We engaged NM809 Er Lee May as our confinement nanny. As first-time parents, there were many things we were unfamiliar with, and she guided us patiently throughout the entire confinement period. She took excellent care of both my baby and me. She ensured I had nutritious meals tailored for postpartum recovery and was always very thoughtful in checking our food preferences. She also made sure I had enough rest, managed baby care attentively, and kept our home clean and comfortable at all times. Most importantly, her hygiene standards for baby care were excellent, giving us great peace of mind. We also learned so much from her over the past 28 days. Highly recommended.

NM106 Nanny Leow We were very blessed to have Nanny Leow as our confinement nanny. We decided to go with a confinement agency because of the availability of multiple nannies in case our baby arrived earlier than expected. After looking through various agencies, we chose Nanny Moon because they were intentional in reaching out to us to explain their package and their service. I liked that it was run by Joel and SJ, a couple who themselves understood the need for a good and capable nanny. Nanny Moon also had a free parenting class from Thomson Medical as part of their package. Specifically, we chose Nanny Leow because she was very good with our baby and at cooking. She instantly knew how our son wanted to be carried and what his crying cues were. As first time parents, she taught us how to shower, feed and care for our baby. She also recommended very useful baby products. She wasn't pushy about certain confinement rules and was encouraging when I was experiencing postpartum stress. She is also very hygienic and showers after cooking meals before she cares for the baby again. Her char siew is also a must try!

We were incredibly fortunate to have NM158 Candy Chan with us for two months, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. From the moment she arrived, she impressed us with her professionalism, energy, and genuine care. She looked after our baby with such attentiveness and love — always calm, gentle, and patient. Her experience truly showed in the way she handled every detail, from feeding, soothing and bathing to establishing routines that helped both baby and parents feel settled and confident. Her cooking was another highlight — every meal was delicious, nourishing, and beautifully prepared. She made sure I had the right foods to recover well during my postpartum period, and I could really feel the difference in my energy and wellbeing. The variety and taste of her dishes were amazing — it often felt like we had our very own personal chef! Aunt Candy was also very clean and organised. Everything was always in perfect order, which gave me such peace of mind during recovery. She also gave very helpful suggestions on how to organise our baby room so that we would be able to manage things well on our own. Beyond her skills, what really stood out was her personality. She filled our home with laughter, positivity, and genuine care, making what could have been a stressful period feel joyful and calm. She also speaks English, which made communication smooth and easy. For any family looking for an English-speaking confinement nanny, she would be an absolute gem. We’re so grateful for her dedication, hard work, and the love she showed to both baby and me. She truly went above and beyond in every way, and we’ll miss her dearly. Any family would be incredibly lucky to have her.

Engaged Nanny Moon and was assigned with NM806 Amy Yam. From the very start when she came in, she was the superwoman that we needed as my husband and I tried our best to get used to our new life with our first baby. There were many things that we were not familiar with, and Amy was there every step of the way to guide us and teach us. She also had her own wealth of experience and gave many advice that we wouldn’t have known. She was also flexible in how we decide to follow the confinement rules, and provided suggestions and rationale on why certain things are done certain way, which made confinement and recovery for me truly a breeze and enjoyable time as I bond with my newborn. Her dishes always came in abundance and deliciously cooked, so now I also got extra recipes I can cook on my own at home! You can see her dedication to her work through the way she treated our newborn, with 100% love and care. Separately, the owners and team of Nannymoon have left me with an impression that they carefully select and watch over the training of their nannies, and it’s unlikely for them to have a “wild card” nanny. That being said, their free 2x nanny swap was enough reassurance for me to choose them for my confinement needs. Thank you Nannymoon!

We engaged NM818 Loh Yum Foon as our confinement nanny, and she was amazing! Her advice on baby care, especially breastfeeding and sleep routines, was invaluable. She maintained a clean and hygienic environment, which was very reassuring during my recovery. She provided round-the-clock care for our baby and made sure I had enough rest. Her herbal soups and meals were perfectly tailored to my recovery needs, and she shared so many helpful baby care tips that made me feel more confident as a first-time mom. We highly recommend Loh Yum Foon to anyone looking for a caring, professional, and reliable confinement nanny.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does "Nanny Moon" charge per month?

Nanny Moon has not published specific rates on this listing, so you will need to contact them directly to obtain a quote based on your required hours, the age of the child, and the nature of care needed. For nanny and babysitter services in Singapore, fees typically vary depending on whether the arrangement is ad hoc, part-time, or full-time, and whether the nanny is engaged directly or through an agency. It is worth clarifying upfront whether any registration or placement fee applies, and what notice period is expected on both sides. Childcare fees in Singapore are generally GST-exempt. What subsidies can I claim at "Nanny Moon"?

Government subsidies administered by ECDA — including the Basic Subsidy, Working Mother's Child Care Subsidy, and Additional Subsidy — are specifically tied to licensed childcare centres and infant care centres. As Nanny Moon provides nanny and babysitter services rather than a licensed centre-based programme, these subsidies are unlikely to apply directly to fees paid here. Singapore citizen families may wish to explore the Flexible Work Support component under the CareShield or other ComCare schemes, depending on circumstances, but eligibility criteria vary. Speak with your social service office or visit ECDA's website for the most current information, as subsidy structures are subject to change. PRs and non-citizens have more limited access to government support.

Is there a waitlist at "Nanny Moon"?

Nanny and babysitter availability can shift quickly, particularly for full-time or live-in arrangements where a single caregiver can only take one family at a time. It is advisable to enquire as early as possible — ideally several weeks to a few months before your intended start date — to avoid a gap in care coverage. Contact Nanny Moon directly via WhatsApp or phone to check current availability for your required schedule and start month. If your first-choice nanny is unavailable, ask whether there are others on the roster who match your requirements. Securing the arrangement early with a confirmed written agreement gives both parties clarity on terms and timing.
