About Matt's Education
Matt's Education is a private tuition provider operating islandwide across Singapore, listed at the $$ price tier. The service is KakiList-verified, meaning operating details and contact channels have been confirmed by a real person. It holds a 4.9-star rating on Google across 38 reviews — a moderate sample size that is encouraging but should be treated with some caution when weighing it against providers with larger review pools.
Families typically begin by reaching out via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to discuss the student's current level, target syllabus (for example, MOE PSLE, O-Level, A-Level, IP, or IGCSE), and whether they are looking for group sessions or one-to-one tuition. It is worth confirming early whether lessons are conducted at the Clementi centre, at the student's home, or online, as well as any term commitment or minimum session requirements. A trial class can help assess whether the teaching pace and style suit the student before signing up for a longer package.
To take the first step, send a message via WhatsApp or call directly to describe the subject, year level, and preferred schedule. Securing a slot early is advisable, as availability during peak periods such as the months leading up to national examinations tends to fill quickly.
Take the trial class and confirm the tutor's actual credentials before committing to a term.
At Matt’s Education, their teaching approach really aligns with what I value in a learning centre, they focus on identifying and correcting misconceptions rather than simply piling on worksheets. This helps students build real understanding and confidence instead of feeling demoralised. There’s also an upcoming Open House happening soon with no registration fee, plus a free trial lesson and holiday revision pack to experience their teaching firsthand, definitely worth checking out!
I popped by Matt’s Education at Clementi and instantly loved the warm, supportive vibe. The teachers are MOE-trained and so patient they really understand how to bring out the best in each child. As a mom of a Primary 1 boy, that means a lot to me. It’s a place that builds confidence, not pressure.
Have been with Matt’a education since my primary school days and over the seven years I have spent there, it’s always been a very joyful experience to be tutored there! Always loved Mr and Mrs Lim’s lessons as they would always find many different ways to engage us in learning the different components of the syllabus. Besides the academic aspects, they have always been like an adult figure to me especially during my growing up days which I am very appreciative of! Hence,I would definitely recommend Matt’s Education to anyone who is out there trying to find a tutor as they will always be willing to go the extra mile to help us out.🥰
I've heard about positive reviews of this education center so I went down to take a look. The space is clean and the surroundings are quiet. Its very conducive for learning. I peeped into an on-going class and I like the vibes between the teacher and the students. I'm convinced enough to send my elder here next year for tuition.
Checked out the Clementi Centre on recommendation.. Like the warm welcome and the bright, clean environment - even the toilet is nice and clean! Seeing the inviting classroom, how the MOE – Trained Teacher connected with the students; Enthusiastic Students' Participation; and Reward System put in place, I got it why they were recommended.

Matt's Education is listed at the $$ price tier, though specific per-session or monthly rates are not published publicly. Fees in Singapore's private tuition market generally vary depending on the tutor's qualifications, the subject, the student's level, and whether sessions are one-to-one or in a small group. Many providers also offer term packages or monthly bundles at a slightly reduced effective rate compared with ad hoc booking. It is worth asking whether a trial class is available and whether there are any materials fees or registration charges on top of the tuition rate. Sibling discounts or package discounts for multiple subjects are common and worth enquiring about. See the full Private Tutors cost guide for Singapore →
Many tuition providers in Singapore offer a trial class, sometimes at a reduced fee or at the standard per-session rate, to let the student and family assess fit before committing to a term. Contact Matt's Education directly via WhatsApp or phone to ask whether a trial is available and what the applicable fee is. During a trial, it is useful to observe whether the teaching pace matches the student's current level, whether the tutor engages the student effectively, and whether the session addresses the specific gaps the student needs to work on. A single session is rarely enough to judge long-term progress, but it provides a clear sense of teaching style and classroom environment. Come prepared with recent test papers or school assessments so the tutor can gauge the student's starting point quickly.
Credential details for Matt's Education are not listed publicly on this directory. When speaking with the provider, it is reasonable to ask about the tutor's educational background, whether they have NIE training or prior MOE teaching experience, the number of years they have been tutoring, and their familiarity with the specific syllabus your child is sitting — whether that is the MOE mainstream curriculum, the Integrated Programme, IGCSE, or another framework. If multiple tutors are available depending on subject or level, ask which tutor will be assigned to your child and request their individual profile. Reviewing past students' results or asking for references is also a fair and common step before committing to a term. Contact Matt's Education directly via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to request this information.
