Families typically engage Little Steps Asia when preparing a child for school admissions assessments or standardised tests such as the DSA, PSLE, IB entrance, or international school placement tests. When making an enquiry, it helps to specify the child's current level, the target school or examination, the timeline, and whether you are looking for group or one-to-one sessions. Confirming syllabus alignment — particularly whether preparation is geared towards MOE, IB, IGCSE, or a specific overseas curriculum — will allow the team to recommend the appropriate programme. Ask about session frequency, term commitment, and whether materials are included in the fee.
To get started, contact Little Steps Asia via phone or the enquiry form on their listing to discuss your child's admissions timeline and confirm current availability for the relevant programme.
Take the trial class and confirm the tutor's actual credentials before committing to a term.
If you’re looking for a performing arts studio that is excels and yet keeps things fun and vibey, Maddspace is definitely the place to be. My daughter has been with them and she’s managed to get a Distinction for every level of Pop Vocals exam all the way up to Grade 5. The teachers here really know how to prep the kids—they make sure the technique is solid without killing the passion for singing. What we love most are the massive opportunities they provide beyond just the classroom: Local & Regional Stages: They don't just stay in the studio! My daughter has had amazing chances to perform and compete both locally and across the region. Confidence Building: These international and local exposures have really leveled up her stage presence and confidence. Truly a top-notch school with a passionate owner who cares for his students. If you want your child to excel while actually loving the journey, look no further. Highly recommended!
My girl has been learned K-pop dancing in MADDspace for four years. She likes the teachers and makes friends here. Every Saturday she is so happy because having K-pop class on that day. And the class will have showcase at end of each term and dance camp in holidays and year end recital which allows children to have a chance to perform and greatly boost their confidence level. Good Job and keep up the great work MADDspace! 👍
Very good experience and exposure for my young kids to join hip hop dance and sing class and see all other talented bigger kids to inspire my kids. John and his team are also very passionate and dedicated in their work, especially during the National Day production video. Recommended
My daughter has been a Maddspace-an since Jan 2023 (a little short of 6 months) and we are happy with the structured routine of classes every Saturday, with no surprise cancellations, a fun environment for children with the dedicated teachers and the entertaining dance showcase at the end of each term. She loves Ms Prisca's Hip-Hop classes and would be open to trying her Fav style K-pop in the future. One thing we would like to see is more opportunities for her to showcase her performances in external forums and events. Keep it up, Maddspace!
My Child enjoyed his kpop dancing lesson at MADDspace. A great way for him to release his energy!

Little Steps Asia does not publicly list per-session rates, and pricing is indicated as mid-range ($$). Fees in Singapore's test prep and admissions segment typically vary based on whether sessions are one-to-one or in a small group, the programme length, and the target examination or school. When enquiring, ask for a breakdown of the per-session or package rate, any upfront registration or materials fee, and whether a trial class is available before committing to a term. Sibling discounts or package rates for longer programmes are worth asking about. See the full Test Prep & Admissions cost guide for Singapore →
Many test prep and admissions providers in Singapore offer a trial class, sometimes at a reduced fee, so that families can assess whether the teaching style, level, and pace are a good fit for their child. It is worth asking Little Steps Asia directly whether a trial session is available for the specific programme you are considering. During a trial, look at whether the content is pitched at the right level, how the tutor responds to the child's gaps, and whether the session format — group or one-to-one — suits the child's learning style. A single trial session is usually sufficient to judge engagement and approach before committing to a full term.
Little Steps Asia's listing does not specify individual tutor qualifications. When enquiring, it is reasonable to ask whether tutors have an NIE or MOE teaching background, relevant degree qualifications, and direct experience preparing students for the specific examination or admissions process you are targeting — whether that is the DSA portfolio, an international school intake assessment, IB, IGCSE, or another pathway. Also ask how long each tutor has been working with students at your child's level, and whether the same tutor leads all sessions in a programme, as consistency tends to matter in test preparation.
If Little Steps Asia isn't the right fit, these are other test prep & admissions providers on KakiList worth shortlisting. All are independently listed — no affiliate fees, no "featured" sponsorships.
