About "Marsden Swim School"
Marsden Swim School is a swimming instruction provider operating islandwide across Singapore, listed under the Sport and Swimming Schools subcategory on KakiList. The school has been verified by KakiList, meaning a real person has confirmed its operating details and contact channel. It carries a 5-out-of-5 rating on Google, though this is drawn from only 3 reviews and should be treated as directional rather than conclusive.
For families considering swimming lessons, the typical starting point is to enquire about level and age-group fit — whether your child is a complete beginner, working on water confidence, or developing stroke technique. It is worth asking whether classes run as small groups or one-to-one sessions, how term commitments are structured, and which locations or pools are used for coaching. Since Marsden Swim School operates islandwide, confirming the specific venue for your preferred schedule is a sensible early step.
To begin, reach out via the enquiry form on the KakiList listing to confirm current class availability, pricing, and venue details. Listing data is incomplete — contact "Marsden Swim School" directly to confirm details.
Take the trial class and confirm the coach's actual credentials before committing to a term.
Our 3 yo son is afraid of water even after multiple times bringing him to the pool, so we decided that it’s time to enroll him for a swimming class. We’re very happy that Marsden Swim School opens at Potong Pasir. The lesson is fun for both child and parent. After 3 lessons, my son is so much more comfortable playing in the water. His progress is so remarkable, I couldnt believe myself. All thanks to Coach Mark. He is such a natural with young children and has the perfect balance of being strict and playful with the kids. Our son now looks forward to his class every week!
My daughter was terrified of the water, but under Coach Mark’s guidance and encouragement, she made very fast progress and is so much more confident in the water now. Thank you Coach Mark!
Coach Nurul was fun, encouraging and patient with her students. Baby now looks forward to her weekly swim class. Thank you.

For swimming schools in Singapore, fees typically range from S$30–60 per session for group classes, with one-to-one coaching running higher. Many swimming schools in Singapore offer a trial class, either at a reduced fee or at the standard session rate, before you commit to a term or package. This is a useful opportunity to assess whether the teaching style suits your child, whether the class level is appropriate, and whether the coach-to-student ratio allows for meaningful individual attention. When attending a trial, observe how the coach manages children who are nervous around water, how instructions are given, and whether your child engages positively by the end of the session. Contact Marsden Swim School directly to confirm whether a trial class is available and what it costs.
Credential information for Marsden Swim School's coaches is not available in the current listing. For swimming instruction, relevant qualifications to ask about include Singapore Swimming Association (SSA) coaching certification, Royal Life Saving Society (RLSS) awards, or equivalent national coaching accreditation. Years of teaching experience and familiarity with the specific age group or stroke programme you need are equally relevant. It is advisable to ask directly about the lead coach's background, whether the same coach is assigned consistently across sessions, and how the school handles substitutions when a regular coach is unavailable.
