Most families begin by reviewing the available package options — typically a 28-day programme covering lunch and dinner deliveries, with some caterers adding a breakfast tray — and then ordering a trial meal before committing to the full deposit. Confinement food in Singapore follows several culinary traditions: Cantonese (the most prevalent, featuring warming herbal soups, sesame oil, and ginger), Hokkien, Teochew, Western-style postnatal, halal, and vegetarian. Confirm which tradition Mummy's Needs follows, whether the daily menu rotates or repeats weekly, and whether herbal soups, red dates tea, and longan tea are bundled into the package price or billed separately. Delivery is typically twice daily — lunch around 11am–1pm and dinner around 5pm–7pm — in microwave-safe, BPA-free containers within a four-hour cooked-to-delivery window. If your address is landed property or outside the central region, ask whether a delivery surcharge applies.
To get started, contact Mummy's Needs via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form on their listing, request a trial meal, and confirm the full package terms — including delivery slots, packaging, and the refund or substitute policy for missed deliveries — before paying any deposit.
Order a trial meal and confirm the SFA hygiene grade (and MUIS halal certificate if relevant) before paying the package deposit.
Engaging NewBubs for confinement was the best decision ever. Our confinement nanny (May Quah) allocated to us was knowledgeable and experienced, she guided us through the entire period and not only did she provide comfort for the baby, she also gave us plenty of assurances along the way as first time parents. Whenever I’m up for my nightly pumps, she will prepare hot beverages for me. She’s clean and is a great cook. She takes good care of my dog too! With her easygoing and likeable personality, my family also bonded quickly with her and were sad to see her leave. With this great first time experience with NewBubs, I would highly recommend NewBubs as the number one choice for confinement nannies and will definitely look for May again if I have a second pregnancy.
Our nanny Kien has a very fun loving energy that was very helpful for first time anxious parents like us. She communicates well in person & on WhatsApp to keep us updated on baby’s feeding timings, diaper change etc giving us a peace of mind while we’re resting in another room. She took great care of both baby and I. She was personally invested to feed me well so I can produce good milk for my baby. Overall very accommodating, efficient, experienced & easy going. Would highly recommend her to new mummies & would definitely engage her again should we have a second baby in future! 🤗
We were extremely fortunate to have such an amazing confinement nanny Mei Ling Jie (Chong Moi Leng) with us. She was just like a mother—providing extra care, concern, and genuine warmth throughout her stay. What stood out most was how detailed and patient she was in teaching us everything we needed to know as new parents. From proper feeding techniques, to putting the baby to sleep, to understanding bowel routines, and even showing us how to bathe the baby safely—her priority was always the baby’s well-being. Her kindness and love for our little one were obvious every single day. We felt completely at ease leaving our baby in her care, allowing us to rest well at night without worry. She handled every task with gentleness and professionalism, and our baby adored her too. We are deeply grateful for her dedication, patience, and the peace of mind she gave us. Before the end of contract, she even managed baby’s routines so well that it was a breeze when we took over! Truly an exceptional confinement nanny—highly recommended.
This is the first time for me to consider confinement nanny service and I can say I'm glad to have trusted NewBubs Confinement Agency! From the initial phone call with Lloyd, there was already a good understanding of my needs and they focused on flexible and quality terms of services rather than just discussing costs and rates. Special mention to our assigned professional nanny, Auntie Chris - who made my postpartum/confinement journey smooth and memorable. Aside from her knowledge in taking care of a newborn and looking after me through well planned meals to supporting my breastfeeding choice, she is also proactive and able to connect and establish good chemistry with my other kids and other household members. I would highly recommend her and this agency. Thanks again for this good experience!
Engaged newbubs for our first born for 40 days. The process is very easy with clear instructions and timeline on what to expect. Hua Jie (Flower Sis) was assigned to us. She was really caring towards baby, and patient in teaching us as we are first time parents. Her cooking is really good as well! She also did not give us any problems at all. Really thankful for newbubs and Hua Jie to make our first step in parenting so much easier, we were both able to get ample rest with such an experienced nanny

Mummy's Needs has not published a specific package price on this listing, so you will need to enquire directly for current rates. As a reference, Singapore confinement food packages for 28 days typically run between S$1,200 and S$2,800, depending on the number of trays per day and whether herbal soups, red dates tea, longan tea, and confinement tonics are included or priced separately. Shorter 7-day or 14-day trial packages are offered by many caterers and are worth asking about before committing to the full programme. Also confirm whether there is a delivery surcharge for landed properties or addresses further from the central region, and whether the price differs for 2-tray-per-day (lunch and dinner) versus a 3-tray option that adds breakfast. Singapore confinement food caterers typically specialise in one or more culinary traditions — Cantonese (warming herbal soups, ginger, sesame oil, rice wine), Hokkien, Teochew, Western-style postnatal, halal, or vegetarian. Contact Mummy's Needs directly to confirm which tradition their kitchen follows, whether the daily menu rotates to avoid repetition across 28 days, and whether dishes can be adjusted for breastfeeding mothers who prefer low-spice or alcohol-free preparations. Before paying the package deposit, it is strongly advisable to order a trial meal. Most reputable caterers offer a single-day tasting at approximately S$30–60. Confinement appetite and taste preferences shift daily after delivery, and a trial meal is a far more reliable indicator of fit than a printed menu.
Mummy's Needs Confinement Services is ACRA-registered, confirming it is a legally constituted business entity in Singapore. However, no SFA Food Shop Licence or Catering Licence is currently listed on this profile. Before paying any deposit, ask the provider to confirm their SFA licence number and hygiene grade — A is the highest rating, followed by B, C, and D. If a halal option is offered, a valid MUIS halal certificate should appear on all packaging. Confinement meals are cooked on the day of delivery and dispatched hot in microwave-safe, BPA-free containers, typically within a four-hour cooked-to-delivery window. Confirm the twice-daily delivery time slots, the packaging type, and the policy for missed or late deliveries — including whether a substitute meal or refund is provided. Order a trial meal and confirm the SFA hygiene grade (and MUIS halal certificate if relevant) before paying the package deposit.
