This is my second time sending my kids to the Little Cookhouse. My kids had fun. The place is cozy. The instructions were clear. The results were amazing :). I can't believe they successfully constructed the watermelon cat cake! Will definitely enroll again next year!
A very innovative way of education. The teacher is well prepared with a coherent teaching concept. A small reading before baking, then hands-on practice. Kids are occupied during 1.5 hours. I've been living in Australia for a while and hoping that I can find a similar teaching concept in Singapore. The little cookhouse is able to beautifully delivered the concept. My girl had travelled the world, and tried other places but she totally enjoyed the activity here. She was the first to arrive, the last to leave, and saying she wants to come back.
With clear demonstration and simple step-by-step instructions, I could see my child learning the basics of baking while also enjoying the session. Truly appreciate the teachers reminding parents that the product does not need to be perfect, and instead to give the child their own space to figure out and take ownership of their work. Looking forward to future sessions from Little Cookhouse!
My daughter had an absolutely wonderful time at the kids' baking class! The teacher was so warm, patient, friendly and engaging, making sure each child felt involved and excited about the process. The class was very well-organized. The best part? They came home with delicious treats that we all enjoyed! Highly recommend this class for any young aspiring bakers!
Really great experience for both kids and adults to learn about sustainability. We especially like the process of harvesting our own pandan leaves and making it into pancakes. Staffs are also patient, friendly and attentive to our needs.

Little Cookhouse lists its pricing at the mid-range ($$) tier, but specific per-session, monthly package, or term fees are not publicly displayed. Singapore enrichment classes typically range from S$30 to S$80 or more per session depending on the subject, group size, and instructor credentials. A trial class fee, if offered, is often lower than the standard session rate. It is worth asking whether materials or ingredients are included in the fee, and whether sibling discounts or term-bundle packages are available. Confirm the full cost in writing before committing to a block booking. See the full enrichment classes cost guide for Singapore →
Many enrichment providers in Singapore offer a trial class at a reduced or standard session rate, and it is reasonable to ask Little Cookhouse whether this is available before signing up for a full term. A trial gives your child a chance to experience the teaching style, pacing, and group dynamic first-hand. During the trial, pay attention to whether the content matches your child's age and ability level, how the instructor manages the class, and whether your child is engaged throughout. These factors matter more than the physical setup when assessing long-term fit. Contact Little Cookhouse directly via WhatsApp or phone to ask about trial class availability and any associated cost.
Specific tutor credentials for Little Cookhouse are not listed in the available information. When enquiring, it is worth asking about the instructor's educational background, any NIE or MOE teaching experience, years in the classroom or enrichment setting, and familiarity with the relevant syllabus — whether that is the MOE primary or secondary curriculum, or another framework. For a cooking enrichment programme, culinary training, food hygiene certification, and experience working with the relevant age group are all relevant indicators of quality. Ask to speak with the instructor directly or to observe a session if possible before committing. If credentials are not readily shared, treat that as a prompt to ask further questions before payment.
