About My Family Clinic Choa Chu Kang Sunshine Place
My Family Clinic Choa Chu Kang Sunshine Place is a general practice clinic located at Block 475, Choa Chu Kang Avenue 3, serving residents in the Choa Chu Kang and surrounding western Singapore areas. The clinic is KakiList-verified, meaning operating details and contact channels have been confirmed by a real person. Its Google rating stands at 2.1 out of 5 across 107 reviews — a statistically robust sample that prospective patients should weigh carefully before booking. No MOH Healthcare Services Licence or SMC registration details are currently listed on this profile, and ACRA registration has not been confirmed; both should be verified directly with the clinic before your first visit.
For a GP visit, patients typically walk in or book by phone or via the clinic's contact form. At a first consultation, the doctor will take a clinical history, perform an examination, and where necessary arrange investigations such as a blood panel or referral to a specialist. GP clinics under the Community Health Assist Scheme (CHAS) allow Singapore Citizens and PRs holding CHAS cards to access subsidised consultations for common illnesses and selected chronic conditions; the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP) covers ongoing management of conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, and lipid disorders, with MediSave 500/700 outpatient withdrawal limits applicable. If a specialist referral is required, the clinic can issue a referral letter to a public hospital Specialist Outpatient Clinic, which reduces the consultation cost substantially for subsidised patients.
Contact My Family Clinic Choa Chu Kang Sunshine Place by phone or through the enquiry form to confirm current consultation hours, CHAS participation, and doctor availability before making your way to the clinic.

Trust the bad rating. The clinic, doctor and whoever that owns this clinic give zero consideration about the poor service. Truly the worst private gp clinic with horrible system. I was one of the first 3 walk ins and was given queue number 3 but somehow when patients who booked online came, they were given priority. Ridiculous. Clinic should have been more transparent about the number of patients ahead so that we can make a more informed decision if we want to waste our time
My husband went to see doc 18/11/25.Doctor just see his leg and say is shingles but after taking medicine became worse. Going to see other doc at lot 1.doc say is virus infection. So ask him go A&E on Sat 22/11/25 immediately. Now at nuh. Yest operation now stay for obversation
Came here with 39.8c fever and tad bit of breathlessness at 6pm. Even 9pm also not my turn to see doctor despite clinic only having 3 patients solely for vaccination purposes. Told me I am next but proceed to give next 2 walk-in patients first because I’m younger in age? (Despite having high fever.) ridiculous! Risk your own life if you want to come to this clinic!
doesnt make sense.i came early.was the 4th person.but was told i can only see doctor at 12.30pm because i did not register and take Q number via the app.so no point of coming early.bad system.doctor is good base on previous encounter.system and service is far from satisfactory
Trust the rating. Appear in person at 1.08pm when registration starts st 1.30pm and cannot even take a Q number. All by online so it means I wait here and no Queue number and all online cleared then see me according to the receptionist. Why even go there?

GP consultation fees at private and GP-panel clinics in Singapore typically run S$25–60 per visit for a standard consultation, with follow-up visits sometimes lower. On top of the consultation, you may be billed separately for investigations (blood panel S$60–200, urine test S$15–40, swab S$20–50), prescriptions, and any procedures carried out during the visit. GST applies on private medical services. If the clinic participates in CHAS, Singapore Citizens holding a CHAS card receive subsidised rates for common illnesses and chronic disease management. Confirm CHAS participation, current consultation fees, and any after-hours or weekend surcharge directly with the clinic before your visit. For any planned investigation or procedure, request a written estimate so you understand the out-of-pocket amount in advance. See the full GP & 24-Hour Clinics cost guide for Singapore →
Every legitimate clinic operating in Singapore must hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence issued under the Healthcare Services Act — verifiable on the MOH licensee directory at moh.gov.sg. Every practising doctor must be registered with the Singapore Medical Council (SMC); you can search by name at smc.gov.sg to confirm registration status and any disciplinary history. No MOH licence or SMC registration details are currently listed on this KakiList profile, so both should be verified directly before booking. For GP practices participating in CHAS or MediSave-claimable chronic disease management, MOH registration is a prerequisite — the clinic's CHAS status can also be used as an indirect confirmation of regulatory standing. Confirm the consulting doctor's name and SMC registration number at your first visit.
MediSave can be used for outpatient treatment of selected chronic conditions under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP), which covers conditions including hypertension, diabetes, high cholesterol, asthma, stroke, and selected mental health conditions, up to the MediSave 500/700 outpatient withdrawal limits (S$500/year general outpatient CDMP, S$700/year with an approved chronic condition). For acute GP visits not under CDMP, MediSave is generally not usable for outpatient GP consultations — you pay out of pocket or via CHAS subsidy. Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) layered on MediShield Life primarily cover inpatient and day-surgery costs rather than outpatient GP visits, so most GP consultations are paid directly. If the GP issues a specialist referral letter that leads to a planned procedure at a private hospital, pre-authorise with your IP insurer and request a Letter of Guarantee before the procedure to avoid claim disputes. Ask the clinic about CHAS card acceptance and MediSave CDMP eligibility at the time of registration.
