Patients typically begin with a phone call or enquiry form to check appointment availability or walk-in hours before visiting. At the first consultation, the doctor will take a history, conduct an examination, and where necessary order investigations such as blood panels or urine tests. Prescriptions are dispensed on-site for most acute conditions. For conditions managed under the Chronic Disease Management Programme — including hypertension, diabetes, and lipid disorders — MediSave 500 or 700 outpatient withdrawal limits may apply, reducing out-of-pocket cost for eligible Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents. Patients requiring specialist referral will receive a referral letter, which also qualifies them for subsidised Specialist Outpatient Clinic rates at public hospitals. Integrated Shield Plan holders should confirm whether the clinic is on their insurer's panel before booking.
Contact Mediplus Clinic and Surgery by phone or through the online enquiry form to confirm current consultation hours, walk-in availability, and whether your chronic condition qualifies for CDMP MediSave claims before your visit.
Verify the doctor's name on the Singapore Medical Council register and the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before booking, and for any planned procedure request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.
Dr Patrick Ho and Dr Quah have been our family doctors for 30 years. After moving house thrice, they are still our go to doctors. This speaks volumes about their professionalism, skills, patient care, effective treatments and medication, affordability. This clinic is a gem and we all hope that you will continue to run this clinic because, we, your patients need you. Thank you so much for looking after us all these years!
Frequented this clinic since I was just a baby and both doctors gave off very fatherly and motherly vibe. Stopped when I reached primary school due to my parents moving elsewhere and have been going to a Healthway clinic. Decided to come back to this clinic now that I'm an adult in my 20s as my company's insurance has changed, despite the need to travel here. I remember having only good memories at this clinic as a child even though I was sick, having Dr Ho's wife nag at me for being a crybaby and receiving a cookie from the nice receptionists afterwards. Up till now, Dr Ho still recognises my parents and would make small talk with them, even though it has been years since we all visited. Not much has changed when I came back on my own recently. Dr Ho's wife nagged at me when she found out that I haven't been following Dr Ho's intructions, resulting in me having to go back again. You can see that both doctors really care for their patients and want them to recover quickly. The consultation fee is more afforable than clinics elsewhere, yet both Dr. Ho and his wife take their time to do proper diagnosing, explaining, and advising on what to do and what not to do. The medications offered and prescribed are also cheaper, yet effective. The waiting time might be abit long at times, but that is because both doctors take the time to understand their patients' conditions and would explain to them thoroughly. Unlike other clinics, the receptionists here are also very polite. For the youngsters, note that this clinic only accepts cash, so do prepare cash before coming down.
My helper went to take Q number for my daughter first. Explained to nurse daughter feeling very sick. Thank you nurse for your understanding, kindness and helpfulness. 🙏
This is the best clinic that I have been to and has been my family GP clinic for 33 years. Yes, the waiting time is longer but its because the dr explain your queries patiently and thoroughly. The medicine is effective and you will recover within 1 visit unlike any other clinic out there. This clinic deserve nothing but 4 star and above. If you want shorter waiting time and the dr finish explaining why you sick within 1 min, this clinic is not for you. This clinic is old school and i dont think have a website. If you unsure if they can address your concern, pls give them a call first. They are responsive.
Perhaps This is the best clinic in the whole of Singapore, It has been our family GP for 32 years, Dr Patrick Ho is such a really good doctor, he always take his precious time to explain slowly and very details to every patient I believe thats why is often patients has to wait very long. I would think he the best and never fail.

GP consultations at private clinics in Singapore typically run S$25–60 per visit, with the final amount depending on the complexity of the consultation and any investigations or medications dispensed on top. Common add-ons include blood panels (S$60–200), urine tests, and prescription medications, all billed separately from the base consultation fee. GST applies on private medical services. For patients managing chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, or high cholesterol, the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP) allows MediSave withdrawals of up to S$500 or S$700 per year to offset outpatient costs at enrolled clinics. No regulatory licences are currently listed for Mediplus Clinic and Surgery in the KakiList directory. Every legitimate clinic operating in Singapore is required to hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence under the Healthcare Services Act — verifiable on the MOH licensee directory online. Every practising doctor must also appear on the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) public register at smc.gov.sg, which shows registration status, any specialist accreditation, and disciplinary history. Before attending, it is advisable to search the clinic's name on the MOH licensee directory and to confirm the consulting doctor's name on the SMC register. Neither KakiList verification nor ACRA registration substitutes for these checks in the context of a medical provider. Contact Mediplus Clinic and Surgery directly to request the clinic's MOH licence number and the consulting doctor's SMC registration details. Verify the doctor's name on the Singapore Medical Council register and the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before booking, and for any planned procedure request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.
MediSave can be used at approved outpatient clinics for selected conditions under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP), covering conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidaemia, stroke, asthma, COPD, and certain mental health conditions. The withdrawal limit is S$500 per year under MediSave 500, or S$700 under MediSave 700 for eligible cases. Confirm whether Mediplus Clinic and Surgery is a CDMP-enrolled provider before your visit, as MediSave cannot be used at non-enrolled clinics for outpatient GP care. If you hold an Integrated Shield Plan (IP) layered on MediShield Life, check with your insurer whether the clinic is on the panel for outpatient coverage, as IP benefits for GP visits vary by plan tier and insurer. For any planned procedure or specialist referral arising from a GP visit, request a written financial counselling estimate at the point of referral that clearly states the insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions. Skipping this step is the most common reason patients are surprised by their final bill.
