About "Nanyang Learning"
Nanyang Learning is a tuition centre serving families across Singapore on an islandwide basis. The listing is KakiList-verified and ACRA-registered, indicating confirmed operating details and a registered business entity. Its Google rating stands at 3.2 out of 5, though this is drawn from only 16 reviews and should be treated as directional rather than conclusive. Pricing is indicated at the mid-range tier ($$), though specific per-session or monthly fees were not provided at the time of listing.
Families looking to enrol a child should begin by enquiring about the appropriate level and syllabus fit — whether your child follows the MOE national curriculum, IGCSE, IB, or another framework. It is worth asking whether classes are conducted in small groups or on a one-to-one basis, as this affects both pacing and cost. Many tuition centres offer a trial class before you commit to a term, so do raise this when you reach out. Clarify whether sessions are held in person at the Ang Mo Kio Avenue 5 centre or if online options are available, and confirm the term commitment and cancellation policy before signing up.
To get started, reach out to Nanyang Learning via WhatsApp, phone, or their enquiry form to discuss your child's subject needs and request details on scheduling and available slots. Listing data is incomplete — contact "Nanyang Learning" directly to confirm details.
Take the trial class and confirm the tutor's actual credentials before committing to a term.
Based on my experience: Slow and Defensive Reached out with basic questions. Took weeks to get replies. The communication felt defensive and unprofessional when I asked about simple question like does tutor provide learning notes.. They also don’t allow parents to speak to tutors directly before signing up. Because of this, I decided not to proceed. Other parents should be cautious.
Do not engage tutors from them! Bad experience with the tutor they recommended. Not qualified as they claimed. Tried another tutor and also bad. Won’t recommend them. In the end I engaged the tutor from minded. so much better!
Resourceful tuition agency with many experienced tutors. A big thank you to Ethan for helping me to find suitable tutors for my children. They were very patient with my children and their grades improved a lot.
Thanks to Ethan from Nanyang Academics Tutors. The tuition teachers Ethan had recommended are great. All the tuition teachers are very motivating. My boy just got the o level results and have 4 As in all the subjects tutored by these tutors. Especially Chemistry tutor, she pulled my boy from fail to A1 in Chemistry. This is amazing! Good tutors who are motivating and encouraging are hard to find, and we are fortunate. Thank you!
Had tried to engage a tutor from this agent . Is very ineffective and full of hidden agenda . Refused to release contact number to the parents in advance . As parents , we are unable to communicate with tutors till that day itself when the tutor arrives. This agent Ethan tends to lie . Therefore , how to trust him as middle man to convey the message across to him then to the tutor . Parents please be caution when using his service unless he allows numbers to exchange before the start of the class. No issues with other agency except his agent .

Nanyang Learning has not published its specific per-session rates on this listing. In general, tuition centres in Singapore price sessions on a per-session basis, as part of a monthly package, or as a term fee paid upfront. Rates vary depending on subject, level (primary, secondary, JC), and format (group vs one-to-one). Group tuition typically runs S$30–80 per session, while one-to-one tuition can range from S$60 to S$150 or more per session at a centre. Ask about trial class fees, any materials or workbook charges, and whether sibling or package discounts apply. Confirm whether fees are collected monthly or per term. Many tuition centres in Singapore offer a trial class — sometimes at a reduced fee, sometimes at the standard session rate — before asking you to commit to a full term. It is worth confirming with Nanyang Learning directly whether a trial is available and what it costs. During the trial, observe whether the teaching pace matches your child's current level, whether the tutor addresses individual gaps, and whether your child feels engaged rather than lost or bored. A good trial class should give you a realistic sense of class size, the tutor's communication style, and how closely the content aligns with your child's school syllabus. Take the trial class and confirm the tutor's actual credentials before committing to a term.
Tutor credentials have not been published in this listing. When evaluating a tuition centre, it is reasonable to ask whether tutors hold a degree in the relevant subject, whether any have NIE training or prior MOE teaching experience, and how long they have been teaching at this centre specifically. Also confirm which syllabuses the tutors are familiar with — MOE SEAB, IGCSE, IB, or other frameworks — and whether the same tutor will consistently take your child's class. High turnover of tutors at a centre can disrupt continuity. Contact Nanyang Learning directly to request this information before enrolling.
