About Lifeline Medical Group Bukit Panjang

About Lifeline Medical Group Bukit Panjang

Lifeline Medical Group Bukit Panjang is a general practice clinic located at 103 Gangsa Road in the Bukit Panjang area, listed under GP & 24-Hour Clinics on KakiList. For a first visit, patients typically walk in or call ahead to check queue times. A GP consultation covers presenting symptoms, clinical examination, and where indicated, referral for investigations or onward referral to a specialist via a polyclinic or GP referral letter — the latter unlocks subsidised rates at public hospital Specialist Outpatient Clinics for Singapore Citizens. Prescription medications are dispensed on-site. Patients intending to claim under an Integrated Shield Plan or use MediSave for CDMP-listed chronic conditions should confirm the clinic's participation in those schemes directly before the visit.

To make an appointment or check same-day queue availability, contact the clinic by phone at the number listed on this page. Listing data is incomplete — contact Lifeline Medical Group Bukit Panjang directly to confirm details.

Went in for the second time today after 3 years, still the worst experience with the worst doctor you can find - Alan Chin. Extremely disrespectful and dismisses all concerns, only tries to wrap up the consultation quickly for his own benefit. Not to mention the waste of money for consultation fees which are higher than at other clinics. Never visit this clinic if you have other options. Would give 0 starts if it were possible.

Funny how people mentioned Dr Alan Chin is arrogant etc. Dr Alan has been my family’s preferred go to doctor for more than 25 years when we’re sick. He saved my life once when i was misdiagnosed at many clinics for gastro problems, but he immediately diagnosed me with appendicitis and sent me for surgery asap because it has been a week. I’d recommend Dr Alan anytime, you don’t have to like his face, eyes or attitude etc. Imho I would prefer a good doctor that’s arrogant than a clueless one who’s soft and kind.

Dr Alan Chin has 42 years of clinical practice. He is an excellent family physician who practices what he preaches. How many doctors do you know who can knock out 100 pulllups? 💪

Absolute horrible experience. I went there with my wife today. As soon as we walked in, Dr. Alan Chin asked us 'what do you have?'. No hello, no please take a seat nothing.. he was in such a rush to finish. He is so intimidating that my wife forgot to mention certain symptoms before I reminded. Very rude and doesn't make patients comfortable at all. Will not go there again. The doctor at the Chong & Lim clinic right next to this Lifeline clinic is much better. He is kind and is willing to spend time with you to understand your issues. Try to avoid Lifeline clinic if you have a choice.

Doctor was rude and rough when conducting blood taking procedure, to the extend that he hurt my nerves and caused a sharp piercing pain up my arm. He is unapologetic despite my sudden jerk action. Called back the clinic the next day to report my nerve pain but the clinic ladies just said it is normal etc. I certainly do not think it is normal, but since the clinic has no empathy, I do not think there is a need to further consult them.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Lifeline Medical Group Bukit Panjang charge?

GP consultations at private clinics in Singapore typically run S$25–60, with follow-up visits slightly lower. Common add-ons billed separately include blood panels (S$60–200), urine tests, X-rays (S$80–150), prescriptions, and medical certificates. GST applies on private medical services. Lifeline Medical Group Bukit Panjang's exact fee schedule has not been confirmed in the available listing data — call ahead to confirm the current consultation rate, especially if you plan to pay via MediSave or claim under an Integrated Shield Plan. For planned investigations, ask for a written estimate upfront so you know the out-of-pocket portion before proceeding. See the full GP & 24-Hour Clinics cost guide for Singapore →

Is Lifeline Medical Group Bukit Panjang MOH-licensed and how do I verify the doctor?

Every legitimate clinic operating in Singapore must hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence under the Healthcare Services Act — verifiable on the MOH licensee directory at moh.gov.sg. Every practising doctor must appear on the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) public register at smc.gov.sg, where you can confirm their registration status, any specialist accreditation, and disciplinary history. No licences have been confirmed in the current listing data for Lifeline Medical Group Bukit Panjang. Before booking, verify the clinic's MOH licence on the MOH directory and confirm the consulting doctor's name and SMC registration number. Neither alone is sufficient — both should be in order. Verify the doctor's name on the Singapore Medical Council register and the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before booking, and for any planned procedure request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.

How do I use MediSave or insurance at Lifeline Medical Group Bukit Panjang?

MediSave can be used for selected outpatient consultations under the S$500/year general outpatient withdrawal limit, and up to S$700/year for chronic conditions covered under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP) — including hypertension, diabetes, lipid disorders, asthma, stroke, and selected mental health conditions. Confirm with the clinic whether it is a CDMP-accredited practice before your visit, as not all GP clinics participate. Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) layered on MediShield Life generally cover inpatient and day-surgery costs rather than routine GP visits, though some riders extend to outpatient specialist care. For any planned referral or procedure, request a written financial counselling estimate from the clinic or receiving hospital that clearly splits insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before committing. Skipping this step is the most common reason patients are surprised by their final bill.
