About My Family Clinic Angsana Breeze Yishun

About My Family Clinic Angsana Breeze Yishun

My Family Clinic Angsana Breeze Yishun is a general practice clinic located at 507 Yishun Ave 4, serving residents across Yishun and the broader north of Singapore. The clinic holds a 3.5/5 rating across 106 Google reviews — a robust sample that provides a reasonably reliable picture of patient experience. Pricing is positioned at a mid-range level; specific consultation fees were not provided and should be confirmed directly with the clinic.

For a first visit, patients can expect a consultation with a GP covering presenting symptoms, clinical examination, and, where appropriate, referral for investigations such as blood panels, urine tests, or X-rays. Common presentations handled at a GP level include acute illness (fever, upper respiratory tract infection, gastroenteritis), chronic disease management under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP) — which covers conditions such as hypertension, type 2 diabetes, hyperlipidaemia, asthma, and selected mental health conditions — and routine health screening. Where specialist care is required, the GP can issue a referral letter to a public hospital Specialist Outpatient Clinic, which carries a lower subsidised co-payment for Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents than a direct private specialist visit. MediSave withdrawal limits of S$500 per year apply for general outpatient CDMP claims and S$700 per year for the expanded CDMP list; patients with Integrated Shield Plans should check whether outpatient GP visits are covered under their rider.

Dr and staff (the humans) are good, app software is a joke. Took queue number early but was informed the app queue number always starts from 5 instead of 1. Might as well be any other arbitrary number like 1778? Illogical idiotic programmers. Still came by early and was no.2 in the in-person queue, staff asked me "if you want a new queue number?" without elaborating. Only upon 2nd time i approach them then they begin to inform me physical queue starts from 1 and online queue starts from 5 (why?). By then the next best number they can give me is 4, not 2. Case study of good intention but total jokers in implementation. The tech is good, the human staff are good. But when the tech and human come together the experience becomes a total joke because the CTO and programmers are jokers who don't care how things are run on-the-ground.

I am extremely disappointed and disturbed by the way I was treated at this clinic. I visited due to an allergic reaction. I was willing to wait, but my condition started worsening — my throat felt like it was closing up and I was struggling to breathe. Out of concern for my safety, my mom approached the clinic assistant to ask if I could see the doctor sooner. Instead of receiving help or empathy, I was met with a rude and dismissive response: “Huh? You sore eyes, why you suddenly cannot breathe?” This was said with no concern or professionalism whatsoever. To make things worse, I later found out that my condition was wrongly recorded as “sore eyes” when I clearly stated it was an allergic reaction. I was told to wait in a very condescending tone, as if I was exaggerating or trying to skip the queue. I could hear the assistant speaking to the doctor, saying things like “She looks fine only,” and both of them decided to ignore my situation. This was shocking and unacceptable. You do not judge a medical emergency by how someone “looks.” I was not trying to skip the queue — I was genuinely struggling to breathe. Feeling unsafe and unheard, I left the clinic immediately and went straight to the ER. This was my first and last visit here. The lack of empathy, professionalism, and basic patient care is deeply disappointing. No patient should ever be treated this way, especially when experiencing a potentially serious medical condition.

Visited doctor twice. Once for myself and the very next day, for both wife and son. Whilst Dr Nat was wonderful, couldn't say the same for the Chinese clinic assistance. Very rude and cant be bothered attitude! I wonder why a clinic chain that has built up it's reputation over the years should risk it's reputation over a Chinese clinic assistance (plump girl). Rang up doctor to check if it is normal for son to be vomiting whole day after taking tamiflu but she refuses to even check with doctor if that is norm. Her curt reply was " Doctor doesnt talk to anyone , come down yourself " No empathy, no responsibility and definitely don't think is the ethics of a medical profession. Would definitely be seeking some form of redress to this as I heard the founder is a Doctor Barry Thng, a somewhat established and caring doctor I heard unless all these are also marketing gimmicks !

Dr tey inn kuang is by far the worst doctor i have ever met. He gave me a rude face and black face throughout the consultation and purposely tried to not give me an MC. I asked for MC to be written with unfit for exam but he insisted to not? But still gave me my mc with no remarks i needed for my absence for the exam. Really felt like i was talking to a rock except with a rude attitude. Pls fire this doctor immediately.

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the recent experience I had with your clinic regarding a medical certificate (MC) for my son. On Monday evening, August 25, 2025, my son was seen by Dr. Ziko at your clinic for Hand, Foot, and Mouth Disease (HFMD). Today, August 27, 2025, I received an email from his school requesting the submission of a medical certificate. When I contacted your clinic staff to request the MC, I was informed that there would be a charge of over $20. I am quite surprised and disappointed by this additional fee. I believe it would be beneficial if your clinic could handle patients with a greater sense of understanding, especially concerning standard documentation related to a recent consultation.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does My Family Clinic Angsana Breeze Yishun charge?

Specific consultation fees were not provided and should be confirmed directly with the clinic. As a general reference, GP consultations at private clinics in Singapore typically run S$25–60 per visit, rising to S$40–80 with investigations such as a basic blood panel, throat swab, or urine test. GST applies on private medical services. For Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents managing chronic conditions listed under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP), MediSave can offset outpatient costs up to S$500 or S$700 per year depending on the condition. If you hold a polyclinic or GP referral letter, specialist outpatient visits at public hospitals attract a lower subsidised rate of roughly S$30–80 for Citizens. Any planned investigations or procedures should be quoted with a written breakdown splitting insurance, MediSave, and out-of-pocket portions. See the full GP & 24-Hour Clinics cost guide for Singapore →

Is My Family Clinic Angsana Breeze Yishun MOH-licensed and how do I verify the doctor?

No regulatory licences were listed in the information provided for this clinic. Every legitimate GP clinic is required to hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence under the Healthcare Services Act — verifiable on the MOH licensee directory — and every practising doctor must appear on the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) public register at smc.gov.sg. You can search by the doctor's name to confirm registration status, specialist accreditation, and any disciplinary history. Patients are encouraged to confirm both the clinic's MOH licence and the consulting doctor's SMC registration before booking, particularly if the visit involves a procedure, a controlled medication, or a specialist referral. Neither the clinic licence nor the doctor's SMC registration alone is sufficient — both should be verified. If the clinic cannot provide its MOH licence number on request, that is a significant concern and should prompt caution.

How do I use MediSave or insurance at My Family Clinic Angsana Breeze Yishun?

MediSave can be used for outpatient GP visits under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP) for listed conditions including hypertension, type 2 diabetes, hyperlipidaemia, stroke, asthma, COPD, and selected mental health conditions, up to S$500 per year (or S$700 for the expanded CDMP list). For outpatient cancer treatment, kidney dialysis, and selected scans, separate MediSave 200/600 limits apply. Routine acute consultations for colds or gastroenteritis are generally not MediSave-claimable on an outpatient basis. If you hold an Integrated Shield Plan (IP) layered on MediShield Life, check whether your rider covers GP outpatient visits — many riders do not cover GP-level consultations, though they typically cover day surgery and inpatient stays subject to the plan's deductible and co-insurance terms. For any planned procedure, request a financial counselling session at the clinic and ask for a written estimate that separates insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket cost before proceeding. Skipping this step is the most common reason patients are surprised by their final bill.
