About MetaSport
MetaSport is a sports and swimming school operating islandwide from its base at 10B Institution Hill, Singapore 239665. It has been verified by KakiList, meaning a real person has confirmed its operating details and contact channels. The provider holds a Google rating of 3.7 out of 5, though this is based on only 9 reviews and should be treated as directional rather than definitive. Pricing is indicated at the S$$ level; specific session or package fees were not available at the time of listing.
If you are considering enrolling a child or adult, the first step is to enquire about level and syllabus fit — whether the programme is suited to a beginner, intermediate, or competitive swimmer or athlete, and which age groups are catered for. Ask whether classes are conducted in a group setting or on a one-to-one basis, as this affects both pace and price. It is worth clarifying the term commitment required and whether a trial arrangement is possible before signing up for a full block. MetaSport operates islandwide, so confirm which pools or facilities are used and whether the location is convenient for your schedule.
To take the next step, reach out to MetaSport via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to ask about current class availability, group sizes, and fees before committing to a programme. Listing data is incomplete — contact MetaSport directly to confirm details.
Take the trial class and confirm the tutor's actual credentials before committing to a term.
I did my first triathlon in 2022 with the MetaSport Series and it was such an awesome experience. The event was well organised and I enjoyed every minute of it. I can’t wait for the 2023 events. I plan on doing the aquathlon, duathlon and triathlon and I’m going to get my kids involved in the kids events. Thank you MetaSport for putting these events on in Singapore that suit beginners =)
Metasport organises great events. However, my poor review concerns their customer experience. At one event, I redeemed a drinks bottle and a couple of event tees using my Metasport points. Despite repeated email chasers from me, I have received vague comments about the items being sent out and a promise to follow up then silence. And 6 months on, I have received nothing. Items that reside in a Singapore warehouse (not being shipped over from Korea or China or the US) still have not reached me within Singapore. No matter how good the events organised are, this puts a complete dampener on my experience with Metasports. Fiona Sim, your Customer Experience Executive, is doing the rest of your team a major disservice.
Would give 0 stars if I could. Have been taking part in tribob/metasport events for over 10 years. They used to give credits for another event if you couldn't take part due to illness or injury. But that has all changed. I have just caught Covid. So obviously couldn't do the Batam Tri. Now they don't give any refunds at all. So I will not be taking part in any metasport event ever going forward. Hopefully others who enter their races will think twice about registering. The other triathlon organizers in Singapore eg. Trifactor are much more understanding about this. Trifactor offered a credit scheme (similar to IRONMAN) when I fractured my arm last year. So I will be sticking to them for Tri training and races in future. No more metasport for me.
If you’re a newbie looking for a beginner triathlon event in Singapore that’s well organised, the MetaSprint series are awesome! Highly recommended! Looking forward to upcoming events!
I love the Metasprint series triathlon! I did my first triathlon race in 2022 and I’ll be back for more of their multi sport events in 2023 😎

MetaSport's pricing is indicated at the S$$ level, though specific per-session, monthly package, or term fees were not publicly listed at the time of this entry. For Singapore swimming and sports schools, group classes typically run S$30–60 per session, while one-to-one coaching can range from S$80 to S$150 or more per hour. Ask whether a trial class is available, what the cost of that trial is, and whether materials or equipment are included. Some providers charge a separate registration fee at the start of each term. Package or term commitments may offer a lower effective per-session rate than paying drop-in. Confirm whether sibling discounts or multi-programme discounts apply. It is worth asking MetaSport directly whether a trial session is offered and at what cost, as policies vary between providers. A trial class lets you assess whether the teaching style suits your child or yourself, whether the pace and level are appropriate, and whether the coach communicates clearly and keeps participants engaged. When attending a trial, observe how the instructor manages the group, how much individual attention is given, and how safety is handled in and around the water or sports area. If a formal trial is not available, ask whether you can observe a regular class before enrolling. This is a reasonable request and a reputable provider should have no objection.
Specific coach qualifications were not listed in the provider data available. For swimming instruction, relevant credentials include Singapore Swimming Association (SSA) coaching certification or equivalent national body accreditation. For other sports, look for relevant national sports association endorsements or international equivalents. It is reasonable to ask directly about the lead coach's background, years of experience, and whether they have experience teaching the specific age group or ability level you are enquiring about. Alignment with MOE school syllabus may also be relevant if you are preparing a child for school-based swimming assessments. If credentials are important to your decision, request this information before committing to a term.
