I did a health screening. Excellent and professional service from Dr Steffi Aw and the counter staff. In comparison, when I did a health checkup last year at *Farrer Park* Minmed, my waist read 10 cm larger, even though I’m exactly the same weight as before. During then, when I tried to clarify with the counter and the doctor, they were very dismissive and insisted they were correct 😅 I’ll be going to Minmed Novena. Never going back to Minmed Farrer Park.

Scheduled for a 9am health screening appointment with Minmed Novena today. Arrived punctually but was informed at the door that the receptionist would be 30min late and so the doors cannot be opened till then. Surprised that the clinic operations hinges on the one receptionist. I went back at 9.30am and patiently waited to speak to the receptionist as she was attending to a patient. Asked if I could add additional screening options to my basic health screening package - her curt response was to do it myself via the app. Told her I could not locate such function on my app - her answer to me was "then cannot" & screening (of which one option is included in my package) had to be done at Paragon, not at the Novena clinic (which could only carry out the basic tests). Are not both clinics under the Minmed Group? I politely asked to be linked up with Paragon clinic to enquire if I could add screening options - the receptionist just said they do not have a number. The nonchalent attitude, curt response and impatient tone were totally uncalled for. I did not wait half an hour for her to be treated in this manner. I no longer wish to proceed with Minmed for my health screening (not going to pay to be mistreated) & asked if the package could be cancelled. "Cancel via the app" was her response. Again, I showed her there was no such function on the app. She had to initiate the cancellation on the clinic's computer - then looked at me and said cancelled. How was I to know that I would be refunded for the prior payment - her impatient response was that she cancelled already. Super unprofessional - an ill fit for the role of a clinic receptionist. If she is not happy with the job, she should just quit & not take it out on customers.

I am writing to share feedback regarding my recent visit, specifically my experience at the reception. Unfortunately, the reception process was very disorganised, and it was unclear what was happening throughout the visit. I waited more than 15 minutes just to receive my referral letter. During this time, the receptionist appeared unsure of the process and was frequently on the phone with another party trying to resolve blood test–related issues involving the external lab. While I understand that operational issues can arise, the situation gave the impression of inexperience and lack of preparedness at the front desk. I believe Minmed generally upholds a good standard of care, which is why this experience stood out. I hope this feedback can be used constructively to improve reception training, communication, and overall patient flow, as these greatly affect the patient experience.

V pleasant experience. Clinic wasn't crowded. Felt catered to with personalized service by both doctor & Receptionist. Both were extending & went beyond minimum in making the experience nice. Atmosphere was friendly & relaxed. Doctor gave extra information & was caring & professional. Made me want to make this my regular clinic!

Terrible experience. Despite booking a prior appointment with a queue number already issued in the app—and informing the reception of it—she completely ignored it and assigned me a walk-in queue number instead. What should have been an on-time appointment turned into a 1.5-hour wait. What’s the point of offering appointment scheduling if the clinic doesn’t follow through? To make matters worse, the GP (not the usual female doctor) was extremely slow between patients, even though the consultation itself took less than five min. On top of that, the bill was extremely expensive for very basic medication (Consultation fee alone was $32). I will avoid coming here in future and will opt for a tele-consult with another provider instead.
