singapore →
Most boarding facilities in Singapore require dogs to be vaccinated against DHPP (distemper, hepatitis, parvovirus, and parainfluenza) and rabies, with both vaccines typically valid within the past 12 months. Bordetella (kennel cough) vaccination is also commonly required or strongly recommended for boarding and daycare settings where dogs are in close proximity. For cats, the standard requirement is FVRCP (feline viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus, and panleukopenia), again within 12 months. Proof of vaccination — usually a booklet or veterinary certificate — is expected at drop-off. Contact Lavish Pet Centre LLP directly to confirm their specific vaccination policy before your pet's first stay, as requirements can vary between facilities.
Pet boarding facilities in Singapore are required to hold a licence issued by the Animal and Veterinary Service (AVS) under the National Parks Board. This licence governs the standards of care, housing conditions, and hygiene that the facility must meet. However, AVS licensing is not listed among the credentials currently on file for this listing — owners should ask Lavish Pet Centre LLP directly to confirm their AVS licence status before drop-off. On the insurance side, it is worth asking whether the centre carries coverage for incidents such as pet injury or illness during the stay, and what the protocol is if your pet requires veterinary attention while boarding. Visit the facility, check the vaccination policy, and confirm insurance before drop-off.
