A standard consultation covers presenting symptoms, examination, prescriptions, and referral letters to a specialist or polyclinic where clinically indicated. Singaporeans and PRs with a polyclinic or GP referral letter can access restructured hospital specialist outpatient clinics at subsidised rates of S$30–80, though non-urgent waits of 4–12 weeks are common. Self-referred private specialist consultations run S$120–250 for a first appointment. Heard so many good reviews from my sister about this clinic and I brought my helper for the routine medical checkup yesterday. We were warmly welcome and greeted by the two friendly and lovely ladies at the front counter. They are so gentle and patient. Dr Lim was also very gentle and professional. Overall very satisfied with the service attended especially the doctor and staff at the clinic. Keep it up with the good work and Awesome attitude! 👍

I went here few days ago as i was having a very bad case of flu and cough. Wait to see the doctor was decent, about 15 mins. However, i only went in and out of the doctor’s room within 3 mins. I was having very bad sore throat which lasts a week, and is still is. I was also having very bad cough. Doctor that saw me didnt even bother checking me thoroughly as “oh its the common flu going around, normal”. He checked my throat, it was definitely red and said normal, nothing. He also told me to gargle with salt water. And what medicine did i get for my bbad sore throat? Just lozenges. He also didnt bother to listen to my lungs throughly as he only used the stethoscope to listen just twice. Other doctos would at least pause and at least try to listen. He didnt. It’s not the usual doctor that i see when i usually go to this clinic, its a filipino doctor which i think i shouldnt say his name here. Up till now, the medicine he gave i feel are not working because i am getting worse. Idk pls fix your service. I had no problems with the receptionist as they were nice and friendly. But i cant be paying $62 for this..

the receptionists were very friendly, but my consultation experience with the doctor was disappointing. i visited a week ago for a headache that had persisted for about three days. i had mistakenly referred to it as a “migraine” as i had misunderstood the term. the doctor asked what i had taken for the pain & i mentioned that i had been using panadol. instead of asking further questions about my pain, its frequency, etc., he immediately concluded that i had wrongly self-diagnosed myself. he went on to lecture me for 2 minutes about misusing the word “migraine” & how it could affect my insurance applications in the future. i found this unnecessary as the focus of the consultation shifted entirely away from my actual condition. i felt as though the doctor was undermining my pain & not taking my concerns seriously, making the entire consultation feel dismissive. there was no attempt to understand or address the reason for my visit. while i understand that doctors may want to correct misconceptions, it could have been done in a more respectful and constructive manner. this is my 2nd visit to the same clinic with the same doctor. a similar thing happened the last time, doctor dismissed my symptoms as a ‘viral flu’ at that time when i had expressed multiple times that it was my 3rd time falling sick with the same illness in the span of 1 month - which i didn’t think was normal. overall, the doctor’s consistently dismissive attitude is very off-putting & i don’t think i’ll be coming back again.

This clinic has two 5 stars reviews. While the receptions are very helpful, I was very disappointed with the doctor on duty this evening. I had severe nose congestion and could hardly breathe. He didn’t even take a look at my nose nor ears. He was going to prescribe me Clarityn which I told him was more for runny nose rather than congested nose. I told him for congested nose i may need Clarityn D. He then confirm with me that Clarityn D will work faster and agreed to write me a prescription. After collecting my medication, I confirm with the nurse if Dr Daniel is going to write me that prescription? He sounded confused and mentioned that he already gave me the medication. The nurse then verify with him again if he agrees to write the prescription? It’s very disappointing to see a doctor not recalling what he intended to do because he was more interested chatting on his mobile rather than do what he had trained so hard for so many years i.e To help and save people. I often look at doctor with upmost respect but after today, I realised they are no different. There are really good ones and then there are the others. Disappointing

My family & I have consulted Dr Lim, Dr Dominic & Dr Audrey. All are very nice and caring doctors. Very knowledgeable and professional too. The clinic assistants are also very kind and professional, unlike other clinics whose assistants can be quite cranky. Location is quite hidden at the moment due to the construction at the side, but still good location as it is right at CCK MRT/LRT.

Common add-ons include blood tests (S$60–200 depending on panel), urine tests, and dressings or wound care. GST applies on private medical services. Is Life Vista Medical Clinic Choa Chu Kang MOH-licensed and how do I verify the doctor?

No regulatory licences have been confirmed in this listing. Every legitimate clinic is required to hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence issued under the Healthcare Services Act — verifiable on the MOH licensee directory at moh.gov.sg. Every practising doctor must also appear on the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) public register at smc.gov.sg, which shows registration status, any specialist accreditation, and disciplinary history. Given that neither an MOH clinic licence nor SMC registration appears in the current listing data, we recommend confirming both directly with the clinic before booking. Verify the named consulting doctor's SMC entry and request the clinic's licence number — legitimate operators will provide both without hesitation.

How do I use MediSave or insurance at Life Vista Medical Clinic Choa Chu Kang?

MediSave can be used for outpatient treatment at GP clinics enrolled in approved MOM and MOH schemes, with withdrawal limits of up to S$500 per year for general outpatient use and up to S$700 per year under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP) for listed conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, high cholesterol, asthma, and stroke. Confirm whether this clinic is a CDMP-enrolled provider before your visit, as not all GP clinics participate. Integrated Shield Plans layered on MediShield Life generally do not cover outpatient GP visits unless the plan includes an outpatient rider — check your policy. For any planned referral involving day surgery or specialist care, request a pre-treatment financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance, MediSave, and cash portions in writing before committing to the procedure.
