Prospective students or parents should enquire about level and syllabus fit — whether the focus is PSLE, DSA, secondary school entry, or other admissions-related preparation — before committing. It is worth confirming whether classes are conducted in small groups or on a one-to-one basis, whether a trial class is available, and how the curriculum aligns with current MOE syllabi or target school requirements. Term commitment length and whether sessions are held in-centre at Upper Thomson or offered online are also worth clarifying at the point of enquiry.
To get started, contact Learning Point directly via phone or the enquiry form to check current class availability, confirm which programme matches your child's level and goal, and ask about a trial class before signing up for a full term.
Take the trial class and confirm the tutor's actual credentials before committing to a term.
Before joining learning point, one of my initial struggles was answering comprehension questions accurately. Learning Point provides great tips and compre techniques which has helped give me a sense of direction whenever i come across compre! Through the programme, I have definitely seen improvement in terms of knowing how to answer the questions, as well as developing a stronger grasp of the fundamentals when it comes to continuous writing in a cohesive, structured manner. What makes LP so special is the learning environment! The lessons are engaging and enjoyable, and the ‘current buzz’ segment in every lesson really helped me broaden my general knowledge and strengthen content development. Continually, the class encourages students to write freely and develop their own individual voice! I also want to add that my teacher Mrs Lee Jo Ann was consistently supportive and encouraging not only academically, but also in checking in on students’ overall well-being, making learning fun and enjoyable at the same time. I think this holistic approach rlly makes LP meaningful and empowering.
My child has been with Teacher En Tong for the past year for P3 Math and we really appreciate her dedication in teaching, putting in extra time and effort to make sure the weaker students could follow up with the class. My child really enjoyed her classes. Would be better if the centre is more understanding and flexible with their terms and conditions though..
Both my children were taught by teacher En Tong, and they really enjoyed her lessons and showed clear improvement during the time with her. While my younger child did not do as well as expected, En Tong genuinely did her best and was very dedicated and supportive. The centre staff are helpful and approachable as well. I would be happy to enrol my youngest child with her again in the future and hope my last child will get the chance to learn under her one day.
Happy Teacher’s Day! As a parent, I just want to extend my deepest thanks for the care, dedication, and guidance the teachers have given to my child through the tuition sessions. The support has made a tremendous difference — not just in academics, but in my child’s overall confidence and attitude toward learning. We’ve seen the progress, the growing curiosity, and the renewed motivation, and we know that much of it is because of the teachers' patience, encouragement, and consistent effort. They’ve been more than just a tutor — they've been a mentor and a positive influence in our child’s life. Wishing you a well-deserved Happy Teacher’s Day, filled with the appreciation and respect you’ve so truly earned. Warm regards, Yang Dazhi

Learning Point does not publicly list its session rates, but its pricing is indicated at the mid-range tier ($$). Test prep and admissions tuition in Singapore typically ranges from S$50–120 per session for group classes and S$80–200 for one-to-one tuition, depending on the student's level and the subject focus. When enquiring, ask whether fees are charged per session or as a monthly or term package, whether there is a separate trial class fee, and whether materials or resources are included. Sibling discounts or package rates for multiple subjects may also be available. See the full Test Prep & Admissions cost guide for Singapore →
Many tuition centres in Singapore offer a trial class — either free or at a nominal fee — before requiring term commitment. Contact Learning Point directly to confirm whether a trial session is available for your child's level and the specific programme you are interested in. A trial class is useful for assessing whether the teaching pace and style suit your child, whether the class level is appropriate, and whether the group size allows sufficient individual attention. It is advisable to sit in on or debrief with your child after the trial before paying for a full term.
Learning Point's specific tutor qualifications are not listed publicly. When enquiring, it is reasonable to ask whether tutors have an NIE-trained or MOE teaching background, their academic qualifications, and how many years they have been teaching the relevant subject and level. For test prep and admissions preparation, it is also worth confirming that the syllabus coverage is current and aligned with the specific examination or admissions assessment your child is preparing for — whether that is PSLE, DSA portfolios, IP school entry, or other pathways. If tutor credentials matter to your decision, ask for this information directly before booking.
