I had a profoundly disappointing encounter at Lee and Tan Family Clinic and Surgery today, the eve of the Chinese New Year. In the aftermath of a minor accident last night, I urgently required medical attention and decided to address a lingering flu and cough as well. Despite the convenience of the location, my visit to the clinic quickly turned into a regrettable ordeal. I called the clinic 10 minutes prior to my arrival to confirm availability, only to be met with impatience and a rush to hurry up, despite the clinic supposedly closing at 3:30 PM according to Google. Upon arrival, the administrative process proceeded oddly, with the staff unusually thorough in explaining consultation and medication charges. While initially appreciative of their transparency, it became apparent that this was not indicative of their professionalism. The real disappointment came during my consultation with Dr. Lee Yik Voon. Instead of listening patiently to my medical concerns, he displayed blatant rudeness and impatience. His demeanor suggested a lack of empathy and understanding, treating me dismissively and disrespectfully. Despite articulating my condition clearly, he repeatedly interrupted and questioned me as if I were incompetent. In just a few minutes, Dr. Lee managed to convey an utter lack of suitability for his profession. As a patient seeking care, I expect compassion, patience, and understanding from medical practitioners. Regrettably, he failed to meet even the most basic standards of professionalism and human decency. Feeling utterly disrespected and unsafe under his care, I promptly informed him of my decision to seek medical attention elsewhere. Reflecting on the experience, I am dismayed that I did not heed the warnings evident in the negative Google reviews. While some may commend the quality of medication provided, I strongly caution against visiting this clinic. Singapore boasts world-class healthcare facilities, and there are undoubtedly superior options available. My encounter at Lee and Tan Family Clinic and Surgery serves as a stark reminder that reputation and online reviews are often indicative of the true quality of service. In conclusion, I implore others to steer clear of this clinic, as no one deserves to be treated with such disdain and disrespect, especially when seeking medical care.

I have been there a few times because it’s my company’s doc. So far so good and recommended my daughter there. We just moved here and seen a few daughters around circuit area. It is more expensive but the medication that they provide are certain better than many of the doc around my area. I rather pay for a prescription that I don’t have to come back a few times for more. What you pay is what you get. Nurses are nice overall. Don’t have to wait too long.

It was my first visit and I was informed that the clinic's prices are relatively high. Despite this, I decided to proceed, as they were the only available option during off-peak hours. I presented my IC and Civil Service Card (CSC) to one of the assistants, expecting to benefit from a subsidised cost. The doctor's consultation left a positive impression, as he displayed professionalism and competence. However, a significant amount of time was spent preparing my medication, which struck me as odd considering I was the only patient present at the time. Upon reaching the payment stage, another clinic assistant took charge. Surprisingly, I was charged without the expected implementation of the subsidised costs. This led me to inquire about the discrepancy, as I had already provided my CSC card earlier. The assistant's response was less than satisfactory; she suggested I manually adjust the payment with my receipt instead of promptly rectifying the situation. This incident made me reflect on the potential impact such lapses in administrative procedures can have on the clinic's reputation, despite the doctor's commendable performance. It serves as a reminder: - Always double-check and ensure that your receipt accurately reflects any entitled subsidies before finalising payment - Be mindful that the clinic's prices tend to be on the higher side - I am ok if the clinic wants to charge higher prices but if the service and processes is not comparable with the high prices then it is not right While my experience with the doctor was positive, the overall impression was marred by administrative inefficiencies that could affect the clinic's reputation.

Very expensive. The receptionist quoted me one price before consultation. After I saw the doctor, the receptionist asked me to pay a higher amount. When I referred to the price she had quoted me earlier, she said that that did not include the 'practice costs'. I refused to pay and said I will pay what she quoted earlier. She did not accept. So I refused to pay. The experience with the doctor was also not good. He wanted to prescribe very strong medication. I told him I would rather not take the medication but let my body fight the infection, but I would need bed rest and asked for 2 days MC. He said that since I don't want to take the medication, he will only give me 1 day MC and I will need to come back next day for another MC. I left the clinic and went to polyclinic, where the doctor gave me very light medication and 3 days MC.

Doctor expertise is ok but he would'nt hear me out. Service was very very slow! I came at 8+ only to wait until 11pm!! I had to wait 1 hour for them to dispensed the medication. Reception was doing their work wrongly and doctor was scolding them in front of patients which was very unprofessional. Wanted to pay using my child's baby bonus and they were very unhappy with it saying that have not registered with them before when i had went there at least 4 to 5 times before.
