Families typically begin by reaching out via WhatsApp, phone, or the online enquiry form to discuss their child's current level, target examination or admissions goal, and preferred schedule. Mindlab International's focus on test preparation and admissions means the conversation will centre on which examination or programme your child is working towards — whether that is PSLE, DSA, IB, IGCSE, SAT, or an independent school entrance assessment — and which syllabus alignment is required. From there, you can establish whether group or one-to-one tuition suits your child's learning style, the term commitment involved, and whether sessions will be held at the Scotts Road centre or delivered online.
To take the next step, contact Mindlab International directly via WhatsApp or phone to discuss your child's target examination, confirm current availability, and ask about a trial class before committing to a full programme.
Take the trial class and confirm the tutor's actual credentials before committing to a term.
As a parent, I am very thankful for Miss Lyn’s guidance. My child initially achieved a low B in IGCSE English and found many of the exam questions challenging. Over time, with Miss Lyn’s coaching, there was a clear improvement in both understanding and performance, and my child eventually achieved an A in the final exam. Miss Lyn has a very effective teaching approach. She simplifies the process for each question by breaking it down clearly and guiding students through the ideation and planning steps. This made answering questions much easier and less intimidating. With continued practice under her guidance, my child’s grades steadily improved, and confidence in English grew significantly.
My son ended up with 7 for his final math AA HL IB grade after being with Mr Enrico for 3 years. He has helped him with his math a lot improving from a 5 in sec 4 to a 7 in his final IB exams. He acts more as a friend than a teacher to him and I am really grateful for all he has done.
Thank You Mindlab International!!! There is not much more to say, what we found was exceptional support and commitment from MindLab Tuition Centre!!! I am incredibly grateful to the entire MindLab team for the outstanding support they provided to my daughter, Lara, during her time in Singapore. Their commitment, especially in helping her improve in Chemistry and Physics, was truly remarkable. The tutors were not only extremely knowledgeable, but also genuinely caring and committed to encouraging Lara’s progress. They created a positive and motivating learning environment that made a real difference in her academic progression. A heartfelt thank you to all the amazing tutors and staff at MindLab. Your passion and professionalism have left a lasting impact. 🙏
My daughter had Ms Jenn as her maths SL and physics HL tutor. She was wonderful. She pitched the lessons that resonated with her and when the sessions got a bit too much after a long day, she knew how to switch to other topics yet stay on track. She was flexible and her approach to teaching was a great fit for my daughter and she loved Ms Jenn. We’ve had other IB tutors, and their teaching techniques/style would put my daughter to sleep during her lesson. We are happy to have had Ms Jenn. Our child achieved great results and heading to the university of her choice. Thank you!
My son has had tuition classes with Mr. Sean since IGCSE. He has gotten a 7 in IB English Literature. We would like to thank Mr. Sean for his kind guidance over the years. Mr. Sean has been very supportive of my son’s studies; he tailored the classes according to my son’s progress and had a number of intensive drillings during the final study period, which helped my son to clinch a 7 in the final exam. My son has also had tuition classes with Mr. John in the final preparation for IB Economics SL. Mr. John concentrated on polishing my son’s essay writing and gave many useful pieces of advice. He also guided my son on the choice of real-world examples and helped to devise a revision strategy, which contributed to the final score of 7. We are also very happy with the admin staff at Mindlab, who have been very polite and helpful, answering queries and rescheduling classes efficiently.

Mindlab International has not published a specific per-session rate publicly, so you will need to enquire directly for a current fee schedule. In the Singapore market, test preparation and admissions tuition typically ranges from S$60–150 per session for group classes and S$100–250 per session for one-to-one coaching, depending on the subject, level, and tutor's credentials. Monthly packages and term-based enrolment often work out at a lower effective per-session rate than drop-in bookings. Ask whether there is a separate materials or registration fee, and confirm whether a trial class is available before committing to a full term. Many test preparation and admissions centres in Singapore offer a trial class, sometimes at a reduced fee or at the standard per-session rate, so it is worth asking Mindlab International directly whether this option is available. A trial class is a useful way to assess whether the teaching style, pace, and level of the class are a good fit for your child before you commit to a term or package. When attending a trial, pay attention to how the tutor explains concepts your child finds difficult, the size of the group if applicable, and whether the session is aligned to the specific examination or admissions pathway you are preparing for. If your child is preparing for a high-stakes test with a fixed timeline, confirm the programme's schedule and whether enrolment is still open for the relevant intake.
Mindlab International's published information does not detail individual tutor qualifications, so it is advisable to ask directly when enquiring. For test preparation and admissions coaching, relevant credentials to look for include a degree in the relevant subject, prior NIE or MOE teaching experience, familiarity with the specific examination board or admissions process your child is targeting, and a track record with students at the same level. For internationally benchmarked examinations such as the SAT, IB, IGCSE, or A-Levels, ask whether tutors have been trained on the current syllabus and marking criteria, as these change periodically. Requesting a brief tutor introduction before the first session is a reasonable ask and helps ensure a good fit.
