Families considering Learning Voyage would typically begin by enquiring about level and syllabus fit — whether the centre supports MOE primary, secondary, or junior college syllabuses, or international curricula such as IGCSE, IB, or AP. It is worth clarifying whether classes are conducted in small groups or on a one-to-one basis, as this affects both pace and pricing. Ask about any trial class arrangement, the term commitment expected, and whether sessions are held at the Hougang Street 21 centre or available online. The centre is accessible via the address at Blk 212 Hougang St 21, with entry on the second level from the carpark.
The most direct next step is to reach out via WhatsApp, phone, or the online enquiry form to confirm subject availability, class size, and scheduling options for your child's level before reserving a place.
Take the trial class and confirm the tutor's actual credentials before committing to a term.
Mr Andy has taught me since sec 2 and throughout my years at learning voyage, he has always been extremely patient, supportive and understanding. When i first joined in sec 2, math was one of my weakest subjects and i was constantly failing. However, in just one year, my math grade improved from an F9 to an A1 for my eoys. Even for Amath which i had consistently been scoring F9s for since the beginning of sec 3, Mr Andy never gave up on me. He even let me stay back whenever i needed help and would always respond quickly whenever i had a question, even when i was studying past midnight. With his guidance and unwavering support, i eventually achieved an A2 for Emath and passed Amath for the first time with a b4 for O levels. I am truly grateful for his dedication and encouragement.
I entered secondary school with an F9 in Mathematics in Sec 1, and I struggled greatly with understanding key concepts. Mr Andy’s unique teaching style, especially his ability to pinpoint my specific weaknesses, helped me rebuild my foundation step by step. He explains concepts clearly, patiently revisits mistakes, and ensures I truly understand rather than memorise. With his guidance and consistent support, I was able to improve significantly and eventually achieve a B3 in both E-Math and A-Math.Thank you Mr Andy for all your help!!!
Tutor Andy Woo was recommended to us through family friend whom children scored well for maths and A maths. He is very experienced, patient and able to engage my son in maths. My son loved to be under his guidance and can follow through different maths concept. I will definitely recommend any student who would like to improve his or her maths to be under his coaching 😊 Thank you Andy!
Teacher Andy is a very encouraging and dedicating teacher as he always kept on asking me if I needed any help with my work as he saw me struggling with questions that I could not anwser. I have been with him since Secondary 1 and my grades in mathematics since young had always been quite bad. But when I joined his Center my grades had gradually started to become better and eventually I had gotten a Two on my N-levels, making me very proud and enthusiastic as I have improved so much thanks to teacher Andy and his hardwork and dedication for teaching me. He is a very reliable teacher as he will help you with questions even when you are not there physically as he can always help you through online.
My daughter was with Learning Voyage since Secondary 1. Under Mr Andy's guidance, she able to understand Mathematics concepts and its applications on top of following the school's academic with greater interest. Mr Andy's patience puts my daughter at ease so that she can raise questions (in class or after) and approach him to change her sessions due to school commitments. My daughter was able to walk into 2025 O level examination hall with confidence and grace, knowing that there are so many people what support and love her.

Learning Voyage is positioned at the mid-range price tier for Singapore tuition centres, though specific per-session or monthly package rates are not publicly listed and should be confirmed directly with the centre. Tuition fees in Singapore are typically structured as a monthly package tied to a fixed number of sessions per week, or occasionally as a per-session rate for more flexible arrangements. It is common for centres to charge a separate materials or assessment fee at the start of a term, and some offer sibling discounts for families enrolling more than one child. A trial class, if available, may be charged at the standard session rate or offered at a reduced fee. Always clarify whether fees cover printed materials and practice papers, or whether these are billed separately. See the full tuition centre cost guide for Singapore →
Many tuition centres in Singapore offer a trial class for new students before requiring a term commitment, and it is worth asking Learning Voyage directly whether this option is available and whether there is a fee attached. A trial session gives your child the opportunity to experience the teaching style, gauge whether the pace and level are appropriate, and see how they interact with the tutor and classmates. When evaluating the trial, pay attention to whether the tutor explains concepts clearly, whether your child appears engaged rather than lost or under-challenged, and whether the class size allows for meaningful individual attention. Use the session as an opportunity to ask the tutor about their approach to exam technique and how they track each student's progress over a term.
Specific tutor credentials for Learning Voyage are not publicly listed at this time, and families are encouraged to ask directly about each tutor's educational background, teaching experience, and familiarity with the relevant syllabus — whether MOE PSLE, O-Level, A-Level, or an international curriculum such as IGCSE or IB. Tutors with prior NIE training or classroom teaching experience in MOE schools often bring strong syllabus alignment and exam-readiness strategies. When speaking with the centre, it is reasonable to ask how long individual tutors have been with the programme, whether the same tutor takes your child throughout the term, and what the process is if a tutor change becomes necessary. Consistency of instruction tends to have a meaningful impact on a student's progress, particularly in preparation for national examinations.
