About NannySOS Confinement Food

About NannySOS Confinement Food

NannySOS Confinement Food offers islandwide confinement meal delivery from its base at 750 Chai Chee Road. The listing is KakiList-verified and ACRA-registered. With 114 Google reviews and a rating of 4.7 out of 5, the provider has a robust review sample suggesting consistent satisfaction among new mothers. No regulatory licences are currently listed on this profile, so it is worth confirming with NannySOS Confinement Food directly that an SFA Food Shop or Catering Licence is held before placing a package order.

Most families begin by deciding on package length — a 28-day package is the standard, though shorter 7-day or 14-day options work well as a trial or to supplement home cooking. Each day typically covers two delivery windows (lunch and dinner), and it is worth confirming whether herbal soups such as red dates tea, longan tea, and ginger sesame chicken are included in the package price or billed separately. Before committing to the full package, ask about the dietary tradition offered — Cantonese, Hokkien, Teochew, Western postnatal, halal, or vegetarian — and whether the daily menu rotates or repeats. A trial meal is the best way to assess whether the flavours and portion sizes suit you, particularly as postnatal appetite and preferences can shift considerably day to day.

To take the next step, reach out to NannySOS Confinement Food by phone or through the enquiry form on their listing to request a menu, confirm delivery slots for your due date, and arrange a trial meal before paying any deposit.

We were incredibly fortunate to have Auntie Lilian join us right after we returned from the hospital. That first week was one of the most physically and emotionally exhausting times for us — we were running on very little sleep, still recovering from the delivery, and adjusting to our newborn’s needs. From the moment she arrived, Auntie Lilian brought calm, competence, and composure into our home. She took care of both baby and mummy with such skill and thoughtfulness. Her gentle, reassuring manner immediately put us at ease. She handled every feeding, diaper change, and bath with confidence, always keeping baby clean, comfortable, and content. For my wife, she made sure I had nutritious confinement meals, herbal soups, and ample rest — all while keeping a tidy kitchen. What truly stood out was her attentiveness and initiative. We never had to ask twice — she anticipated our needs before we even realized them. She was also generous in sharing her knowledge, teaching us how to handle and soothe our baby after we had recovered from the first week's fatigue, and giving us the confidence to manage things on our own. Thanks to Auntie Lilian, we were able to focus on recovery and bonding as a family, instead of worrying about the endless details of newborn care. Her warmth, professionalism, and dedication made an immense difference in our postpartum journey. We can’t thank her enough — she’s truly a gem, and any family would be lucky to have her!

We were lucky to have Aunty Agnes with us for five weeks, and we honestly can’t imagine going through our confinement without her. She is everything we could have hoped for in a nanny: loving, knowledgeable, and very professional. Despite her wealth of experience, she never assumes or imposes. She always checks in with us, whether it’s about our meals, our routines, or how we’d like to handle the baby. When we’re unsure, she gently guides and teaches us, never once making us feel small for not knowing. She takes her work very seriously and always balances between giving advice and respecting our ways. That balance is rare, and we trust her completely. Our baby was quite colicky and had mild jaundice in the first week. Aunty Agnes took such good care, tending to every feed even in the middle of the night. Because of her attention, the jaundice cleared within that first week, as confirmed at our doctor’s visit. Her patience and intuition with the baby gave us peace of mind and allowed us to rest. On the confinement front, she’s incredibly knowledgeable. She has a mental calendar of when and how to introduce each tonic or dish so that recovery happens steadily and safely. It’s not just about herbs, it’s about understanding the body’s rhythm. Her cooking is delicious and suited to our preference for lighter meals, yet still nourishing and full of variety. She works efficiently, keeps everything clean, and is always on top of baby’s laundry. What we’ll remember most is her warmth. She chats with us, supports mommy emotionally, teaches both of us how to shower and care for the baby, and even prepares us for life after she leaves. We already miss her so much writing this. We would highly recommend Aunty Agnes to any family looking for a confinement nanny. Just one reminder, she’s here to look after mommy and baby, not to be a household helper. If you show her care and offer to help lighten her load, you’ll find she gives her best in return. When you work with her as a team, you’ll see what a blessing she truly is. Thank you, Aunty Agnes, for taking such good care of our family. You’ll always be part of our baby’s first chapter. We wish Aunty Agnes good health and success, and we will keep in touch.

This is our 2nd time engaging Aunty Candy to take care of us during confinement. We would like to thank Aunty Candy for taking really good care of us, our baby even our firstborn for the confinement period. Aunty Candy's cooking has always been so good, I really enjoyed all the food she cooked for us. The dishes were never repeated and were catered to our liking. My firstborn loved her cooking so much and even asked me to learn her recipes. We are also very grateful for how she took good care of us during this period as we were very busy tending to our firstborn. We really recommend NannySOS and Aunty Candy.

Aunty Lilian is amazing! She’s very caring and took great care of both me and my newborn. With her rich experience, she patiently taught us baby care skills and slowly got us involved so we gained confidence as new parents. Her 月子餐 is also delicious and nutritious — sometimes she even cooked for the whole family! She’s proactive, easy-going, and truly treats us like family. We’re so thankful for her help and highly recommend her to any new parents!

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does NannySOS Confinement Food charge for a confinement food package?

NannySOS Confinement Food operates on a package model. In the Singapore market, 28-day confinement food packages typically range from S$1,200 to S$2,800, depending on the number of trays per day — most caterers deliver two (lunch and dinner), with some offering a third breakfast tray at additional cost. Confirm whether herbal soups, red dates tea, longan tea, and confinement tonics are bundled into the package price or charged separately, as this can meaningfully affect the total cost. Also check whether there is a delivery surcharge for landed properties or addresses outside the central region. Contact NannySOS Confinement Food directly for their current package pricing and available start dates. See the full confinement food cost guide for Singapore →

What dietary tradition does NannySOS Confinement Food follow, and is there a trial meal?

Singapore confinement food traditions vary considerably — Cantonese is the most common, emphasising warming herbal soups, ginger, sesame oil, and rice wine; Hokkien and Teochew styles differ in seasoning and soup bases; and Western-style postnatal, halal, and vegetarian options are available from specialist caterers. Before committing to a 28-day package, confirm which tradition NannySOS Confinement Food specialises in, whether the daily menu rotates or follows a weekly repeat, and whether dishes can be adjusted for breastfeeding mothers who prefer low-spice or alcohol-free options. Most reputable caterers offer a single-day or trial meal at roughly S$30–60. This is worth arranging before paying the package deposit — confinement appetite shifts daily and personal taste is a better guide than menu descriptions alone.

Is NannySOS Confinement Food licensed and how is food safety handled?

Licensed confinement food caterers hold an SFA Food Shop Licence or Catering Licence, and the hygiene grade (A being highest, followed by B, C, and D) should be displayed at the premises and available on request. Halal-certified providers additionally hold a MUIS certificate, which should appear on packaging. No regulatory licences are currently listed on the NannySOS Confinement Food profile on KakiList, so confirm directly that the relevant SFA licence is held and ask for the current hygiene grade before placing an order. Confinement meals are cooked the same day and delivered hot within a roughly four-hour window. Confirm the twice-daily delivery time slots, that packaging is BPA-free and microwave-safe, and what the substitute or refund policy is if a delivery is missed.
