About Mom's Cooking Pte Ltd
Mom's Cooking Pte Ltd is a confinement food catering service operating islandwide from its Woodlands kitchen. It holds a 4.7/5 rating across 649 Google reviews, a robust sample that provides meaningful confidence in service consistency. Pricing is positioned in the mid-range ($$) and is offered on a package basis; contact the provider directly for current package rates.
The typical journey begins by deciding on package length — a standard 28-day programme covers the full confinement period, though shorter 7-day or 14-day options suit mothers who want to trial the food before committing. Most packages deliver two trays per day (lunch and dinner), with herbal soups, red dates tea, and longan tea either bundled or available as add-ons — confirm this in writing before paying any deposit. Meals are cooked the same day and delivered hot islandwide, typically within a 4-hour cooked-to-delivery window. Enquire about the dietary tradition offered (Cantonese being the most common in Singapore), whether the menu rotates daily or repeats weekly, and whether a low-spice or no-rice-wine option is available for breastfeeding mothers. Packaging should be BPA-free and microwave-safe. A trial meal, where available, is worth requesting before committing to a full package, as personal taste matters considerably.
To get started, call or submit an enquiry via the website form, confirm your due date and dietary requirements, and ask about current package pricing, delivery slots, and trial meal availability before placing a deposit.
Order a trial meal and confirm the SFA hygiene grade (and MUIS halal certificate if relevant) before paying the package deposit.
Ordered for my family and food was really delicious. Amount served was also generous. Love the miso salmon dish the most. Curry chick is also really good. Overall will order again and recommend to others to give it a try too
The very idea of ordering tingkit was initially not very appealing to my family, as we have had several past experiences where dinner was delivered as early as 2–3 pm. However, after reading the many positive reviews about Mom’s Cooking, we decided to give it a try. When I reached home at around 5.30 pm, I was pleasantly surprised that the soup was still warm, which showed that the food had been delivered not long before. My husband even commented that this was by far the best tingkit meal we have ever had. Overall, it was a truly pleasant and delightful dining experience for our family, and we look forward to enjoying more meals from Mom’s Cooking.
I tried a few catering services, and I like Mom’s Cook the most. Although the price is a little higher, we’re paying for quality, efficiency, taste, and health. I like their salmon, prawns, and especially the corn soup with herbs. The best part is, all the dishes are MSG-free 😊 As a working mom, I try very hard to juggle between work and personal life. I highly recommend Mom’s Cook to other working moms — it saves time and gives us more quality bonding moments with our kids. #Healthytingkat #NoMSG #Workingmom
The best tingkat delivery that we ordered so far. There was no processed food. Every meal comes with one spicy dish which is the thing I love to solve my cravings. Soup is very delicious. I like the taste of how they cook the vegetable too. Although the price is slightly higher compared to other tingkat, but it was worth it. It would be good if they allow reschedule of meal instead of cancellation of meal. This would allow greater flexibility for customer who are keen to renew the 20 days package with certain unavailability day.
We’ve tried two tingkat providers, and both have their own strengths. Mom’s Cooking stands out for their generous portions — we ordered a 2-person plan to share among two adults and two children, and it was more than sufficient for all of us. The soups are especially impressive, made with quality ingredients. Even my mum, who has been cooking at home for years, gave her compliments. It truly feels worth the money. Delivery is also prompt — we ordered for dinner and received it by 4pm (perhaps because we live nearby), which gives us the flexibility to start our meal earlier if we wish. Thumbs up!

Mom's Cooking Pte Ltd prices packages at a mid-range ($$) level; contact the provider directly for current rates, as confinement food packages are typically quoted seasonally. For context, the Singapore market for 28-day confinement meal packages runs broadly from S$1,200 to S$2,800, depending on the number of trays per day, whether herbal soups and tonics are bundled, and the dietary tradition offered. Confirm in writing how many trays are included per day (typically two — lunch and dinner — or three with breakfast added), whether red dates tea, longan tea, and herbal soups are included or billed separately, and whether there is a delivery surcharge for addresses in landed estates or non-central locations. Shorter 7-day or 14-day trial packages may be available at a proportionately lower cost. See the full confinement food cost guide for Singapore →
Singapore confinement food traditions vary across Cantonese (the most widely offered — warming herbal soups, ginger, sesame oil, rice wine), Hokkien, Teochew, Western-style postnatal, halal, and vegetarian. Confirm with Mom's Cooking Pte Ltd which tradition their kitchen follows, whether the daily menu rotates or repeats weekly, and whether dishes can be adjusted for breastfeeding mothers who prefer low-spice or no-rice-wine preparation. A trial meal — typically priced at S$30–60 per day — is worth requesting before committing to a full 28-day deposit. Confinement appetite shifts considerably in the first week postpartum, and tasting the actual food is a far more reliable guide than reviewing the printed menu. Ask specifically whether a trial day option is offered and how to book it.
Legitimate confinement food caterers operating in Singapore are required to hold an SFA Food Shop Licence or Catering Licence, and the premises should carry a hygiene grade (A is highest, through to D). Ask Mom's Cooking Pte Ltd directly for their SFA licence number and current hygiene grade before paying any deposit — this information should be readily available from a licensed operator. If halal certification is important to you, a MUIS halal certificate should appear on both the provider's documentation and the meal packaging itself. Meals should be cooked on the day of delivery and dispatched hot in BPA-free, microwave-safe containers within approximately a 4-hour cooked-to-delivery window. Confirm the twice-daily delivery time slots (typically 11am–1pm for lunch and 5pm–7pm for dinner), and clarify the substitute or refund policy in the event of a missed delivery. Order a trial meal and confirm the SFA hygiene grade (and MUIS halal certificate if relevant) before paying the package deposit.
