About Liang Clinic East Coast

About Liang Clinic East Coast

Liang Clinic East Coast is a general practice clinic located at Siglap Centre on the East Coast, serving patients across Singapore. KakiList has verified the operating details and contact channels. The clinic holds a 3.5/5 rating across 54 Google reviews — a moderate sample size, though the below-average score warrants consideration. No regulatory licences are currently listed in this directory entry, and ACRA registration has not been confirmed; prospective patients are encouraged to verify the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence and the consulting doctor's Singapore Medical Council registration before booking.

For a first visit to a GP clinic, patients typically walk in or call ahead to check queue times. Bring your NRIC or passport, your MediSave card, and any existing medication lists or referral letters. The consultation covers presenting symptoms, examination, and where necessary, onward referral to a specialist or polyclinic. If you hold an Integrated Shield Plan, confirm whether the clinic is on your insurer's panel — this affects direct billing eligibility. Chronic Disease Management Programme coverage applies to listed conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, and hyperlipidaemia, allowing MediSave withdrawal of up to S$700 per year for outpatient treatment at CDMP-registered clinics.

Contact Liang Clinic East Coast by phone or via the online enquiry form to check consultation hours, queue availability, or to ask whether the clinic participates in CDMP or specific insurer panels before your visit.

Dr Justin is a gentleman and an excellent GP who my family have used for over 12 years. The two ladies on reception are the efficient, friendly and make the whole experience of attending the GP a pleasant experience.

Dr Liang is very good, caring and helpful with sympathy. But those two nurses, don’t know where they are from. Always very rude to patience. What they thought were always close clinic earlier so that they could go back home earlier. You cannot find such staff anywhere else.

This was my first visit to the clinic and the receptionist was polite and professional while she helped to register me. There was no one waiting so I went straight in. Dr Leong was very caring and friendly. He talked through everything with me and I didn't feel rushed at all. I will definitely be using this clinic as my first choice from now on.

I went there for the first time, since my doctor was on leave, and I found Doctor Justin very accommodating, friendly, bright, confident and competent. The receptionist and nurses are also very fast at dealing with patients and efficient. One auntie is very friendly and positive, and the other one maybe more hasty and direct, but I didn't find any rudeness as per other reviews.

I find Dr Justin competent and professional. Would continue visiting EXCEPT I have no idea why he keeps the two aunties as receptionists. They go all out to be customer unfriendly…even telling me to go to another clinic because the price is cheaper…extremely unprofessional. Treats my helper with no dignity, talking down to her. From reviews here, looks like they choose to be nice to expats only. Overall unacceptable behaviour! Will not return unless they are gone…when I am already sick, I don’t need to deal with hostile aunties who think they own the practice. Madness.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Liang Clinic East Coast charge?

GP consultation fees at private clinics in Singapore typically run S$25–60 per visit, with after-hours or weekend consultations often attracting a surcharge. On top of the consultation, common add-ons include medications (S$5–30 for short-course prescriptions), a medical certificate, basic investigations such as a urine dipstick or blood glucose test, and vaccinations (S$30–80 per jab). GST applies on private medical services. For any planned investigation or procedure, ask for an itemised breakdown before proceeding so you can assess MediSave and insurance eligibility. Is Liang Clinic East Coast MOH-licensed and how do I verify the doctor?

Every legitimate clinic must hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence under the Healthcare Services Act — verifiable on the MOH licensee directory at moh.gov.sg. Every practising doctor must appear on the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) public register at smc.gov.sg; search by name to confirm registration status and check for any disciplinary history. No licences are currently listed in this directory entry for Liang Clinic East Coast, so we recommend verifying both the clinic licence and the named doctor's SMC entry directly before booking. Neither the MOH clinic licence nor the SMC registration alone is sufficient — both should be confirmed.

How do I use MediSave or insurance at Liang Clinic East Coast?

MediSave can be used for outpatient treatment at GP clinics participating in the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP), allowing withdrawal of up to S$700 per year for listed conditions including hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidaemia, asthma, and others. General outpatient MediSave withdrawal is capped at S$500 per year for non-CDMP visits at approved clinics. Confirm whether Liang Clinic East Coast is CDMP-registered before your visit if you intend to use this scheme. If you hold an Integrated Shield Plan (IP) layered on MediShield Life, check whether the clinic is on your insurer's panel for direct billing — otherwise you will need to pay upfront and submit a claim manually. For any planned procedure, request a written financial counselling estimate splitting insurance, MediSave, and out-of-pocket portions before proceeding.
