About MuscleMath
MuscleMath is a private tuition provider operating islandwide across Singapore, listed on KakiList as a verified business and registered with ACRA. It holds a Google rating of 4.9 out of 5 based on 20 reviews — a modest sample that should be treated as directional rather than conclusive. The provider is priced at the mid-range tier and is based at Royal Square, 103 Irrawaddy Road, #02-20, Singapore 329566.
Parents and students enquiring about MuscleMath should begin by confirming which level and syllabus the tutor covers — whether that is PSLE, O-Level, A-Level, IP, IB, or another curriculum — and whether sessions are conducted on a one-to-one or small-group basis. It is also worth clarifying whether tuition takes place at the Royal Square centre or online, the frequency of sessions, and whether a term commitment is required. Asking about a trial class before signing up for a package is a sensible first step to assess teaching style, pacing, and level appropriateness for the student.
To take the next step, reach out to MuscleMath via WhatsApp, phone, or the online enquiry form to ask about available slots for your child's level and subject, confirm the session format, and arrange a trial class.
Take the trial class and confirm the tutor's actual credentials before committing to a term.

I was struggling with math and decided to join muscle math after attending a crash course. Ms Fou’s teaching method as well as her patience made me understood concepts that seemed difficult. Slowly with her guidance , I was able to learn new concepts easily and scored better in my school exams. She would also reply to my questions as soon as she saw it and I am grateful to have a math tutor like her :)
Mr Tan is an amazing math tutor who is super dedicated to helping all of his students. Ever since i joined Musclemath, his methods of teaching have allowed me to achieve constant A throughout my 2 years in JC and an A in Alevels as well. 🎊☺️👏😱
Mr Tan is the most patient and knowledgeable math tutor ever! I have tried some math tutors from reputable tuition centres but none have been as good as Mr Tan! He is very good with transferring his knowledge and also gives advice on life LOOL😂😂 BEST MATH TUTOR IN SG!!
Musclemath has been a chief asset for me throughout JC. The worksheets, online resources and compiled booklets were instrumental in exposing me to diverse question types and methods. Every lesson is effectively planned and executed, with the tutors laying out the agenda beforehand, focusing on the key question types and allowing different students to move at their chosen pace. The materials are compiled in a very concise and digestible manner that makes them handy for both learning and revision. Mr Tan and Ms Fou are excellent teachers. They write out their workings step-by-step neatly, explain the thought process and include diagrams and proofs, thereby consistently promoting conceptual understanding rather than rote learning. They are also very sensitive to the students’ learning pace. They make it a point to check up on us during breaks or after class if we looked confused during the lesson. When answering questions, they really try to pinpoint the source of confusion and find new ways to explain the concept. They also respond to queries online very quickly, writing out and taking pictures of their method and recording their explanations. The admin staff are very supportive as well, in that they cater to students’ busy schedules by making it easy for us to opt for online lessons over face-to-face ones. They are also prompt in sending answer keys, rearranging classes and answering questions. The Musclemath team has worked closely with me to make sure I get the most out of their lessons, and have been instrumental in my learning.

MuscleMath is listed at a mid-range price tier, though a specific per-session or monthly rate is not publicly displayed. Private tuition in Singapore is typically priced per session or bundled into monthly or term packages, and rates vary depending on the student's level, whether the format is one-to-one or group, and the tutor's experience. It is worth asking whether a materials or workbook fee applies separately, and whether sibling discounts or package rates are available for multiple sessions per week. Contact MuscleMath directly via WhatsApp, phone, or the online form to request a full fee schedule before committing. See the full Private Tutors cost guide for Singapore →
It is advisable to ask MuscleMath whether a trial class is available before signing up for a term or package. A trial session allows the student to experience the teaching approach first-hand and gives the tutor a chance to assess the student's current level and identify gaps. When evaluating fit, consider whether the pacing suits the student, whether explanations are clear, and whether the student leaves the session feeling more confident. Some providers charge a standard session rate for the trial; others offer it at a reduced rate or as part of a first-month arrangement. Confirm the trial fee and any commitment required after the trial before attending.
Specific tutor credentials for MuscleMath are not listed in the available provider information. When enquiring, it is worth asking directly about the tutor's educational background, whether they have NIE training or prior MOE teaching experience, the number of years they have been tutoring, and which syllabuses they are familiar with — for instance MOE, IB, IGCSE, or AP. For subjects with structured national examinations such as Mathematics at PSLE, O-Level, or A-Level, ask whether the tutor has a strong track record with students at your child's specific level. Contacting MuscleMath via WhatsApp or phone is the most direct way to get this information before booking. Take the trial class and confirm the tutor's actual credentials before committing to a term.
