About Meide Babysitting
Meide Babysitting is a confinement nanny provider serving families islandwide from its base in Jurong West. The listing is KakiList-verified, and with 1,547 Google reviews at 4.7 out of 5 — a robust sample — the rating carries meaningful weight. No ACRA registration has been confirmed, and no regulatory licences are on file, so families should verify company details directly before booking.
When enquiring, contact Meide Babysitting via WhatsApp, phone, or the online form to discuss your expected due date, confinement period length (the standard is 28 days, though some families arrange 56 days), and whether you prefer a nanny with experience in a particular culinary tradition — Cantonese herbal soups are most common, but preferences for Hokkien, Teochew, or other styles should be raised early. Ask whether food is prepared by the nanny or supplied separately, whether overnight care is included, how the nanny handles newborn bathing and latching support, and what the agency's process is if the match proves unsuitable after placement begins.
To secure a booking, reach out at least four to six months before your due date, as demand for well-reviewed nannies is high and popular candidates are often reserved six to twelve months in advance.
Interview the nanny before booking, agree the food and overnight terms in writing.
I engaged this MEIDE for a tenancy handover cleaning, and they did an excellent job. The house was originally quite dusty with lots of nooks and hard-to-reach areas that we could never properly get to on our own — but the team cleaned everything thoroughly and made the whole space look fresh again. The entire process was smooth and convenient, and it really took a load off our minds during the move. Highly recommend engaging them for any cleaning services — truly reliable and professional!
I had a great experience with MEIDE HSS. The team is very professional, friendly and helpful. They responded quickly and provided excellent service. The work was done carefully and everything was well organized. I am very satisfied with their service and really appreciate their effort. I would definitely recommend MEIDE HSS to anyone looking for reliable and quality service in Singapore. Thank you for the great support!
For context, Meide requires upfront payment. I booked a helper through Meide.sg for 21 Feb. The helper did not show up, and there was no prior notice from the company. When I contacted them, they acknowledged it was their mistake and asked me to reschedule. However, I had set aside my day specifically for this appointment. I am disappointed in their service recovery so forgive me for not giving them another chance at my expense. I requested a refund instead. Since then, communication has been non-existent - they effectively ghosted me. My refund request has been ignored despite multiple follow-ups via WhatsApp and email. I later received an email stating their WhatsApp was “not working,” but my email replies also went unanswered. I even contacted their alternate number and could see messages being read, yet no response was provided. To think that they actually reached out to me just before 21 Feb to ask to schedule (and pay) for my next session. Very poor service recovery and customer support. I hope the company can address this properly. I would update this review if I ever get my refund back.
My whole family was sick and we decided to engage someone to help with the spring cleaning to get ready for CNY. Meide was very prompt in their responses and they were reasonable in their rates. Even at the last minute, they managed to secure a helper who came and did the vacuum and mopping plus toilets within the designated two hours. Highly recommended!
Have used a few times now and very happy with the cleaning services. The last two cleaners have been very polite and kind as well. They show up promptly and work hard. Highly recommend.

Confinement nanny packages in Singapore typically range from S$3,500 to S$6,500 for a standard 28-day arrangement, depending on the nanny's experience, culinary specialisation, and whether overnight care is included throughout. A 56-day engagement, which some families prefer for additional recovery support, is priced higher and subject to availability. Confirm what is bundled into the quoted package: overnight care, newborn bathing, herbal soups and confinement meals, and breastfeeding support are sometimes included, and sometimes billed separately. Clarify this in writing before paying any deposit. See the full confinement nanny cost guide for Singapore →
Book at least four to six months before your due date. Well-reviewed nannies at agencies with strong track records are frequently reserved six to twelve months in advance, particularly for January and February due dates when demand peaks. Use the initial enquiry to conduct an interview — ask about the nanny's experience with newborn care, her cooking tradition (Cantonese, Hokkien, Teochew, or other), dietary restrictions she can accommodate, and her approach to overnight care and infant sleep. Discuss food preferences, herbal soup recipes, and any special requests at this stage rather than after placement begins. Agreeing these details in writing reduces the risk of mismatched expectations during what is already a demanding period.
Confinement nanny certification in Singapore is not formally regulated — some nannies hold certificates from private training institutes covering postpartum care, infant care, and herbal cooking, while others rely on years of practical experience. Ask Meide Babysitting directly about each nanny's background and any formal training she has completed. If the placement proves unsuitable after the nanny arrives, the key question is whether a replacement guarantee is in place and on what terms. Agency-sourced nannies generally offer more structured recourse than freelance arrangements — if the agency has a documented replacement policy, ask for the conditions, timeline, and any additional cost in writing before signing. Freelance nannies are typically less expensive but carry greater risk if the relationship breaks down, as there is no agency intermediary to manage a replacement.
