Ler Clinic and Surgery Tampines is a general practice clinic located at Tampines Palmwalk, serving patients in the Tampines area and beyond. The clinic has been verified by KakiList, though no ACRA registration or MOH Healthcare Services Licence has been confirmed in the data available. It holds a 4/5 rating across 21 Google reviews — a moderate but still limited sample, so treat this as directional rather than definitive. Pricing is indicated at the mid-range ($$) on a per-visit basis, in line with typical GP consultation fees of S$25–60 before GST and medications.
As a GP clinic, Ler Clinic and Surgery Tampines is suited to everyday primary care needs — acute illness, minor injuries, chronic disease monitoring, and referrals to specialist or restructured hospital care where required. Patients managing chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, or hyperlipidaemia may be able to access treatment under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP), which allows MediSave 500 or 700 withdrawal for qualifying outpatient visits. For specialist consultations, a referral letter from the GP to a public hospital Specialist Outpatient Clinic (SOC) can reduce the first-consult fee to S$30–80 for Singapore Citizens with a subsidy, though non-urgent waits of four to twelve weeks are common. Integrated Shield Plan holders should check whether private GP claims require pre-authorisation under their specific plan.
To book an appointment or enquire about consultation availability, contact Ler Clinic and Surgery Tampines directly by phone before visiting, particularly during peak morning hours when waiting times at GP clinics tend to be longest.

Dr Ler is patient and very experienced. She explained various types of blood test available; and which one is suitable for me before letting me decides what I want. Dr Ler follow-up with test results promptly. Recent toilet upgrades in clinic made the urine test a breeze and user friendly especially for old folks/elderly patients. Nurses very helpful and friendly - keep up the good job!
My grandma went for consultation over here. The counter staff and herself are very caring, calling for follow up and ensure we had take relevant actions at our end. Thank you so much. Also came to Dr Ler by myself before - felt comfortable despite i’m sick. Thank you again.
If there is a negative star review, i would have given a negative 10. Doctor is so rude to staff and also patients. Medicine didnt even help my son. The next day i have to go visit another doctor to get a better cream. She gave a Himalayan cream where i can get at watson. Waiting time was so slow. She asked me to wait at the back for my son’s swab test but she attended other patients first, when my son is already crying! She even told the staff to not worry about my kid as the mother is there to take care of him. What kind of doctor are you? Don’t talk about the cost. Even with CHAS card, i am paying so much more compared to other clinic. NEVER RETURNING TO THIS CLINIC AGAIN. So what if she has been in the clinic for more than 20 years. Her attitude really sucks big time!
Have been frequenting this clinic for close to 20 years, since secondary school days. Doctor Ler has been very patient during consultation and would give detailed advices on recovering. I feel comfortable with her being my GP. The staffs there are friendly and informative as well when I enquired on certain treatments. Highly recommended.
Dr Ler is nice but the Art swab done by her is by far the most painful one I’ve ever had. Over 2 years I’ve done many by myself and also by healthcare professionals but dr Ler goes in the deepest (without turning). I was going to let it go and until I saw blood in my boogie the next day. My nostril felt very raw after the swab and it’s a first for me to bleed after art test. I honestly doubt the accuracy of the test is enhanced by the depth of the swab. Having done a gentler one by myself earlier on, it was the same result as the clinic’s. Deeper is not better in this case. Most official guidelines will say the swab need not be painful. Discomfort is expected but not pain. It’s either the dr doesn’t have the right technique and skill or one confuses depth with accuracy. For all who needs a swab test, best to go to another clinic as it’s unnecessary to endure such pain.

GP consultations at private and GP-panel clinics in Singapore typically run S$25–60 per visit, with the final amount varying by presenting condition, duration, and any investigations or medications dispensed. On top of the consultation fee, expect additional charges for blood tests (S$60–200 depending on the panel), X-rays (S$80–150), and prescriptions — these are billed separately and are not always included in the headline consultation rate. GST applies on private medical services. For planned investigations or procedures, request a written breakdown of costs before agreeing to proceed. MediSave can be used under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP) for qualifying chronic conditions, with withdrawal limits of S$500–700 per year for outpatient care. No MOH Healthcare Services Licence or Singapore Medical Council (SMC) registration has been confirmed in the data currently available for Ler Clinic and Surgery Tampines. Every legitimate GP clinic in Singapore is required to hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence under the Healthcare Services Act, and every practising doctor must be registered on the SMC public register at smc.gov.sg — both are searchable online by clinic name and doctor name respectively. Before booking, take a moment to search the clinic name on the MOH licensee directory and the attending doctor's name on the SMC register. This confirms registration status, any specialist accreditation, and whether there is any disciplinary record. Neither check takes more than a few minutes and is a reasonable step for any clinic where licence data is not yet publicly confirmed. Verify the doctor's name on the Singapore Medical Council register and the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before booking, and for any planned procedure request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.
Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) layered on MediShield Life typically cover private specialist consultations, day surgery, and inpatient stays, subject to each plan's deductible, co-insurance, and rider terms. Standard GP outpatient visits are generally not covered by IPs unless the plan includes a specific outpatient or GP rider — check your policy documents or call your insurer to confirm before assuming coverage. MediSave withdrawals for outpatient GP visits are permitted under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP) for listed chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidaemia, asthma, COPD, stroke, and selected mental health conditions, with annual withdrawal limits of S$500 (standard) or S$700 (higher limit for qualifying conditions). If you are managing a CDMP-listed condition, ask the clinic whether it is a CDMP-accredited provider. For any planned investigation or procedure, request a written cost estimate split by insurance, MediSave, and out-of-pocket portions before proceeding.
