About My Family Clinic Woodlands Mart

About My Family Clinic Woodlands Mart

My Family Clinic Woodlands Mart is a general practice clinic located at Woodlands Mart, serving residents in the Woodlands area and across Singapore. The clinic is KakiList-verified, meaning operating details and contact channels have been confirmed by a real person. No regulatory licences appear in the listing data, which is a concern for a GP clinic — MOH Healthcare Services Licence and SMC registration for the consulting doctor or doctors are mandatory and should be confirmed directly with the clinic before booking. The Google rating stands at 2.6 out of 5 across 104 reviews, a statistically robust sample that warrants careful consideration before your visit.

For a GP visit, patients typically walk in or call ahead during operating hours. As this is a general practice, common presentations include acute illness, chronic disease management under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP), repeat prescriptions, and referrals to specialist outpatient clinics. If you hold an Integrated Shield Plan layered on MediShield Life, confirm whether the clinic is a panel provider under your insurer before attending, as out-of-panel claims attract higher co-insurance. MediSave can be used for selected outpatient conditions under the S$500 or S$700 CDMP withdrawal limits. For non-urgent specialist referrals, a GP referral letter to a public hospital subsidised outpatient clinic can reduce your specialist consultation fee substantially compared with a direct private specialist visit.

To proceed, call the clinic directly or submit an enquiry via the contact form on this listing to confirm current operating hours, consultation fees, and whether your specific condition or chronic disease management need falls within the clinic's scope.

If can give zero, will absolutely give them none! Went on Sunday, arrived 30min early before stated opening time at 8am, waited till almost 9am and was told that the clinic waiting time to see the doctor is at 3pm. No one said anything no one put any sign to take number or make appointment. So whoever is walking in to this clinic, be warned and please the sign indicates closed but just walk inside and ask. If not you will wait and wait. Maybe should write in to MOH to review the clinic

Visited on Christmas Day. Doctor is caring, thorough, detailed, reassuring. Receptionist is friendly and super efficient. Had a good experience. Price is reasonable too. Waiting time is almost non existent. Thank you so much!

Rushed to the clinic around 9 + pm with my 6-month-old baby, as he was having nonstop diarrhoea. My husband was repeatedly turned away by the receptionist without being allowed to explain the urgency. We had traveled a considerable distance hoping to see a doctor quickly, only to be told they had 5 more patients and could not accommodate us. The clinic demonstrated a lack of empathy, and staff could benefit from retraining on triaging urgent cases, especially for infants. Additionally, if the clinic has a cutoff time for taking patients, a clear notice would prevent families from making wasted trips.

This is my first positive review for a family clinic. Was attacked and went here for further checkup. Was told full but the receptionist pretty eyes, soft spoken lady (so sorry didnt get your name) was very kind enough to slot me in when I tell her I was attacked earlier evening. The Doctor on the other hand Was very patient (not the type to chase patient out quickly) when I told him I was very worried. He was very attentive. Good job 👍🏾

The receptionist lack of empathy towards patient. If you don’t like your job go find another job which is not serve patient or customer. and also the way u phone call patient need to be train too. NOT RECOMMENDED TO VISIT.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does My Family Clinic Woodlands Mart charge?

GP consultations at private clinics in Singapore typically run S$25–60 per visit, inclusive of basic examination. Common add-ons billed separately include medications and dispensing, diagnostic tests such as a blood panel (S$60–200), urine analysis, or a throat swab, and any referral letters or medical certificates. GST applies on private medical services. For Singapore Citizens and PRs managing chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, or lipid disorders, the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP) allows MediSave withdrawals of up to S$700 per year for qualifying outpatient treatments. Contact the clinic directly to confirm their fee schedule and which CDMP conditions they manage, as pricing can vary by complexity of the consultation and medications prescribed. Is My Family Clinic Woodlands Mart MOH-licensed and how do I verify the doctor?

Every legitimate GP clinic must hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence under the Healthcare Services Act — verifiable on the MOH licensee directory online. Every practising doctor must appear on the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) public register at smc.gov.sg, where you can check registration status, any specialist accreditation, and disciplinary history. No regulatory licences are currently listed for My Family Clinic Woodlands Mart, so it is important to confirm both the clinic licence and the named doctor's SMC entry directly before your visit. The clinic is KakiList-verified, meaning operating details have been confirmed, but licence verification is your own responsibility given the absence of licence data in this listing. The Google rating of 2.6 out of 5 across 104 reviews is a robust sample and reflects a meaningful volume of patient feedback — read recent reviews carefully before attending. Verify the doctor's name on the SMC register and the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before booking, and for any planned procedure request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.

How do I use MediSave or insurance at My Family Clinic Woodlands Mart?

Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) layered on MediShield Life primarily cover inpatient and day-surgery costs rather than routine GP consultations, though some IP riders include outpatient benefits — check your plan schedule before assuming coverage. MediSave can be used for selected outpatient treatments: the standard withdrawal limit is S$500 per year for general outpatient conditions, rising to S$700 per year under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP) for listed chronic conditions including hypertension, diabetes, lipid disorders, asthma, stroke, and selected mental health conditions. For Singapore Citizens and PRs managing chronic conditions, ask the clinic whether they are registered as a CDMP provider, as this determines whether your MediSave withdrawal applies. If you require a referral to a public hospital specialist outpatient clinic (SOC), a GP referral letter can reduce the subsidised consultation fee significantly compared with a direct private specialist visit — typical SOC rates run S$30–80 for Citizens after subsidy, versus S$120–250 for a private specialist first consultation. For any planned procedure, request a written financial counselling estimate from the clinic that clearly splits insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket cost before proceeding.
