The clinic has been verified by KakiList, meaning operating details and contact channels have been confirmed by a real person. For a first visit to a GP clinic, patients typically walk in or call ahead to check waiting times. A standard consultation covers presenting symptoms, examination, diagnosis, prescription, and a referral letter if specialist care is warranted. For ongoing chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, or high cholesterol, GP clinics participating in the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP) allow MediSave withdrawal of up to S$700 per year for outpatient treatment at approved facilities. For planned investigations — blood panels, urine tests, or X-rays — the clinic will advise on fasting requirements and turnaround time. Patients with Integrated Shield Plans should confirm whether the policy covers GP visits or outpatient investigations before the appointment.
To get started, reach Mission Hougang Medical Clinic via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to check consultation hours and current waiting times before making your way down.

Verify the doctor's name on the Singapore Medical Council register and the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before booking, and for any planned procedure request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.
Dr Leong is very patient , detailed and caring about patient’s past health records and symptoms. He is very experienced and knowledgeable and gives very practical and clear advice including self care . Would highly recommend him including those of you who may need a second opinion .
Dr Leong has been our family Dr for the past 15 years and he has been fantastic! He does not unnecessarily prescribe medications, and takes a cautious approach to treatment. Always discussing his treatment plans with us. He is very attentive and accessible which builds our confidence.
First time visiting the clinic and was happy with the outcome. The staff/secretary/assistant was very accommodating. Also as a first time patient, she made the registration very easy which is much appreciated considering I was unwell. The doctor was excellent. I like this style of getting to know the patient, having a light conversation as it made me feel relaxed and a bit better already. I did not feel like I was just part of an assembly line of patients. I felt the care and empathy of the doctor.
Dr Leong is a very caring doctor and one of the very best GP in Singapore. Queue may be very long, or he may have frequent outcalls - not surprising given his popularity. Staff has photographic memory, can remember patient name although we only visit a few times a year.
I have know dr Leong CK for many many years. One of the best GP you will find. Over the years he has taught me and hubby to understand our conditions and discuss the issues at hand. He is rather chatty yes, and patients have complained of long wait but precisely because of his dedication, and his heart for people I don’t mind waiting. He sees every patient as a human and treats them medically humanly. Doesn't just dismiss you with more antibiotics because you come back with the same issue again. If your condition is chronic you can request to go first. If it’s not for distance, CK will still be my no. 1 choice as our family doc.

GP consultations at private and independent GP clinics in Singapore typically run S$25–60 per visit, with additional charges for investigations such as blood panels (S$60–200), urine tests, or X-rays (S$80–150) and any prescribed medications. Mission Hougang Medical Clinic displays a mid-range price indicator ($$), which generally suggests consultation fees in the S$30–50 band, though exact fees should be confirmed directly before your visit. For Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents with subsidised access via a polyclinic referral to a public hospital specialist outpatient clinic, fees can be as low as S$30–80 after subsidy. GST applies on private medical consultations and procedures. For any planned investigation or procedure, ask for an itemised estimate that separates consultation, investigation, and medication costs so you can plan your MediSave or insurance claim accordingly. No regulatory licence information is currently listed for Mission Hougang Medical Clinic on KakiList. Every legitimate GP clinic in Singapore is required to hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence issued under the Healthcare Services Act — this is verifiable on the MOH licensee directory at moh.gov.sg. Every practising doctor must also be registered on the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) public register at smc.gov.sg, where you can search by name to confirm registration status and any disciplinary history. Before your appointment, it is advisable to check both the clinic's MOH licence entry and the consulting doctor's SMC registration. Neither check alone is sufficient — confirm both. If either cannot be located, contact MOH directly for clarification before proceeding with treatment.
MediSave can be used at GP clinics approved under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP), which covers conditions including hypertension, diabetes, lipid disorders, asthma, stroke, and selected mental health conditions — allowing withdrawal of up to S$700 per year for outpatient treatment at approved CDMP providers. The general outpatient MediSave withdrawal limit is S$500 per year for non-CDMP outpatient claims. Confirm with the clinic whether it is a CDMP-approved provider before your visit if you intend to use MediSave. Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) layered on MediShield Life primarily cover inpatient stays and day surgery rather than routine GP consultations, though some riders include outpatient benefits — check your policy documents. For any investigation or referral that may escalate to a specialist or hospital, request a referral letter from the GP as this can affect your subsidy eligibility and insurance pathway. For planned procedures, always request a written financial counselling estimate splitting insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before agreeing to proceed.
