I had a really good experience with this O Level Physics tuition. The teacher is very patient, friendly, and genuinely cares about whether students understand the concepts. Whenever I was confused, they would take the time to explain things again in a simple and clear way without making me feel stressed. Lessons were comfortable and easy to follow, which helped me gain confidence in Physics. With their guidance, my grades improved from a B3 to an A1, and I’m very thankful for the support.
My physics teacher Mr Loh is slow and methodical, sometimes unnecessarily clear, but that’s helped drill many formulas and answering techniques into my A1 physics results. Mr Loh also adapts to students of different learning speeds, ensuring every student is learning at the pace comfortable and most effective to us. What surprised me was that there was absolutely no lesson script, Mr Loh *geniunely* takes the time and effort to answer whatever bullshit question i hurl at him during and outside of lessons lmao.
Mr loh, helped me go from a F9 student to a B3 in o level. His patience and passion for teaching made me start to grow fond of studying physics. He is able to explain difficult and confusing concepts, by using many different examples. He always tries his best to lift up every students spirits even amidst our o levels period.
Mr Kenneth Loh is a very patient and good teacher who has always been patient and passionate when teaching me. The notes provided are very detailed and easy to understand. I have always been using the notes provided instead of my school textbook. He has helped me maintain my physics scores at A1.
Mr Loh really goes the extra mile to teach. The lessons have improved my understanding of physics and made me more confident of my work. He explains every question in the practice papers he prepared in great detail, which allowed me to gain a much better understanding. He always made sure that we are able to grasp the concept and follow his explanations. Because of this, I was able to score a B3 in my O levels, which was a huge improvement from my F9 in sec 3 when I first joined. Not only is Mr Loh very patient, he is also very encouraging. All lessons are well-structured and it was definitely the best decision to join Learning For Keeps👍

Whether Learning for Keeps offers a formal trial class, and at what cost, is not confirmed in the current listing — contact the centre directly via WhatsApp or phone to ask before assuming one is available. When attending a trial session, look at how the tutor explains concepts, whether the pace and level suit your child, and how the group size feels. A good fit means your child is neither lost nor under-challenged, and that the teaching style complements how they learn at school. Bringing along a recent school test or assignment can help the tutor quickly assess your child's current standing and suggest the most appropriate class group.
Tutor qualifications were not detailed in the listing provided. When speaking with Learning for Keeps, it is reasonable to ask whether tutors hold a degree in the relevant subject, whether any have an NIE teaching qualification or prior MOE classroom experience, and how long each tutor has been teaching the specific syllabus they handle. For key examination subjects — particularly those tied to PSLE, O-Level, or A-Level syllabuses — ask whether the tutor is familiar with current MOE marking rubrics and recent examination trends. This is especially relevant if your child is sitting a major examination within the next one to two years. If credentials cannot be confirmed before enrolment, the trial class is your most practical opportunity to assess teaching quality directly.
