When enquiring, confirm the number of trays per day (typically two — lunch and dinner — or three with breakfast added), which dietary tradition the kitchen follows (Cantonese, Hokkien, Teochew, halal, or other), and whether herbal soups, red dates tea, longan tea, and confinement tonics are included in the package or billed separately. Most reputable caterers deliver hot meals twice daily — roughly 11am–1pm for lunch and 5pm–7pm for dinner — within a four-hour cooked-to-delivery window, using BPA-free, microwave-safe containers. Ask whether a trial meal or single-day tasting is available before committing to a full 28-day package, as personal taste and postnatal appetite vary considerably. Shorter 7-day or 14-day options are worth asking about if you prefer to start gradually. Also confirm whether a delivery surcharge applies to your area.
To get started, reach out to Naddycooks via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to request the current menu, package pricing, and available start dates for your estimated delivery month — popular slots fill quickly, so enquire as early as possible.
Order a trial meal and confirm the SFA hygiene grade (and MUIS halal certificate if relevant) before paying the package deposit.
I have been with Fat Queen Cooks since July, and I must say the lady boss is very responsive. Our little family of three always looks forward to dinner tingkat. The food is presentable and tastes great. While the price is slightly higher, the quality and variety, especially the Western dishes on Wednesdays and desserts on Fridays, make it well worth it. My husband, who is usually a picky eater, has also been very satisfied with the food so far. In addition, this is the only caterer so far who has been willing to accommodate my special request for a mix of brown and white rice. Due to health reasons, I needed to switch to brown rice, but my child prefers white rice. The lady boss kindly agreed to provide 1.5 pax of brown rice and 0.5 pax of white rice for us. Thank you for putting your heart into providing such good quality food and for being so accommodating to special requests.
Wholesome yummy dinners. . We loved all the soups and the big portions. Erica is not stingy in her food and is receptive to feedback. Highly recommended if you want home cooked food. Wednesdays are western dinners and Fridays dinners come with desserts. We can see and feel that she takes pride in her preparation of food.
I am delighted to share that I have made the right decision to order my family Christmas lunch from @Fat Queen Cooks/ Erica you're brilliant in putting together an amazing feat of traditional Christmas FOod!! Having spent 14 years savouring and celebrating Christmases in London UK 🇬🇧 I feel it's brought back the nostalgia of Honey Roast Chicken /here it's very moist and succulent and delicious at that with roast vegetables like Brussels sprouts and roast potatoes WOw!! Really scrumptious and just like how I roast it myself/ having family over with 4 grandkids over I didn't want to spend cooking instead it's a time saver and convenient to look for to my order delivery! The bacon skewers and duck canapés were awesome / so well matched for the festive mood/ especially the smoked Duck which I particularly liked! There's lots more to the honey cranberry fizz so refreshing with nice fruit and sparkling drink!! KUDOS to your effort hard work and dedication @FatQueenCooks 5 stars .. THANK YOU SO MUCH 🧧🧧🎄🎯🙏🙌🏻🕊🎁🏡❄️🎊HAPPY 2025 from NONI LAI 💞
The Curry Chicken and Herb-baked Salmon there definitely became our favourites! The Curry Chicken was mildly spicy and had a rich and savoury creamy consistency. It was not too greasy and the curry was “drinkable”. The Herb-baked Salmon was very well-cooked. The salmon cut was thick and retained all its juices within even though it was baked. There was also no fishy taste to it and the herb crust also did not overpower the freshness of the salmon.
Ate their food first at a Christmas party where the catered food was by Fat Queen Cooks. Food was great. Food was individually portioned, so the consumer just picks up and eat. There were leftovers after the party, so I know Fat Queen Cooks does not scrimp on the serving sizes. Taste-wise, it was good too. Salmon was not undercooked, pasta was not dry and clumpy together. Impressed by the food quality as it is above what normal buffet food is like. I ordered my own catering through Fat Queen Cooks after eating their food. So far so good, will have to see their timely delivery to have a complete picture.

Naddycooks prices are presented at the S$$ band; for an exact figure, contact them directly via WhatsApp or phone. As a reference, Singapore confinement food packages typically run S$1,200–2,800 for a standard 28-day programme, depending on the number of trays per day and whether herbal soups and tonics are bundled in or billed separately. Shorter 7-day or 14-day options may be available for trial or partial coverage, and these are worth confirming if you are not ready to commit to a full package upfront. Check whether a delivery surcharge applies if you are in a landed property or a non-central postal district, and clarify the refund or pause policy should you require a hospital extension. Singapore confinement food traditions vary — the most common is Cantonese (warming herbal soups, ginger, sesame oil, sometimes rice wine), but Hokkien, Teochew, halal, and Western-style postnatal menus are also available from specialist caterers. Before paying any deposit, confirm which tradition Naddycooks' kitchen follows, whether the daily menu rotates to avoid repetition over 28 days, and whether dishes can be adjusted for breastfeeding mothers who prefer low-spice or alcohol-free preparations. Ask specifically whether a single-day trial meal is offered — most reputable caterers provide this at around S$30–60. Tasting before committing matters because confinement appetite and sensitivity to rich or herbal flavours changes day to day after delivery, and no menu description fully replaces the experience of eating the food.
No regulatory licences are currently listed for Naddycooks on this directory. For a confinement food caterer, the key licence to confirm is an SFA Food Shop Licence or Catering Licence, which carries a hygiene grade — A is highest, followed by B, C, and D. Halal-certified providers additionally hold a MUIS certificate, which should appear on packaging. Contact Naddycooks directly to request their SFA licence number and current hygiene grade before paying a deposit. Confinement meals should be cooked the same day and delivered hot in microwave-safe, BPA-free containers within a roughly four-hour window. Confirm the twice-daily delivery time slots and ask about the provider's policy if a delivery is missed or delayed — a clear substitute or refund arrangement is a reasonable expectation. Order a trial meal and confirm the SFA hygiene grade (and MUIS halal certificate if relevant) before paying the package deposit.
