About Minmed Clinic Buangkok
Minmed Clinic Buangkok is a general practice clinic located at 70 Compassvale Bow, #02-13, Singapore 544692, serving residents in the Buangkok and Sengkang area. The clinic has not been confirmed as ACRA-registered in the data available, and no regulatory licences have been supplied for this listing. It holds a Google rating of 3.4 out of 5 across 234 reviews, which is a robust sample but sits below the 4.0 threshold that would indicate broadly positive patient experience — prospective patients should read the reviews in detail before attending. Pricing is indicated at a mid-range level on a per-visit basis, consistent with private GP consultation norms.
Patients attending a GP clinic typically walk in or book ahead by phone or WhatsApp for a consultation covering acute illness, chronic disease management, health screening, or referral to a specialist. If you have a specific chronic condition such as hypertension, diabetes, or high cholesterol, ask whether the clinic participates in the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP), which allows relevant MediSave withdrawals of up to S$700 per year for approved outpatient treatment. For planned investigations — blood panels, urine tests, or referral letters — bring your identity card and any relevant medical records from prior treating doctors. Integrated Shield Plan (IP) holders should confirm whether the clinic is a panel provider under their insurer before attending, as out-of-pocket costs differ.
To take the next step, contact Minmed Clinic Buangkok directly via WhatsApp, phone, or the online enquiry form to confirm current operating hours, appointment availability, and whether your specific condition or screening need is handled on-site.
Verify the doctor's name on the Singapore Medical Council register and the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before booking, and for any planned procedure request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.
Booked a health screening under corporate scheme (and topped up for the highest tier which costed quite a bit). At 4.45pm I happened to be around the area, so I went up to check if I could do the screening earlier. The receptionists asked if I’m okay to do the screening immediately, even though they were closing at 5pm. Both receptionists (forgot to take their name) were being helpful and polite (only reason why I didn’t want to give 1 star, will get there later), and help processed the screening admin work. After that, I was called into the doctor’s room. When I entered, Dr Tey signalled me to sit down, and started to draw my blood. As I have previous experience of difficulty in blood drawing (due to faint veins), I voiced out my concerns to her. She did manage to draw sufficient blood the first time, albeit with some grumpiness which I wasn’t sure why. Then came the color blindness check. She opened the drawer for the book, then rushed me through the process (not sure if this is SOP but we did two numbers), the entire check took less than 10 seconds. Once I said the second number, she threw the book back into the drawer (okay I get she’s unhappy now). We then proceeded with eyesight test. I was then told to cover one side of my eye. While I was raising my hand to cover, she immediately started moving up with the rows (from smallest to biggest). To which I replied, “I can read the last row of numbers”. She then went back to the smallest numbers. The whole screening was done in about 3 minutes (pretty efficient i guess). I have no qualms on how speedy/efficient the screening is, but honestly I don’t think anyone deserves to face such unpleasant attitude. If Dr Tey was in a rush, she could have rejected me at the start, and I would be more than happy to return at 6pm. Why bother doing the screening, then proceed to show impatience to patients? Referencing the other past reviews, I would suggest to do health screening with other doctors who would have more patience.
The nurses at the counter were very polite and informative. Doctor Edmund Tan was very gentle in extracting my blood for the blood test and gave me good advice on my stomach issues which I have been enduring. He wrote a referral letter for me so that I can do the necessary follow up. Thank you for the great service.
brought my helper for the 6ME test. from registration till completion was fuss free, less than 40 mins. The doc saw her less than 3 mins but queue was not in sequence. Patients have priority over those on medical examinations. Locum doc was young and very friendly, receptionists didn't look friendly but were at least polite. will consider returning if in need.
I would like to express my deep disappointment and concern regarding the treatment my son and I received at your clinic on Monday morning 8 Dec 2025. My 15-year-old son had been suffering from high fever, vomiting, and diarrhoea throughout the night. By morning, he was extremely weak and could barely walk. Understanding the urgency of his condition, I brought him to your clinic seeking immediate medical attention. Upon arrival, I saw several people waiting. I explained to your front desk staff that my son was very weak and required urgent assessment by the doctor. However, the staff member informed me that the queue was full and that the clinic was no longer accepting new patients due to having only one doctor on duty. Despite me highlighting my son’s weak and unstable condition, she still rejected us without offering any form of triage, advice, or assistance. I left your clinic feeling puzzled and highly disappointed. I believe a doctor’s primary duty is to provide medical care, especially in situations involving potential emergencies. The lack of triage or consideration for my son’s condition was alarming and unacceptable. With no other choice, I rushed my son to the nearest polyclinic in Punggol. Upon informing the assistant there about his condition, the staff immediately brought him into an emergency room for assessment and ensured he received prompt medical attention. Their professionalism and urgency were in stark contrast to the response at your clinic. As a clinic located within the community, I believe it is essential that your staff are trained to recognise and prioritise emergency cases, especially involving children. What happened that morning reflects poorly on your clinic and raises concerns about patient safety and the values your clinic upholds. It gave me the impression that the clinic prioritises routine queues over urgent care, which is extremely disappointing. I hope your management will review this incident seriously, provide proper triage training to your staff, and ensure that no other family has to go through the same experience.
The worst experience and they told me they run out of medication when now is only Mar26 and the stock only come in May26. This is medical clinic group and no stock of a common medication for anti itch. The staff is rude. Visiting the clinic is bad too, waste more than an hour to see the doctor but it a total fruitless orocess as my condition is not treated cos of lack of medication n a long queue in a disorganized clinjc

GP consultations at private clinics in Singapore typically run S$25–60, with follow-up visits and prescription costs on top. Common add-ons include investigations such as blood panels (S$60–200), urine tests (S$20–60), X-rays (S$80–150), and vaccinations (S$30–80 depending on the vaccine). GST applies on private medical services. For Singapore Citizens and PRs using the CHAS (Community Health Assist Scheme) or Screen for Life programme, subsidised GP rates may apply — confirm with the clinic whether it is a CHAS-accredited provider before attending. Any planned procedure should be quoted with a written financial estimate splitting insurance, MediSave, and out-of-pocket portions. See the full GP & 24-Hour Clinics cost guide for Singapore →
No regulatory licences have been supplied for this listing, which means KakiList cannot independently confirm that the clinic holds a current MOH Healthcare Services Licence or that the consulting doctor is listed on the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) register. Both are mandatory for legitimate clinic operations in Singapore. Before attending, verify the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence on the MOH licensee directory and look up the consulting doctor by name on the SMC public register at smc.gov.sg to confirm registration status and any specialist accreditation. These checks take under two minutes and protect you from unregistered operators. The absence of licence data in this listing is noted as a concern — contact Minmed Clinic Buangkok directly to request confirmation of their MOH licence number and the consulting doctor's SMC registration.
MediSave can be used for outpatient treatment at approved clinics under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP), covering conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, lipid disorders, asthma, COPD, stroke, and selected mental health conditions, with a withdrawal limit of up to S$700 per year. For general outpatient visits not under CDMP, the standard MediSave outpatient withdrawal limit is S$500 per year. Confirm with the clinic whether it is an approved CDMP provider before your visit. Integrated Shield Plan (IP) holders layering coverage on MediShield Life should check whether the clinic is on their insurer's panel, as this affects reimbursement rates and whether pre-authorisation is required. For any planned procedure at an associated hospital or day-surgery facility, request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises the insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portion before proceeding — this is the most reliable way to avoid an unexpected final bill.
