Families typically begin by reaching out via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to check availability for their expected due date. Given demand for experienced confinement nannies, it is advisable to make contact several months ahead of the estimated delivery. During the enquiry stage, discuss the expected start date, whether a 28-day or extended arrangement is preferred, dietary tradition (for example Cantonese herbal soups versus a lighter approach), herbal tonic preferences, and any specific overnight care requirements for the newborn. Confirming food preferences, sleeping arrangements, and house rules in advance helps set clear expectations for both parties before the booking is finalised.
Contact Madam Partum via WhatsApp or phone to check nanny availability for your confinement period and to arrange an interview before confirming your booking.
Interview the nanny before booking, agree the food and overnight terms in writing.
I’ve been visiting this TCM massage clinic since 2021 for my back and neck cervical condition, and the care has been consistently excellent. The therapists : Vivi, Yuan Sea and Xiaohui are very well versed, professional, and experienced — they really understand how to treat problem areas effectively. Physician Lian is calm, patient, and highly knowledgeable in administering acupuncture. His gentle approach and clear explanations always make the sessions comfortable and reassuring. All the staff, including the receptionists Xiuli and Manqi as well as Physician Yang are kind, polite and helpful. Booking appointments is always smooth, and the overall atmosphere is welcoming and peaceful. The clinic is clean, well-managed, and focused on genuine care. I truly trust this team and highly recommend them to anyone seeking effective TCM massage and acupuncture.
I’ve been visiting Madam Partum since my prenatal days, and I’m so glad I chanced upon Guo Ju during one of my early appointments. Ever since then, I’ve stuck with her without hesitation. She is incredibly skilled - strong when you need strength, yet gentle and attentive to your preferences at every session. From week 37 onwards, she also helped me with breast massages, and I truly believe that’s why my milk came in so quickly after giving birth. I’m an oversupplier, which comes with its own set of challenges like breast engorgement and blocked ducts. Every time I went for my postpartum massages, she would help clear any lumps before they turned into something painful. And on days when I did get engorged, I would book an urgent session with her - her magic hands always brought instant relief. Now that my breasts have more or less adjusted and blocked ducts are less frequent, I still continue seeing her regularly to ease the aches and pains from baby-holding, breastfeeding, and all the physical strain that comes with newborn care. Guo Ju feels like an aunt to me - warm, caring, and always ready with tips and advice on how to better care for my body both before and after childbirth. A special thank you as well to Xiu Li and Manqi, who have always been incredibly quick and responsive in helping me book appointments, sometimes even at the last minute. Their efficiency and friendliness make every visit smooth and stress-free. I’m truly grateful for the whole team and can’t recommend them highly enough!
Have tried the massage services at 2 outlets and the home services, and there is a stark difference between them. I was impressed with the service at the outlets, which led me to sign home packages with them. However, I was left disappointed for the 2 out of 3 home services, where the staff were at least 30 mins late without much explanation (were they overbooked?), 1 of which was questionable and uncomfortable where my massage table was moved around when I was lying on it. The quality of the massage at home v the outlets were rather different, which makes me wonder why if I am just paying for the convenience of home service at the expense of the quality. I would appreciate it my time is respected for the home service, like how we are on time for our sessions at the outlets. After giving feedback for the first home session, the customer service managed to swop out the service staff. However, the replacement staff was changed again without consultation, leaving me to wonder again the quality that I will be getting. I am now left to question the quality and timeliness of the remaining sessions I have. A 3-star rating is given due to the good service at the outlets.
Madam Partum has been a wonderful part of my journey through both of my pregnancies. Physician Judy is knowledgeable, caring, and incredibly encouraging. She supported us when we faced challenges conceiving our first child, and I’m so grateful for her guidance. The pre- and post-partum massages have brought me immense relief. During pregnancy, my back and legs always felt so much better after each session, and the post-partum massages were highly effective — I noticed a visible reduction in my belly size after just a few sessions. The store is beautifully renovated, and I always enjoy the most restful naps during my massages. The staff are friendly and genuinely care about my well being. I highly recommend Madam Partum for all your partum care needs — they’ve been a trusted companion through my motherhood journey.
I frequently had painful blocked milk ducts after delivery. Physician Judy Chen and therapist vivi has customised and catered the appropriate care and treatment for me according to my needs, patiently listened to my worries, gave me wise advices which resulted in increasing my milk flow supply and reducing my blocked ducts. I recommend all the new mummies to seek treatment at madam partum. They have variety of services available for new mummies like us. You will feel listened and cared for after going through this biggest milestone of your life.

Madam Partum uses a package pricing model. In the Singapore market, a standard 28-day confinement nanny package typically ranges from S$3,500 to S$6,500, depending on the nanny's experience, whether the arrangement includes overnight care, and whether food preparation is included or provided separately. Some providers also offer a 56-day option for mothers who prefer extended support. Confirm in writing what is included — overnight newborn care, baby bathing, mother's meals and herbal soups, and any herbal tonic costs — as these significantly affect the total. Contact Madam Partum directly for their current package pricing. See the full confinement nanny cost guide for Singapore →
It is generally advisable to book a confinement nanny at least four to six months before your expected due date. Experienced nannies with strong reputations are often booked six to twelve months in advance, particularly for peak periods around Chinese New Year or school holiday windows. During the booking process, arrange an interview with the nanny before committing — this allows you to assess compatibility, discuss dietary preferences such as Cantonese versus other traditions, agree on overnight responsibilities, and clarify house rules. Agencies typically facilitate this matching step. Reach out to Madam Partum early to confirm their next available slots.
Confinement nanny certification in Singapore is not government-mandated, though reputable providers often train their nannies in newborn care, basic lactation support, and traditional confinement practices. Ask Madam Partum directly about the training background and experience of the nanny assigned to you. On replacement policy: booking through an agency rather than a freelancer provides recourse if the placement is not a good fit. Confirm the replacement guarantee window and what circumstances qualify for a replacement before signing any agreement. Freelance nannies are typically lower cost but offer no formal replacement mechanism if the arrangement breaks down. Interview the nanny before booking, and agree on food and overnight terms in writing.
