About Minmed Clinic Jurong Point 24-Hour

Minmed Clinic Jurong Point 24-Hour is a general practice and 24-hour clinic located within Jurong Point shopping mall at 1 Jurong West Central 2, serving residents across the Jurong, Bukit Batok, and wider western Singapore area. The clinic has a 3.8/5 rating across 538 Google reviews, which is a robust sample and suggests a broadly satisfactory patient experience with room for improvement. No regulatory licences are currently listed on this KakiList entry, and ACRA registration has not been confirmed, so prospective patients are encouraged to verify the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence and the consulting doctors' SMC registration directly before attending.

As a 24-hour GP clinic, Minmed Jurong Point is suited to walk-in consultations for acute illness, minor injuries, prescription renewals, and after-hours medical needs when your regular doctor is unavailable. Patients can expect a consultation, clinical assessment, on-site dispensing of common medications, and referral to a specialist or emergency department where clinically warranted. For chronic conditions covered under the Chronic Disease Management Programme — such as hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidaemia, and asthma — CDMP-eligible visits allow MediSave 500/700 withdrawal to offset outpatient costs for Singapore Citizens and PRs. Patients with an Integrated Shield Plan should confirm whether GP claims require pre-authorisation under their specific policy.

To attend, walk in at any hour without a prior appointment, or contact the clinic via WhatsApp, phone, or the online form to confirm wait times or whether a specific service is available before making the trip.

First time at Minmed@JP but I would suggest not coming here if you’re extremely sick and urgently needed to see a doctor because of the long waiting time to collect your prescriptions. The young counter staff with spectacles is helpful and hardworking - registering walk-in customers and also explaining prescribed medicines to customers patiently. The other clinic assistant just taking her time doing work on the computer and packing medicines. Took me less than 10mins for my queue number to be called to see the doctor, a few minutes for doctor consultation but a 50 mins long wait to collect medicine (when there isn’t many customers in front of me). Overall I feel the counter is very shorthanded, the bottleneck for customers who want to register, collect meds & pay the bill. Bad experience.

Appointment on 30 Dec 2025 I would like to share my feedback regarding the clinic service experienced during my helper’s visit. I had booked an appointment three days in advance via WhatsApp for my helper to undergo medical screening and vaccination, and I received a confirmed appointment slot at 2:00 PM. However, upon arrival at the clinic at 2:00 PM and informing the staff that we had already registered for the appointment, I was told that we needed to register again and provide all details once more. I was then issued queue number 116 and had to wait approximately 2.5 hours before seeing the doctor. During registration, I clearly informed the staff on duty that my helper also required vaccination. I was assured that there was no need to worry as the doctor would be informed accordingly. Unfortunately, when we eventually met the doctor, I was told that no vaccination request had been recorded. I explained that the vaccination had already been requested during the online booking three days earlier. The doctor then went to the counter to clarify, and I was informed by another staff member that vaccinations must be booked in advance. I then showed the WhatsApp conversation as proof that the request had indeed been made earlier. In addition, the staff did not inform me in advance that the urine test should ideally be done one week after the end of menstruation for accurate results. My helper had just completed her menstrual cycle, which resulted in the urine sample being unclear for proper assessment. As a result, I now have to bring her back again after one week, causing additional inconvenience and time wasted. This lack of upfront information contributed significantly to an inefficient visit and could have been easily avoided if proper guidance had been provided earlier. Overall, this experience was extremely frustrating due to: • Excessively long waiting time despite a confirmed appointment • Information provided in advance not being properly captured • Repeated explanations to different staff • Lack of coordination and clarity among staff • Missing critical pre-test instructions, resulting in a repeat visit I strongly feel that there is room for improvement, particularly in system efficiency, staff training, and communication of pre-appointment requirements. The lack of clear information and coordination led to unnecessary delays and wasted time. I hope this feedback will be taken constructively and escalated to the Clinic Management Team so that similar experiences can be avoided in the future.

i have visited the clinic twice this week and my experiences have been complete opposites. my initial experience on Tuesday was good (i would’ve easily given it 5 stars) - the clinic was clean, doctor was actively listening, no major issues with the reception. which is why i returned today for a follow up visit. it was 11.30am when i reached and the clinic was not crazily packed. when my turn was called, i was assigned to the Locum Doctor, and i therefore headed towards Room 2 which is labeled “Locum Doctor”. i knocked, waited a while, before i entered the room only to be chased away by the doctor telling me to go to the other room. i was puzzled as there was a name assigned to the doctor in Room 1 and when i looked towards the reception, i was just brushed off with a “ya ya, that room”. i provided feedback that the signs were misleading, and i just received a very nonchalant response. when i went into Room 1 and i again tried to provide feedback on the situation, i was met with the doctor telling me “don’t tell me, i’m just a covering doctor. tell the reception.” i guess it’s happened a lot since the clinic opened for the day, for this doctor to be so defensive so shouldn’t the team have done something about the mix up in room labeling? it really wasn’t particularly crowded when i went so i don’t see what’s the issue here. i would love to have provided feedback in another manner, but the only option available on the whatsapp recap of my service today (love this by the way) via google reviews.

Went to Minmed at Jurong Point for a simple medical screening (no doctor consultation involved). Reception was prompt and efficient, doing their best to clear the queue quickly. The staff provided clear and precise explanations, making the whole process smooth. I was pleasantly surprised that everything was completed in less than 30 minutes …. even though I was 4th in the queue. This is a huge contrast to my past experience at another medical centre where it took over an hour even when I was only second in line. Overall, the process was smooth and hassle-free.

I have to tell about the doctor that drew blood for me today. I had always faced much complication when it comes to drawing blood out, but I tell you, dr Louis was so good. I didn’t feel pain at all, it was very easy and smooth. And he made me feel so good. Anyone who is scared of needle, or always face complications in drawing blood out, you need to book an appointment with when this dr is around for your blood checkup, it will ease the entire process for you.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Minmed Clinic Jurong Point 24-Hour charge?

GP consultation fees at private 24-hour clinics in Singapore typically range from S$25 to S$60 during standard hours, with an after-hours or overnight surcharge of S$10–30 on top for visits between roughly 11pm and 7am, and a further surcharge on public holidays. Investigations billed on top of the consultation include a blood panel (S$60–200), urine tests, rapid antigen tests, and any prescribed medications. GST applies on private medical services. For patients with the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP), MediSave can be used to offset outpatient costs up to S$500 per year (S$700 for CDMP-listed chronic conditions) at approved clinics. Confirm whether Minmed Jurong Point is an approved CDMP provider and whether your specific condition is covered before assuming MediSave applies. For any planned procedure or referral generated at the clinic, request a written financial estimate that splits insurance, MediSave, and out-of-pocket portions. Is Minmed Clinic Jurong Point 24-Hour MOH-licensed and how do I verify the doctor?

No regulatory licences are currently listed for this clinic on KakiList. Every legitimate clinic must hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence issued under the Healthcare Services Act — verifiable on the MOH licensee directory at moh.gov.sg. Every practising doctor in Singapore must be registered with the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) — searchable by name at smc.gov.sg, where you can confirm registration status, any specialist accreditation, and disciplinary history. Minmed is a multi-outlet GP group operating across Singapore, and the Jurong Point branch should hold both a premises licence and employ SMC-registered doctors. However, because neither licence nor ACRA registration is confirmed on this listing, patients are strongly advised to verify both the clinic's MOH licence and the consulting doctor's SMC entry directly before attending. This is particularly important for patients seeking CDMP enrolment or MediSave claims, as unlicensed or non-approved premises are not eligible.

How do I use MediSave or insurance at Minmed Clinic Jurong Point 24-Hour?

Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) layered on MediShield Life generally cover private specialist and inpatient care rather than routine GP visits — most IP policies do not reimburse standard GP consultations unless the visit leads to a hospital admission or a rider specifically covers outpatient GP claims. Check your policy terms before assuming coverage applies. MediSave can be used at approved outpatient clinics under the MediSave 500/700 scheme — S$500 per year for general outpatient GP visits and S$700 per year for CDMP-listed chronic conditions including hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidaemia, asthma, COPD, stroke, and selected mental health conditions. Confirm that Minmed Jurong Point is enrolled as an approved CDMP provider with MOH before expecting MediSave to apply. For any investigation or referral generated during your visit, request an itemised receipt that separates the consultation, medications, and tests — this is needed for any subsequent insurance or MediSave claim submission.
