Working with Nabila from Massing Design to create our 2nd home has been an absolute pleasure. Finding a designer who shares your passion and vision can be daunting, but from our first meeting, We knew that we're in good hands. Nabila is the perfect blend of meticulous, patient, and design-forward. We came into the process with a clear vision, but we needed an expert to tie it all together hence we choose Nabila. She led us through every phase of the renovation with sincere care and were incredibly helpful, patient, responsible, and passionate. Me & my wife can be a really indecisive person 😅. We genuinely valued how she constantly provided knowledgeable, clear guidance and greatly facilitated decision-making. She never once made us feel pressured. Instead, she took the time to fully explain our alternatives, enabling us to make confident decisions. We were also impressed by her team of contractors and carpenters. Although there were some hiccups along the way of the renovation, she will get things settled. In addition, she has gone above and above to help us with other tasks, such as placing orders for some of our furniture from Taobao. In order to ensure that everything is correct, she has also put a lot of effort into fixing the areas that needed improvement for our post-reno rectifications. Had the pleasure of working with Phyllis and her team! From the initial consultation, she took the time to understand my vision, functional needs, and budget. Every element from color selection and materials to furniture and lighting was thoughtfully considered and seamlessly integrated. She was also very professional and reliable throughout the project. Communication was clear and consistent, timelines were respected, and she was always open to feedback or small changes along the way. We engaged massing design as our ID for the renovation of our new house, including design, hacking, flooring & skirting, cornice, carpentry, electrical works, mezzanine, and painting. Overall, we are very satisfied with the service. Dion and his team did their best to accommodate our schedule. Although there were some small delays along the way, Dion and team still managed to complete all the works on time, which allowed us to move in as planned. What we appreciated most was the time he spent with us selecting materials. He was very patient and made a strong effort to find the best combinations to match our existing kitchenette, which made a big difference to the final look of the home. He also took the initiative to organize meetings with subcontractors whenever there were doubts, especially to discuss design and safety matters with the PE. This gave us a lot of confidence in the design decisions and the overall renovation process. We would definitely recommend our ID to anyone planning to renovate their house. Marine Parade 3-room HDB 818sqft — Concept to Reality Working with Nabila has truly been a pleasure. I had been searching for an interior designer earlier this year who could share my vision and passion for creating my first home. From the start, I knew I needed someone who was meticulous, detail-oriented, patient, and had a strong eye for design — and Nabila embodied all of these qualities. Design stage & material selection: I had a clear idea of what I wanted but needed someone to tie everything together cohesively. Nabila patiently accompanied me to numerous tile and laminate supplier showrooms to ensure we selected the right materials for the house. In the end, I chose four different laminates from four different suppliers — it was tiring, but absolutely worth it, with no regrets. Construction stage: As I’m a very hands-on homeowner, I truly appreciated how receptive Nabila was to all my feedback during my weekend site visits. She promptly followed up with the various contractors on the next working day to check on possible rectifications, whether it was electrical point locations or carpentry adjustments to better suit site conditions. Bringing everything together: Nabila and her team also went the extra mile by recommending and shortlisting Taobao furniture that complemented the overall design of the house. This additional support really helped to bring the entire home together. Even small but important details — such as coordinating electrical point heights to match the TV console from Taobao — were handled swiftly and thoughtfully. While there were minor hiccups along the way, they were far outweighed by how beautifully everything came together in the end.
