About Nascans
Nascans is a private tutoring provider operating islandwide from its base at 73 Bukit Timah Road, Singapore 229832. The business is ACRA registered and KakiList verified, meaning operating details and contact channels have been confirmed by a real person. Its current Google rating of 1.6 out of 5 across 34 reviews is a moderate sample and warrants careful consideration before engaging; prospective clients are encouraged to review individual feedback in full. Pricing is indicated at the mid-range tier ($$), though no specific per-session or package rate has been published.
Families or students looking to engage Nascans should begin by enquiring about the level and syllabus fit — whether that is the local MOE curriculum, IGCSE, IB, or another framework. It is worth asking whether sessions are conducted on a one-to-one or group basis, and whether tuition takes place in-person at the Bukit Timah Road premises or is available online. Clarify any term commitment expectations upfront, and ask whether a trial class is offered before signing up for a longer arrangement. If materials or resources are provided, confirm whether these are included in the stated fee.
To take the next step, contact Nascans directly via phone or through the enquiry form listed on this directory to ask about current availability, session formats, and pricing before making any commitment. Listing data is incomplete — contact Nascans directly to confirm details.
Take the trial class and confirm the tutor's actual credentials before committing to a term.
1)There was once the teacher say do not talk or else you will do reflection but a another teacher was behind, but then i needed something from my friend so then I softly tell my friend what I need then the teacher said write reflection like what ,the teacher is right behind me of course can hear me. 2) The food tastes does not taste good can be improved .
Please change management or close down completely. Complaints aplenty for years but nothing has been rectified. If you don't have pride running your business/ offering a decent service, please give others a chance to do it.
1)One time the teacher say no talking when I was doing work l needed to ask my friend to help me so I ask my friend after that the teacher force me to do reflection 2) I eat the food the food need to improve 3) One time my friend wanted to ask my teacher to go to his classroom to his parents what time he can go home suddenly he started scolding him for no reason

I enrolled my sons at NASCANS at Teck Ghee Primary School in 2020 to 2021, hoping that they would receive excellent care. However, I was disappointed with the services provided. Despite being listed as a leading student care brand with over 25 locations in partner MOE schools, the management control for their school-based services was mediocre at best. The food choices were limited, and my sons had to settle for whatever the school canteen offered, even when some of the stalls were already closed for the day. Due to Covid measures, they were not allowed to move around in their class, which made them feel practically imprisoned to their seats from 2pm to 6pm. The teachers changed all the time, so there was a lack of consistency and dedication. Moreover, one of my sons was bullied by others right under their nose, and they did nothing about it. Overall, I cannot recommend NASCANS at Teck Ghee Primary School based on my experience.

Nascans displays a mid-range price indicator, but no specific per-session rate, monthly package fee, or term fee has been published. In the Singapore private tuition market, rates vary significantly by subject, level, and format — group sessions typically run lower than one-to-one arrangements, and secondary or junior college levels generally command higher rates than primary. When enquiring, ask whether there is a separate trial class fee, whether materials or printed resources carry an additional charge, and whether sibling or multi-subject discounts apply. Confirm the full fee structure in writing before committing. See the full private tutor cost guide for Singapore →
A trial class is a standard practice among reputable private tutors in Singapore and gives both the student and the provider an opportunity to assess suitability before any term commitment is made. When contacting Nascans, ask explicitly whether a trial session is available, whether it is charged at the standard rate or at a reduced introductory fee, and what the cancellation policy is if you decide not to continue. During the trial, pay attention to how the tutor communicates concepts, whether the pace and level match the student's current standing, and whether the teaching style suits the learner. A single session is usually sufficient to judge basic fit, though some parents prefer two sessions before deciding.
No information about tutor qualifications has been published for Nascans at this time. When speaking with the provider, it is reasonable to ask whether tutors hold a degree in the relevant subject area, whether any have NIE training or prior MOE teaching experience, and how many years they have been teaching the specific syllabus — whether MOE, IGCSE, IB, or otherwise. Syllabus alignment matters particularly for examination subjects, so confirm that the tutor is familiar with the current examination format and marking criteria. If you are preparing for a specific national examination, ask for examples of how previous students have progressed. Take the trial class and confirm the tutor's actual credentials before committing to a term.
