About Madam Partum

About Madam Partum

Madam Partum is a confinement food caterer operating islandwide from its kitchen at Tanjong Katong Road. KakiList has verified its operating details and contact channels. It holds a 4.7/5 rating across 405 Google reviews — a robust sample that provides a reliable signal of consistent customer experience. Pricing sits in the mid-range tier ($$) and is structured as packages.

Mothers typically begin by contacting Madam Partum via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to confirm availability for their expected delivery month, as popular caterers book up weeks to months in advance. Packages are built around the standard 28-day confinement period, with lunch and dinner delivered hot twice daily — typically within a midday and late-afternoon window. Before committing to a full package, it is worth requesting a trial meal to assess taste, portion size, and how well the food sits during the early postpartum days when appetite and digestion can be unpredictable. Confirm whether herbal soups, red dates tea, and longan tea are bundled into the package price or billed separately, and verify that containers are BPA-free and microwave-safe.

To get started, reach out to Madam Partum via WhatsApp or the online form with your estimated due date and dietary preferences to confirm package availability and request a trial meal before paying any deposit.

I’ve been visiting this TCM massage clinic since 2021 for my back and neck cervical condition, and the care has been consistently excellent. The therapists : Vivi, Yuan Sea and Xiaohui are very well versed, professional, and experienced — they really understand how to treat problem areas effectively. Physician Lian is calm, patient, and highly knowledgeable in administering acupuncture. His gentle approach and clear explanations always make the sessions comfortable and reassuring. All the staff, including the receptionists Xiuli and Manqi as well as Physician Yang are kind, polite and helpful. Booking appointments is always smooth, and the overall atmosphere is welcoming and peaceful. The clinic is clean, well-managed, and focused on genuine care. I truly trust this team and highly recommend them to anyone seeking effective TCM massage and acupuncture.

I’ve been visiting Madam Partum since my prenatal days, and I’m so glad I chanced upon Guo Ju during one of my early appointments. Ever since then, I’ve stuck with her without hesitation. She is incredibly skilled - strong when you need strength, yet gentle and attentive to your preferences at every session. From week 37 onwards, she also helped me with breast massages, and I truly believe that’s why my milk came in so quickly after giving birth. I’m an oversupplier, which comes with its own set of challenges like breast engorgement and blocked ducts. Every time I went for my postpartum massages, she would help clear any lumps before they turned into something painful. And on days when I did get engorged, I would book an urgent session with her - her magic hands always brought instant relief. Now that my breasts have more or less adjusted and blocked ducts are less frequent, I still continue seeing her regularly to ease the aches and pains from baby-holding, breastfeeding, and all the physical strain that comes with newborn care. Guo Ju feels like an aunt to me - warm, caring, and always ready with tips and advice on how to better care for my body both before and after childbirth. A special thank you as well to Xiu Li and Manqi, who have always been incredibly quick and responsive in helping me book appointments, sometimes even at the last minute. Their efficiency and friendliness make every visit smooth and stress-free. I’m truly grateful for the whole team and can’t recommend them highly enough!

Have tried the massage services at 2 outlets and the home services, and there is a stark difference between them. I was impressed with the service at the outlets, which led me to sign home packages with them. However, I was left disappointed for the 2 out of 3 home services, where the staff were at least 30 mins late without much explanation (were they overbooked?), 1 of which was questionable and uncomfortable where my massage table was moved around when I was lying on it. The quality of the massage at home v the outlets were rather different, which makes me wonder why if I am just paying for the convenience of home service at the expense of the quality. I would appreciate it my time is respected for the home service, like how we are on time for our sessions at the outlets. After giving feedback for the first home session, the customer service managed to swop out the service staff. However, the replacement staff was changed again without consultation, leaving me to wonder again the quality that I will be getting. I am now left to question the quality and timeliness of the remaining sessions I have. A 3-star rating is given due to the good service at the outlets.

Madam Partum has been a wonderful part of my journey through both of my pregnancies. Physician Judy is knowledgeable, caring, and incredibly encouraging. She supported us when we faced challenges conceiving our first child, and I’m so grateful for her guidance. The pre- and post-partum massages have brought me immense relief. During pregnancy, my back and legs always felt so much better after each session, and the post-partum massages were highly effective — I noticed a visible reduction in my belly size after just a few sessions. The store is beautifully renovated, and I always enjoy the most restful naps during my massages. The staff are friendly and genuinely care about my well being. I highly recommend Madam Partum for all your partum care needs — they’ve been a trusted companion through my motherhood journey.

I frequently had painful blocked milk ducts after delivery. Physician Judy Chen and therapist vivi has customised and catered the appropriate care and treatment for me according to my needs, patiently listened to my worries, gave me wise advices which resulted in increasing my milk flow supply and reducing my blocked ducts. I recommend all the new mummies to seek treatment at madam partum. They have variety of services available for new mummies like us. You will feel listened and cared for after going through this biggest milestone of your life.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Madam Partum charge for a confinement food package?

Madam Partum uses a package pricing model (displayed as $$), consistent with the Singapore confinement food market range of S$1,200–2,800 for a standard 28-day programme. Contact Madam Partum directly for current package prices, as exact figures were not available at time of listing. Packages are typically priced on the number of trays per day — most caterers deliver 2 trays (lunch and dinner) as standard, with a breakfast add-on available. Confirm whether herbal soups, red dates tea, longan tea, and confinement tonics are included in the package fee or charged separately, and whether there is a delivery surcharge for landed properties or addresses outside the central delivery zone. See the full confinement food cost guide for Singapore →

What dietary tradition does Madam Partum follow, and is there a trial meal?

Singapore confinement food caterers typically follow one of several dietary traditions — Cantonese (the most common, featuring warming herbal soups, ginger, sesame oil, and rice wine), Hokkien, Teochew, Western-style postnatal, halal, or vegetarian. Contact Madam Partum directly to confirm which traditions their kitchen follows and whether the menu rotates daily or repeats on a weekly cycle. For breastfeeding mothers, it is also worth asking whether low-spice and no-rice-wine adjustments are available. Most reputable caterers offer a single-day or trial meal at around S$30–60 — this is strongly recommended before paying a package deposit, as personal taste and postpartum appetite vary considerably and a menu that reads well may not suit every mother in practice.

Is Madam Partum licensed and how is food safety handled?

No regulatory licences were recorded for Madam Partum at the time of listing. Legitimate confinement food operations should hold an SFA Food Shop Licence or Catering Licence — the SFA hygiene grade (A being highest, through B, C, and D) provides a useful benchmark for kitchen standards. Halal-certified providers additionally hold a MUIS certificate, which should appear on packaging. Confirm Madam Partum's current licence and hygiene grade directly before placing an order. Confinement meals should be cooked the same day and delivered hot in microwave-safe, BPA-free containers within approximately a four-hour window. When enquiring, confirm the twice-daily delivery time slots, packaging type, and the substitute or refund policy if a delivery is missed. Order a trial meal and confirm the SFA hygiene grade — and MUIS halal certificate if relevant — before paying the package deposit.
