Fees are indicated at the mid-range price tier ($$).
Families considering Matrix Math would typically begin by enquiring about level and syllabus fit — whether the student is sitting the PSLE, O-Level, A-Level, or an international syllabus such as IB or IGCSE — and confirming whether group or one-to-one tuition is available. It is worth asking whether a trial class is on offer before committing to a term, as this allows both the student and parent to assess teaching style, pacing, and level appropriateness. Parents should also clarify the session format (in-person at the Marine Parade centre, home visit, or online), term commitment expectations, and whether materials or workbooks are included in the fee.
The most direct next step is to reach out via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to ask about current availability for your child's level, confirm the fee structure, and arrange a trial class before signing up for a term.
Take the trial class and confirm the tutor's actual credentials before committing to a term.
I’ve had a wonderful experience with this math tuition centre. The environment is supportive, structured, and genuinely focused on helping students improve and my son looks forward to lessons every week. I would especially like to commend Teacher Jeanne. Her dedication, patience, and ability to break down difficult concepts have made a huge difference. She takes the time to keep me updated on my son’s progress, ensure he understands the lesson and feel confident before moving on. Thanks to her guidance, I’ve seen real improvement and growing confidence in my son’s math. Highly recommended for anyone looking for effective, quality math support!
My kid has been in Matrix Maths for a few months and I can see that she has developed an interest for maths through these lessons. She adores Teacher Liwen, so thank you Teacher Liwen for sparking her interest in maths! My kid enjoys doing the materials given as homework, perhaps partly also due to the materials being colourful and engaging.
We are very thankful to Matrix Maths and especially Teacher Apple for their dedication and support. My child achieved AL2 for PSLE Maths, and we truly believe the guidance here played a big role in this result. Teacher Apple is patient, encouraging, and very clear in her explanations. She helped my child build strong foundations and confidence, and we could see steady improvement over time. The centre is organised, responsive, and truly cares about each student’s progress. Highly recommended for any parent looking for structured, effective, and caring maths support. Thank you, Matrix Maths and Teacher Apple, for your hard work and commitment! 🙏📚✨
My children have seen strong improvement in their Maths under the guidance of Teacher Yi Sheng. He is very patient and clear in his explanation, makes time for questions, gives the needed attention for improvement. One of my children scored A1 in his lower secondary exams. The resources provided by Maths Matrix through additional worksheets, school exam papers and weekly video reviews are extremely helpful. Course administrators are efficient, making it easy for parents. Big kudos to the Maths Matrix team!

Matrix Math is priced at the mid-range tier ($$), though specific per-session or monthly package rates are not publicly listed. Tuition fees in Singapore typically vary by the student's level and class format — group sessions generally run lower per head than one-to-one arrangements, and secondary or JC levels tend to command higher rates than primary. When enquiring, ask whether fees are charged per session, as a monthly package, or on a termly basis. Clarify whether a trial class carries a separate fee, and whether printed materials or workbooks are included or billed separately. Sibling discounts or package deals for multiple sessions per week are worth asking about too. See the full Private Tutors cost guide for Singapore →
Many tuition providers, including those operating from fixed centres, offer a trial class to allow students and parents to assess fit before signing up for a full term. A trial session typically covers a sample lesson at the student's current level, giving you a sense of the teaching approach, pace, and how the tutor handles gaps in understanding. When attending a trial, observe whether the student is engaged, whether the content is pitched at the right difficulty, and whether the tutor explains concepts clearly rather than simply working through answers. It is also a good opportunity to ask about class size if attending a group session. Contact Matrix Math via WhatsApp or phone to confirm whether a trial class is available, any associated cost, and how soon a regular slot could begin.
Specific tutor credentials for Matrix Math are not publicly listed on this directory. When enquiring, it is reasonable to ask about the lead tutor's academic background — such as a relevant degree in Mathematics or a related field — whether they hold an NIE qualification or have prior MOE teaching experience, and how many years they have been teaching at the levels they cover. It is also worth confirming which syllabuses they are familiar with (MOE primary and secondary, O-Level, A-Level, or international curricula such as IB or IGCSE), as syllabus-specific knowledge can make a material difference to exam preparation. Take the trial class and confirm the tutor's actual credentials before committing to a term.
