About Nala Employment
Nala Employment is an eldercare agency based at One Commonwealth, offering elderly caregiver placement services islandwide across Singapore. The listing is KakiList-verified and ACRA-registered. It holds a 4.8-star rating from 42 Google reviews, a moderate sample that provides a reasonable directional signal, though no regulatory licences are currently recorded on this listing.
Families typically begin by discussing the elder's care needs in detail — mobility level, medical conditions, personal hygiene assistance, companionship, and whether overnight or live-in coverage is required. Nala Employment can then help identify a caregiver whose experience and temperament fit the household. A care assessment before placement helps clarify the hours required, the scope of duties, and whether clinical tasks such as wound care or medication management will be needed, which may require a trained nurse rather than a general caregiver. Families should agree on a trial period, clarify the rate structure, and confirm whether the caregiver is covered by insurance in the event of an injury or incident at home.
To start the process, contact Nala Employment by phone or through the enquiry form on their listing, outline the elder's care needs and preferred schedule, and ask for a written proposal covering rates, scope of duties, and replacement or refund policy.

I would highly recommend Nala Recruitment Agency to anyone requiring MoM dependent pass services. They took care of everything and guided us at every step of the process. I'm 100% sure I wouldn't be collecting my wife's Dependents Pass today if it wasn't for Nala Employment Agency and Jim Wee. Thank you Jim!
Sir, how are you? I want to go to any country in Europe. Can you officially allow me to go to Europe with a work permit? Please tell me.
Engaged their service for the employment for administrative staff. Jim was detailed and attentive to our requirements during the initial interview and came back shortly after (1-2 weeks) with a potential candidate. He was prompt and professional during the entire process and it was a smooth process from start to the end. What i appreciate about Nala's service is that they will help to filter the candidates and not overwhelm you with multiple candidates, which can be time consuming to interview. It has been about 2-3 months since engaging their service and the job performance and attitude of the hire has been nothing short of impressive. She is a great hire and thus this appreciative post to Jim and his team's effort in assisting us to get to work with someone so amazing.
Jim has provided and excellent support and guidance to ensure smooth processing of my EP. My situation was not very standard, but Jim expertly navigated all the processes and the EP got approved on the first application. He knows what he's doing, and I like that he was always very responsive and answered all my questions (of which there were many). Finally, the result is positive and I could not recommend him enough. Thank you Nala Employment and thanks Jim!
I had a great experience with Nala Employment. Stephy was friendly and helpful throughout the entire process. I must say, I was quite impressed. The service exceeded my expectations in several aspects. Stephy was friendly, knowledgeable and went above and beyond to ensure that all my questions and concerns were addressed promptly. She's proactive updates and keeping me informed throughout the entire process. I found out the cost to be justified considering the level of service and quality provided. It was definitely worth the investment. Overall, I highly recommended Nala. I am extremely satisfied with my experience and will definitely consider using their services in the future.

Eldercare caregiver costs in Singapore vary depending on whether you need a part-time visit-based caregiver or a live-in arrangement. Hourly rates for visit-based caregivers typically run S$20–35/hour, with half-day or full-day rates available. Live-in caregivers on a foreign domestic worker arrangement involve a monthly salary (typically S$550–800 depending on nationality and experience), a monthly MOM levy, and an agency placement fee. For a live-in arrangement, expect to budget S$1,500–4,000 upfront in placement and administrative costs, plus the ongoing monthly costs of salary, levy, and insurance. Nala Employment has not published specific pricing on this listing. Contact them directly for a written quote that itemises placement fee, caregiver salary, insurance, and any other charges. Nala Employment focuses on elderly caregiver placement, but the specific service models available — visit-based hourly care, full-day care, or live-in arrangements — are not detailed on this listing. Visit-based caregivers typically cover personal hygiene, medication reminders, meal preparation, and companionship for a set number of hours per day. Live-in caregivers provide around-the-clock support and are better suited to elders with moderate to high dependency needs or those who are unsafe when left alone. A trial period of one to two weeks is standard practice when placing a new caregiver, allowing both the elder and the family to assess temperament and skill fit. Ask Nala Employment about their replacement policy if the initial match is not suitable, and confirm the process in writing before committing.
Caregiver training standards vary significantly in Singapore. Trained caregivers may hold a WSQ Home Personal Care certificate or have completed caregiver training through the Agency for Integrated Care (AIC). Caregivers with specific dementia training are in higher demand and may command a higher rate. For elders with complex medical needs, a registered nurse deployed through an AIC-registered home care provider is more appropriate than a general caregiver. No regulatory licences are currently recorded for Nala Employment on this listing, which means AIC or MOH registration cannot be confirmed here. Ask directly whether the agency holds any AIC registration, whether caregivers are individually insured against injury or incidents at the client's home, and what vetting process — including background checks and reference verification — is applied before placement.
